"Is that a womb?" Yes, it is. She turned into a giant womb, that is her "monster." The ganster guy was my fav of the show. You will learn why he is after the stiches guy and all I can say is Stiches needs to be put down. Period. I really love seeing the confusion on your faces at times. This show is crazy.
I don’t know if this was mentioned before in the comment, the actress who played the firefighter Lee Si Young is a former armature boxer that’s why she has a gorgeous body, she really prepared for this role to tone her body working out daily even though she’s already a mom! She is one of my fave actress before she decided to become a boxer to complete. Plus she is so popular in TikTok 😉
The actress that plays the firefighter is in that shape because she is a successful amateur boxer. She played a boxer in a role long ago, fell in love with the sport, and took it up for real. I believe she won some 1st place rankings for her weight division.
Stiches guy definitely has a backstory and it will be revealed. I think it's gonna happen in the next episode or the one after that. The woman who lost her child transformed into a giant fetus inside a womb. Her desire was to not hurt anyone and of course she missed her baby. She turned into a non-threatening monster. In general, the transformations are decided by someone's deepest desire and they're triggered by strong emotions. For instance, Protein monster is probably someone hellbent on gaining muscle so he keeps wanting protein (humans are what he wants to eat as protein now). The Eye monster was probably someone who liked to peek into others' lives. Hyun-soo's drive (imo) is actually to live despite wanting to die in the beginning of the show and later it is to protect. There will be more transformations and they're really interesting. What's happening is not a virus. They're calling it a curse and even an evolution of human kind. I'm glad that as the show progresses, you're starting to become more intrigued 😉 Looking forward to your next reactions ❤️
This was my observation when I watched the show. The despair and desire go hand in hand. People who are sad, depressed, some kind of negativity or I suppose mentally unbalanced get infected and what they turn into is based on what they desire. The woman in the red dress at the beginning was under stress from the auditions and upset with her family but was also starving herself to try and be as appealing as possible in those auditions. Her desire to eat changed her into a creature that was constantly hungry. Big giant monster that always said protein was probably some body builder who was obsessed with getting bigger and bigger muscles and that changed him. The main guy was infected because he was depressed and suicidal. When he was hallucinating, the monster side asked what he wanted. And at first it was the flashback of him saying for everyone to die. But right when he was about to change into a monster he heard the kids. In that moment he remembered that those kids are depending on him. So his desire changed to helping the kids, saving the kids. Once you see the pattern, you can make guesses on who could possibly be next.
as they’ve said every monster is ultimately the result of whatever they deeply desire. the plot doesn’t really go into detail about why people are turning other than that so for example the protein monster is more than likely a gym rat or someone who was obsessed with becoming strong. the woman became a womb more than likely because she desired having her baby alive being that hers passed so suddenly. i believe that’s also why everyone’s story is so important in this drama, because it sortve gives you insight on what they are gonna become. edit: the womb lady also first turned when she was trying to protect the children from the protein monster so I think her desire also involved being protective over the children since she couldn’t with hers!
This series just makes you more confused when an episode finishes lol. I binged watched it! I think it's better to binge-watch because there are so many characters and they all have different back stories + the way they present everyone's backgrounds is a bit hard to follow if you don't know the actors. I promise it gets good and you get a lot of your questions answered by the end, but if you guys good binge watch it I would recommend it because I feel like you wouldn't get as lost in the character stories
I binge-watched a week ago and can't stop thinking about it haha. Can't wait for s2!! I don't know how people have waited for s2 for 3 years meanwhile I can't wait for 3 weeks😭😭
The lady turned into a cocoon bc her desire was to ‘protect the kids’. If u remember earlier, w the Protein monster (big muscle one), as soon as his attention went to them, she jumped on him and attacked until the focus was no longer on the kids - bc her desire was to protect them. Even after, she asked if the kids were okay when she reverted Her final monster form will be that cocoon bc by trapping herself in a womb, she can protect the kids bc it means she won’t attack them. Also it does reminisce what she’s always wanted, which was to protect children. Just like her own - so she’s not a vengeful monster, but one at peace if that makes sense
This is a great series, confusing from start but will love it as it goes along. Hope you guys could react to "The Uncanny Counter" or "Taxi Driver" or "Vicenzo" or "DP" or "Welcome to Waikiki" (comedy and a little bit of Romance). Thanks for your reaction!
