Our recording schedule is all wonky and behind because Appsro has the flu, but I plan to tell them to make a beeline for that ship in next week's episode. We're usually one recording ahead of the episodes, but since we've lost our buffer any tips you drop today might help direct us for next week! ("Us" meaning Appsro and Neebs while I kinda mill about behind them and interject direction every now and then... spectating in a spectatorless game is pretty low-stress.)

Here's my Top 10 Tips for you guys: 1) Fibrous leaves (palm saplings and yucca plants) respawn every 2 in-game days. You can use them for fuel in both the water collector and campfire to reduce your consumption of sticks and fronds, which do not respawn. 2) 10-2 rule: If you eat more than 2 coconut halves/drink more than 2 coconuts in a row, you'll get sick. To avoid this, eat 2 halves/drink 2 coconuts, bring up your watch and then wait 10 seconds. You can then eat/drink 2 more. Repeat as necessary to manage your food/drink bars when water/meat is scarce. 3) Throwing spears at giant crabs will result in them breaking. Don't do it. If you practice the timing, you can easily just stab them to death with a spear as you walk backwards w/o them hitting you. 4) To conserve meat, don't skin your kills until your ready to eat. The corpses don't spoil or despawn. 5) You can place a smoker on top of a hobo stove. You don't need to have them separate. 6) You can craft resources into piles, so they're not just laying all over. Put one of the resources in your hand, then open your quickcraft menu. Select the pile and place it like any other structure. Now, you can add resources to that pile (up to 50) instead of just dropping them on the ground. The following resources can be crafted into piles: fibrous leaves, rocks, sticks, logs, fronds, lashings, coconuts (both regular and drinkable), and clay. Also, you can craft items from these piles in your quickmenu w/o having to put them in your inventory (as long as they're in range). 7) Craft a belt, These had hotkey slots you can put items in that are separate from your inventory, giving you more space. 8) Speaking of more space, utilize wood crates when going on resource runs. Each crate has 5 slots but the crate itself only takes up 1 slot in your inventory. Just throw the crate on the ground, fill it up with items, then pick it back up. Items do stack (up to 4 in each slot) inside of a crate. 9) Build a crop plot or two to grow pipi plants as soon as you can. Nothing worse than getting poisoned and then trying to find a pipi plant to craft an antidote. Don't forget to put a water collector nearby so you can water your plants easier. 10) Sharks kicking your ass while diving at wrecks? When you see them coming, push up against the side of the wreck. This seems to break their attack AI. You can also use this trick to your advantage when hunting them, since they'll just ignore you as long as your pressed up against the wreck (bring at least 15 crude spears).

I'm really liking this series so far. It's nice when the game is fresh and the guys really don't know what to expect. It kinda forces them to slow down a bit and try to be better prepared. Also I think the dialog between the guys is better as well.

I love hearing friends have fun and argue over playing videogames together, while I work. It just brings a smile to my face....ha

The grouper are a great source of food that take really no resourses to get. 1 hit with any spear and you have an easy meal for the both of you. Also those air tanks are great for the bigger wrecks to stay down longer and also the main ingredient in making the spear gun which is a must have to easily defeat the bosses. You keep the spears longer when you melee with it instead of throwing them. Hopefully you guys are seeing these tips ive been leaving.

OMG this is so fun to watch, Apsro and Neebs are like the odd couple. I can imagine Thick being on one of the islands and the guys driving him nuts playing Jimmy Buffet songs lol

Apsro and neebs really make it a very entertaining couple to watch, I love all the gang but the two of them being couple and especially Apsro playing the female is hilarious, you can add a child Simon in the mix but that will just make their lives more difficult, not fair.. thank you for the laughs

This is by far my favorite series since the first subnautica series. Just so damn funny and you and neebs really work well together in a funny bantering way. stuff can be made into piles to make everything neat like sticks, palms, ect. farm sooner than later, they let you grow multiple yukka for rope and pipi as well as potatoes for later. plants self sustain pretty easy after a rain or two, use still water in a coconut to water them however if you go too far rain will stop on them and they will die after a while. use coconuts as buffers for water from the still and also smoke ALL your meat, it never spoils ever for storage. a decent raft with a rudder and sail with some container shelves and containers let you take them with you on it as well as an anchor {Raft anchors dont have depth requirements either. clay can be found under water for brick stuff later. finally the more you both craft and kill increases your stats for it so make a nice house to get crafting up faster for better builds. oh, upgrade the spears to refined as they are powerful, I dont suggest throwing em because you could lose them.
