Hey Tina Heard! And yes I have washed the unit a couple of times. I suggest you cowash this hair instead using shampoo. Shampoo is too harsh

Its actually holding up fairly well, I will say the back gets a little tangled more than anything, but I've been wearing it for about a month and still get alot of compliments. Minimal shedding which is surprising for this type of unit. You just have to take good care of it. I haven't washed it yet but I might do an update video of how it acts after I wash it. I flat iron it alot tho and it's still good

Hey and no it didnt have a smell and the color was like 1b so it wasn't jet black, but it still blended very nicely with my natural hair which is jet black. I actually wore it straight out of the box, hopefully this answers your question!

Also I would just say you have to take good care of it and you will be fine, I've had it over a month and it's still holding up great compared to kinky straight hair I've had in the past, just some tangling in the back but I can deal with that

The cap fit just fine on my head... it wasn't too tight, it's a little big if u have your hair braided really flat and you make a side part

@@arielwade9762 thanks for the tip. I ordered it last night...have you tried curling it or a braid out ? Sum users say it doesn't hold. Wondering your input

@@Empr3ss_P I wand curled it and it had a decent hold, I had to use hairspray and pin the curl before it cooled, I haven't tried using a regular curl.. the wand curl lasted like 8 hours

Yes you can straighten it you just have to use small sections

@@Workin_on_me yes I still wear it off and on and when the back tangles it's easy for me to untangle it, I just brush it off, it only sheds when I detangle it that's about it

Hi so I received mine in the mail today its a brown color with light brown highlights what do I do with that! did yours ship from China?

@@Workin_on_me I'm not quite sure where mine shipped from but my unit was like a 1b color which was a little lighter than my natural hair color, u can always dye it jet black if u want to but the color difference wasn't a big deal to me