too "get this" u gotta understand one thing - curse - desire, it's basically good versus bad, u either feed one side or the other. the people that feed the bad side, turn into mindless monsters that just want one thing - they're like machines that r incapable of any thought, other then fulfilling their hearts desire - at all cost. the ones that don't give into the "bad side" hold onto their humanity, like Hyun Soo. the lady that lost her baby, her hearts desire was her baby surviving / living. turning into anything, would hurt those kids so her choice was turning into something that would Never hurt anyone, and yet fulfill her desire 🤷♀ nothing in this drama is that hard to get - the character's choices or inner struggles... u just have to have ur eyes glued to the screen and notice every miniscule clue left, that will help connect the dots. idk what people be going on, about this being confusing 🙄 Eun Yoo isn't a likeable character (didn't like when 1st watched this) but after rewatching she's the one that is too truthful, the truth isn't always nice to hear and she for sure doesn't mince words - but she gets her point across and i rather her, then others that seem one way and act like they think about the great good, when that's far from the truth like her bother Eun Hyuk.
I stumbled across your channel while looking for other reactions to AoUaD and stayed for your other content (and Loki. And maybe the Cap shield in the back.) I’m so glad you’re watching Sweet Home. I’ve seen it, so (re-watching) with you guys is like I get to give a present to someone: “Ooooo, I can’t wait to see how the guys react to this!” Reaction channels like yours are fun. Pre-pandemic, there used to be watch parties and get togethers. It’s safer now, but I live around. a lot of sick people or high risk people, so I try not to have too many people over for their safety. Wideo-sharing is fun, too, but you miss the facial expressions and interactions. Watching you guys brings that back and it helps me feel less isolated and alone in this place. Thank you. If you guys can find it, I’d love to see you react to Healer. The streaming service I watched it on went offline. It’s a kind of thriller with drama, and it also features a minor character with a disability. There’s snazzy tech, fighting, a little wild justice, and my all time favorite trope, which I can’t tell because I’ll spoil the show. If you guys want to tackle something romantic (and funny and supernatural) there’s Goblin/Guardian. I think it’s available on Vitki. It was my first k-drama ever and for me, it’s a perfect 10, from cinematography to music to acting. (And there’s at least two actors you’ll recognize in it, in very meaty parts.) A nice mix of the above would be “My Holo Lover.”
Even though eun hyeok seems nonchalant and doesn’t care, he shows he cares by looking out for everyone regardless of how heartless his decisions seem. Bro was constantly thinking ahead to survive as long as possible while everyone was thinking temporarily and in the present. Sidenote: the hand signals ‘ol girl used when she said “f**k ba$tards like you” is something i will use when really necessary when someone pisses me off that I can’t stand. Lol.
I really love the show and I think you guys will to because my favorite scenes from the show hasn’t even came up yet. I hope y’all grow more attached to the characters, especially Hyun-Su. He’s my favorite and I just grow to feel for him. Anyway, I love you guys reaction!
Is king of the pigs a good drama because people have recommended it to me but I don't really know what it's about. I've heard its similar to weak hero class 1 and i loved that show.
@@darwasthere one of the best dramas i've ever seen if i'm honest. i loved everything about it. i highly recommend it. here's the summary if you're interested: 《Two friends meet up and recall their experiences as victims of school bullying when they receive a message from a friend from 20 years ago and mysterious serial killings begin to occur. Kyung Min lives with the trauma of the school violence he experienced twenty years ago and an unexpected case causes his suppressed emotions to reappear. Meanwhile, Detective Jong Suk receives a mysterious message sent from a friend from 20 years ago which reminds him of the school violence that took place back then. Chasing the mysterious message, he tries to put a stop to the murders.》
So now we know that the curse has to do with their desires and the woman who turned into a womb desired for her dead baby. If that helps you try and determine the other various monsters and why they are what they are. I think some are a reach though even given this information.
"strangers from hell ". I highly recommend . K Drama Psychological horror and mystery It's one of those shows that makes you look for behind the scenes shots to see if the actors are actually sane
Please react to "Welcome to Waikiki" kdrama. You guys will definitely enjoy it! It's got great comedy. Enjoy your reactions btw! Always look forward to your vids!
