The most disturbing thing about Golbez coming in is.... he is reknowned for having a Shadow Dragon minion. I am super worried for Azdaja.

Especially given her name... If I was remembering correctly, it's a derivative form of the name of a major figure in Zoroastrianism/Persian mythology that's usually antagonistic.

Even though Zenos is confirmed to not be there anymore, i wouldnt mind him coming back, lol. Im one of the people who liked his character. The same with Emet and Hythlo, even though i know it probably wont happen, im just hoping! Let a girl dream 😂😂

Yes, I loved the Ancients, the Ascians and the depth put on the Hydaelyn-Zodiark saga... But now it's time for THE REAL ONES God, I miss big baddies in cool armor doing evil shit cuz darkness

Same. Complex, relatable villains with understandable motives are cool and all, but sometimes you just need a tall, dark and brooding baddie to spice things up.

Yup! And with Zenos confirmed 100% dead by Yoshi P and Ishikawa it makes sense the avatar would return to the 13th.

@@ryokophreak I'm not sure if you're just memeing but no Zenos's STORY is over. His aether is literally outside of time and space (Yoshi's own words)

The INSTANT I recognized the music I knew, even before he appeared. It's called 'Somewhere In The World' and is a harbinger of Golbez, Clad In The Dark

FFIV also has a different set of 4 elemental fiends: Rubicante, Scarmiglione, Cagnazzo, and Barbariccia. They're definitely those 4 elemental spears we saw, and perhaps they'll be the other 4 EX trials we get this expansion? Though perhaps they'll come into play later.

@@corvoattano8567 Oh for sure but I have a feeling since Y’shtola is taking lead on the story it might be an indication that casters, specifically Black mage will be “the job” they showcase in the next expansion. Idk maybe hopeful wishing but I really enjoyed the MSQ this patch and really feel Black mage is getting more love/attention.

Same! I saw it and I said planar fissure before it even came up xD. I wish my char had extra dialogue options for it though since BLM story has to deal with these.
