In season 1, Allison rumored her husband into loving her and was rumoring her kid into behaving how she wanted her to and her husband caught her doing it. That's when she realized that she'd gone too far. I think that she's afraid that once she starts using her power again, she'll give in to the temptation to use it for the wrong reasons, like she used to.
i’m team rumor too, but you guys have to understand that a main part of allison’s story is the constant moral battle she’s at with deciding to use her power or not, because it does take a toll on her conscience. which is why currently in the 60’s, she’s trying to live her life and accomplish things on her own the “natural” way.
I think Klaus is regarded as a prophet due to his powers. He can probably talk to peoples dead loved ones and also like you said ‘predict’ things that will happen
i know this reaction is 3 months old, but fun fact: in real life there actually was a man w/ a black umbrella on the sidewalk when jfk was killed even tho it was sunny out. it was a huge conspiracy theory where ppl thought he was a second shooter, but the man came forward & said it was part of a protest where umbrellas were used as a symbol of protest. i thought it was cool the incorporated that history fact into fiction 😊
I thought the same thing about how Reginald knew to adopt them. But it doesn't really work. In this show, time travel can actually alter the timeline, unlike how some shows/movies/books use a closed-loop, bootstrap paradox rule where you can't actually alter anything because like they say on Lost "whatever happened, happened." When they went back in time, history was set in one way. But they altered it. There was going to be an apocalypse in 1963 that wasn't a part of the timeline before they traveled back. So this is the first time they've met Reginald in the '60s, it was never a part of their history. Now, that doesn't mean he didn't find out on some other occasion in the future, but prior to their birth through some other time traveler.
This episode is kinda a slow one imo like now after this it ramps up more I’m enjoying these reactions I get what you guys are saying about Alison should use her powers on the cops but like then again there wanting to advance the movement as Raymond says with honour and dignity I can Understand both approaches tho
for diego in the hospital part, i believe five said why were u in front of oswald’s house with knives. Which i believe is the guy who killed jfk and he said he was going to kill jfk so they locked him in a mental hospital.
We see the dad Reginald in season1 finale arriving in what is possibly Ellis Island, and we see the Umbrella Academy building. It looked like early 1900’s. It wasn’t Dallas in the 60’s lol
I’ve watched over 40 reactor channels do Umbrella Academy season 2 and only men say they think Vanya is faking her memory problems. Not one woman was suspicious.
@@lexie2984 because you’re trying to be smart with me but you’re not smart enough to have reading comprehension and see that I said not one woman reactor doubted her.
I had to comment regarding the “how did Diego get committed? Based on what records?” Assuming he doesn’t exist yet in that timeline… Well, based on what I’ve learned from @UnsolvedMysteries from the 90s, with stories going back to the 30s and whatnot, identity theft or just creating a new one altogether was SO easy! Among many stories, I’ve seen a guy getting married under a false identity without social security identification, then later on when retiring decided to flea cause he couldn’t present the documents to apply W T F 😂 So, in this particular bit, not so crazy they could live a regular life after they materialized outta think air… 😅
I was instantly suspicious of Lila because I've met such pretentious people irl who claims to be a "lonewolf" yet clings and tries to group or hang out with me every chance they get using the excuse "we make a great team". i'm guessing they just like the sound or think it's cool to call themselves a "lonewolf" even if what they truly are are clingers who desperately need to rely on others because they're pathetic alone. Lila here at least contributes and is reliable so she's ok but it's still suspicious to claim to be a lonewolf yet force yourself upon a legit lonewolf who explicitly said your company is neither wanted nor needed.
