Is the $69 NewBright Bigfoot any good? 

I got this beast for $23 at Walmart and it’s so darn cool!!! My old man had one very similar with a 360 in it and I just loved going out plowing with my dad in it. Amazing toy

That thing is cheap. But it's better than what we had when we were kids. My first truck could only steer when in reverse. Remember those? Yeah. 😂

With the price of a Traxxas Bigfoot body the truck is worth it just for that

I can't believe how excited you are over this truck. I'm sure you'll be changing stuff out because ... well ... you can. Always a pleasure watching your videos. Often time you're showing cars and truck that are beyond my budget but it always an exciting time. Great little truck for sure. The only down side is the way the wheels are mounted. It just looks like Philips head screws holding them in. Still it's a super cool truck and perfect for kids.

Sum times i think we forget that it doesn't have to be a 1k xmaxx or 400$ arrma to have fun with a rc.

I bought one for my 5 year old son from Walmart, it was faster than I thought it would be! You can buy an extended warranty on it for a couple bucks xtra, I didn’t purchase one! My son did manage to break the steering hub on driver’s side, I couldn’t find replacement parts for it, so I called New Bright about it breaking, the guy was helpful, he said email me a picture of the parts broke, he sent to me, I received them in a couple days without any cost to me. It’s definitely not like Traxxas or Logi stuff, but it’s cool. Keep us informed on your mods

This truck need upgrade change the motor drive and put one but strong and put micro servo and last thing change the tyres ..this original tyres from phome you need rubber ...nice vid dude thx

The only problem with this Bigfoot is that it needs a higher capacity battery. Ours runs out in 5 minutes or so. I need to take it apart and see if I can replace the original battery with a better one.

Bought one of these for the kids . Worked great battery died . Charged it and then the engine and the steering quit working.

I always think about getting one when I'm at that store but I don't think I'll be able to make it faster or stronger but evin for the body i still might

I ran across the snakebite version the other day. Looks like a different platform maybe. I felt the tires and they were rubber like tho.

I've owned my share of toy grade RCs not bad for the kids that lose interest in a couple months or so but for me I killed so many cheap RCs as a kid was so happy when I finally got a traxxas stampede Many years ago, my biggest issues with toy grade is usually can't fix them and Many are overpriced these days you can snag a cheap Amazon rc car that can actually be fixed or modified

Isn't there issues with a lot of the steering on the new brights? I just bought a $40 new bright 1/15 crawler. I'm interested to see how it does

I have this truck wounding if it’s possible to swap the axles out and I’m planning on swapping the wheels those wheels don’t last long they start to break down when on pavement and going over things I believe plus is it possible to swap the whole circuit board to a different chassis

That’s actually pretty badass. I’ve kinda always laughed at New Bright because aside from them being able to get the licensing for real trucks, they’ve just always been garbage compared to the toy grade shit I grew up with like Tyco and Nikko. The New Bright radios are just some of the most embarrassing junk, and the turning radius on most of them is just horrendous. Surprisingly this Bigfoot is definitely a step up from what I’ve seen from them over the years. I understand these are basically toys for kids, but why did we have better toy grade RC’s in the 90’s? I guess the easy answer is now you can go get a pretty decent entry level hobby grade RC for what we paid for a toy grade RC back in the day. Man… the hobby has changed so much, and for the better obviously. I just can’t help but find myself confused about the gap of toy grade RC’s over the years. 🤷‍♂️

What scale is the body?

There were several of these as well as the Snakebite New Bright trucks at the last Bigfoot Open House. They had them so the kids to play around on a little course they had set up in the shop. I'm a huge Bigfoot guy, but can't justify the $70 price tag for it to sit on my shelf. :) Hopefully they will go on clearance at some point.

Its slow but its fine I would say getting a chinese hobby rc would be good I mean new bright isnt bad but their quality like bro i bought couple of them and the motor would die first being the fact that they mount small motors And thats what makes me mad because when i was young i my parents bought me one for sixty bucks i played with it and the motor DIED my parents literally thought i was doing something weird like touching the electronics and they thought i would destroyy them with my hands and that made me sad since they woudnt believe me that ive been using it very carefully. i spent another forty and the same incidence happened now since im 16 i usually drive an mt rival10 and an outcast but ill will stil miss the times i had with new bright but im still disappointed how bad the quality is thats my review. Thx
