I can’t agree with either analyst. The bear was just talking nonsense. He had nothing to say really and nothing to back up his wild claims. The ARK model is something I looked over yet again and it still is really poorly done. Very obvious problems and flaws. Clearly shows they don’t know anything about manufacturing at all. I don’t invest with them anymore as their research has become nothing more than marketing hype generation to sell more investors on their funds in my opinion.

The Clean Energy guy is way off. P/E of 10 on a growth company? He is VERY short sighted. Cyber Truck growth, charge network, storage and autonomy will more than make up any 'slippage'. I'm in the camp of $2,000+ in 5 years.

Autonomous EV will only be the cars that exit. All other gas and EV will not survive. Ie only Tesla car and othe EV license fsd from Tesla. RIP other OEM.

I am not sure that the $2600 target is achievable but would love it if it was. I will continue to DCA and ride out the volatility for long term gains. for now Tesla is at a standstill moment till the solve fsd or have the robot taxi's or a very cheap car for $20k-25k.. So you are looking at a 3 year time line imo before it goes up

The exakt moment Hayley's (confirmation) BIAS becomes evident: 0:39 She goes on disputing any argument from interview #1 while seconding every argument of interview #2. The issue with this might be: Most of the things (plans of what Tesla *promises* to achieve) in interview #2 still have to solidify as reality. Some of the comments on this vid is scary. Listen. if one had just bought the plain, boring, S&P 500 a year ago, they'd be up 25% right now. If one had spent that same money on Tesla, they'd be down 34%. From what I'm seeing, most of you people are much better off parking money into a low cost ETF like VOO or SPY and call it a day. Either that or just give your money away to institutional investors and Tesla executives. If you think Cathie Woods and ARK investments is a credible source for investment advice. Just google her and Ark's performance and report back.

Tesla is forecast to earn $2.40 this year down 23% from last year and is priced at $185. That’s a PE of 77 on negative eps growth of 23%. That’s not sustainable. For a solid valuation, negative growth will never prove to be a good outcome. So much sentiment is built into the price. At least 75%. What happens if the optimism of autonomous driving doesn’t come to reality. Has it ever occurred to anybody that it doesn’t matter if Tesla fails, Musk will still have his money? His payout is outrageous. Chances are the stock won’t fall anywhere near $15 ( let’s face it, this guy shorting the stock has so much to gain by trashing the company) but the price could easily fall by half within a year or 2 as earnings continue to fall for a range of reasons, 1 of the main ones being cheap Chinese competition. Buyer beware…

Why I think Tesla will be fabulous in the (near) future: speed of innovation (carbon fiber in the motor (cfr. beneath), octovalve, gigapress, weight reduction, 4680 cells, structural integration, the lightest wire harnesses,, 48 volt, ...). Continuous improvement of models. Agile/flexible to the core. Most and best vertical integration with even room to improve that (e.g: made them less vulnerable for chip shortages). No legacy infrastructure, culture, dealers, debt, .. dragging them down. Led within an engineering culture, not a finance culture. The biggest and fastest growing dataset to train FSD. They develop their own neural network chip (in car and in DOJO). Develop their own training supercomputer (DOJO). They have their own and fast growing charging network with the best user experience. They have the most valuable corporate brand (known to have the most visionairy leader who has the superpower to bring the vision to action). The best people want to work for Tesla (SpaceX is second most wanted employer). Tesla is seen as the true leader of electrifying the car/energy market, no legacy car maker would even have thought of making EV's if it wasn't for Tesla (and yes, I know that GM had the EV1, but you should also know that they killed it themeselves which proves that they didn't see the potential for EV's). Tesla has a clear and compelling mission. They are seen as the most innovative. Tesla has the fastest production car of a significant production volume, ... ... and therefore: the demand for Tesla still is high. Even without advertising! Tesla is the most profitable per car made. Tesla has great software and hardware in their cars and they are the direct owner of it (it is not outsourced). They are building production capacity at a rate you can't even imagine. My conclusion: Tesla is in the lead and I think it will be very, very hard to catch up for legacy car companies. And I didn't even mention their battery business (grid and domestic), solar panel business, the potential to monetize their AI knowledge and infrastructure, Optimus Prime, ... And actually, I probably forgot to mention some other reasons why to be very bullish on Tesla. Feel free to add. So, everybody with more intelligence than the second layer of paint on the wall can see that Tesla/Elon doesn't just talk, but executes. Elon is ambitious and as such indeed overestimates what can be delivered. But IMHO everybody would have to admit that what is actually done/delivered is massively impressive. A sidenote: is Elon perfect? For me, clearly not. As a long term investor, I would have preferred him to stay away from Twitter and politics. But He is a free man and I just have to pull up with it or stop investing, which I can do because I am free too. I even find some comfort in the fact that even super smart people can do really stupid stuff. Makes it easier for me to cope with the stupid stuff I did. E.g about the carbon around the rotor in the motor: an electromotor consists of a stator and a rotor. The rotor is the part that turns around winthin the stator. The speed of the motor (rpm=rotations per minute) is limited by how good the centrifugal forces can be 'tamed' by the stuff that keeps the rotor together. Too much rotations and the rotor will be shred apart. So what Tesla did: they substituted the metal that kept the rotor together by carbon fiber. Result: the 'carbon fibered' rotor can do much more rotations per minute. Why is that such an innovation? At Porshe they thought they had outsmarted Tesla and they introduced a 2 speed transmission in the electric Taycan. It worked for a very brief period of time. During that time, the fastest Taycan was indeed faster than the fastest Tesla. Until the Tesla Plaid with it's 'carbon fibered' motors, that does't need a 2 speed transmission, crushed the Taycan. ... and every other unmodified production car of a significant production volume! And no, substituting metal by carbon fiber to wrap the rotor in, is not super expensive. Although carbon fiber is 50+ times more expensive, you don't need al lot of it. And it is not the price of carbon fiber that is the crux, it is the fabrication process and how to integrate it in the motor design that is super innovatieve. As Elon says: 'the best part is no part'. Fabulously illustrated by the idea of the carbon fiber application that results in a motor that makes a 2 speed transmission obsolete. (hope it's clear, English is not my native language)

Anyone who knows how wallstreet values an american company with the growth rate and current duopolistic position they basically have with BYD understands tesla is going to hit 10T market cap after they sell 20 million vehicles a year with extraordinary profit margin of FSD. Don't forget the optimus story. I can see how tesla reaches 10T, how does apple, google, msft, nvda etc reach 10T? yeah i'll take my 17x return from current valuations for the most predictable valuation out of all of tech.

Elon/Tesla said in December, the next few quarters are going to be tough. But look at their future, they’re ramping production of Tesla cars, cybertruck, Tesla semi, Tesla energy. The boring company is still building and tunnelling. Optimus is in development. Ai is going insane developing faster and faster each year. Tesla is building a plant in Mexico. That costs money. Tesla is using its cash to develop. If people can’t see the golden opportunity here they shouldn’t be investing. Stock up people, you just see what happens next year. You did describe the guest as a short however he is more than that. He is the head of a competing company, and a competing Technology. He has filed multiple lawsuits against Tesla and has produced deceptive videos against Tesla. He hates Elon personally and has no analysis to base his $15 valuation on. He has no credibility in valuation for Tesla especially if you look at his record from 2015 on. Ark (Tasha) has publicly available analysis of Tesla. You may disagree with portions or all of their analysis but they have a documented case for their valuation. However even Arks analysis doesn’t include things like Optimus so it’s not complete and is probably behind reality. (Higher valuation than Ark predict in 2029)

Unfortunately Tesla is not going anywhere for a couple of years, next earnings is likely not so good, this could cause a run of sorts, particularly the retail cult members, if they start jumping it could easily go to $50.00. Tesla is more of a long term play, but needs some short term earnings in the middle of a constrained & competitive auto sector, without earnings it’s just a story, a lot of opium. but betting against Elon is not such a good idea, BTW you only get 20% Elon with Tesla, the other 80% is in other interests. Something the media never wants to bring up is The entire car market is down right now due to interest rates and it's an election year. So many people are choosing not to buy right now whether it's ice or Ev. If there's a short-term dip down to the double digits I will use that opportunity to buy more because I have the long-term vision and faith in Elon Musk and Tesla. Yeah I agree with you in that the Tesla stock shorter did not present solid arguments. As a Tesla shareholder myself, however, I think Tesla is a risky investment. It is a several hundred billion dollar company, but the demand is not that strong. Maybe Tesla is popular on the west coast where the gas price is insanely high but as of now the company’s valuation is not justified. Tesla is a speculative stock.

Without a doubt, this year will be worse than the last. I lost a lot of money last year as a result of bad investment choices that I would not have made if I hadn't been so worried about my portfolio. I kept investing, but I couldn't determine whether to start paying for a house. In the end, I sold my positions, and the house needed more work than I had planned. I'm not sure how long I can keep going like this.

I would like to share my own accounting about the future of Tesla. I have estimated a realistic view of EV, Tesla Semis, Robotaxis to give a Revenue in 2034 of about 1 Trillion dollars in revenue but narrowing down to Net Income would be 147Billion in 2034. Plus FSD it would be 86 Billion in revenue with a higher gross margin to about and narrow the revenue to net income to about 30 Billion. Which means the total Net Income from EVs, Tesla Semis, and Robotaxis and plus FSD of 147 Billion + 30 Billion would mean Tesla's Net Income in 2034 be 177 Billion now then as an investor that follows Buffett's DCF model of 15% I would get a total of 805 Billion dollar in Market cap ÷ with Outstanding shares of 3.19 my intrinsic Value will be USD164 per share. Maybe someone can explain to me if these facts would be wrong? I would like to change my view to be more optimistic about Tesla but still be realistic about the valuation.

It's certain that this year will bring more challenging challenges. Looking back, I realized that I spent the entire previous year making expensive financial blunders because I was so consumed with worrying about my portfolio. I was forced to decide between raising my investments and purchasing a home. I discovered that the property I had bought needed more work than I had anticipated after deciding to sell my investments. It's becoming more difficult to determine how much longer I can take this.

Great video but was torture listening to that guy, he seems concerned that he gonna loose his you know what. I think the second quarter on the ev part of the business is gonna be lower but margins aren’t going to be as bad. He’s not even thinking about the energy part of the business that will also help for now.

Last quarter, Teslas price drops were matches by an equivalent drop in the cost of manufacture, which other EV companies also experienced as a result of mainly dropping lithium prices.

If they have bad deliveries July 2nd which is not out of the realm of possibilities and it goes to 160 or 140 Im buying a ton. Because the next 5 years are going to be massive.
