This actual car used to be mine. Traded it just before this video was recorded. My wife got pregnant a week after I bought it. Nice to have a video of it for the memories.
Believe it or not, I think this is my first video seeing Joe in a Ferrari. Rising up the ranks, my man 😂👍🏻 As always, great video, Joe! Amazing work 👌🏼
A friend of mine has this car. It’s super fun. Though you can feel how old, outdated, and slow it is compared to current Ferrari’s, it’s still a great car.
One of the best days of my life is when my neighbor called me and asked me to go to Cars and Coffee with him in 2013. We had gone to many before, and still occasionally now. That day though, his buddy, who I had never met previously, also wanted to go and bring BOTH of his Ferraris. He wanted my buddy to drive one. So I got to ride (only unfortunately) in his brand new 2013 California hardtop convertible on the way there, and then his 2012 458 Italia on the way back. They were both red, and the only moment in my life I truly felt like a rock star. My favorite Ferrari of all time is the F355, followed closely by the 458 Italia, and the Portofino. Thanks for letting us share in your special moment. That F430 was completely awesome.
@@RaitisRides It was so much fun, and what's crazy, is that you get to live that pretty much every single day Joe. Thanks for bringing all of us with you.
That's exactly how it sounds live ! Great recording even with the top down. The description of the shifts is great and the kick you get is brutal. A lot of fun. Only complaint is an incorrect fact @ 7:20. The car is a 6 speed single clutch, not 7 speed dual clutch.
Definitely felt like i was along for the ride on this one! Great vid and review... i was afraid you were just gonna baby it out on the road, but you did not disappoint. 😎👍
Joe that is one of the most beautiful cars around I remember when they announced it. I was blown away and could not wait to see one in person and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s my second favorite Ferrari, the F355 is my favorite. I tried to buy one a 2008 model, they wanted $20,000 over sticker. I was mad to say the least. I stormed out of the dealership and never came back for about 7-10 years. I really loved this video and still love the car and see them around Chicagoland to this day it still makes me happy to see one. Today is my birthday so I consider this a Birthday Present so thank you Joe👍👍👍PS I am Italian too, I think we have some strange love of cars and who wouldn’t want a Ferrari👍👍👍
I still have my F-430 Spider... Due to factory OEM manifold crack issues, I changed the headers to Fabspeed sports headers with blanket and put an S-Line exhaust... It is a beast and sounds awesome that current turbo models can't get closer... I am keeping it forever where searching for the other right one. Declined 488 as I wanted to see how Ferrari will develop turbo cars. Love the NA engine and designed by Pinin Farina...
My buddy has a Ferrari F1 F430 spyder. Classic Rossa Corsa Red of course. Driven it and a F430 Berlinetta F1 Coupe. Fun cars. My garage goal is a new Ferrari Roma.
Had a red 89 Toyota MR2 Spyder. Mid engine 5 speed t-top "baby ferrari". Not crazy powerful but man, that car looked and handled like a dream...oh ya, it was red
Enzo Raiti when are you going to review a Pagani Zonda? This Ferrari is the perfect Florida car. I think this shade of blue looks very cool. Sure fire engine red would be better but... 👍 on throttle - Yeah!!! 😃
Did I miss something? "Is the 2005 Ferrari F430 Spider an AFFORDABLE super car?" Uhhhh IS IT? You didn't say anything that refers to whether or not its affordable!!!
Price depends on how well kept it is and how many miles it has. Prices range from 110k to roughly 230k give or take. 15 years old but usually people don't put a lot of miles on these type of cars.
This is the type of car you’d buy and look for excuses to drive it.. ie “The Camry needs brakes, we’re out of nutmeg I’ll run and get it.” Just to name a few..
Hell Yeah! This Ferrari would get far more stares than any Porsche I can think of. The sound of that powerplant as it screams to the redline is enough to wake the dead.
It’s true. I’ve got a red 360 spider. The attention it gets is unbelievable. From the moment you pull it out of the garage till you put it away, it’s constant. People talk to you, point at you, follow you and video from behind. If you stop and park, someone will come up and talk to you. Porsche’s don’t really get that. Maybe if you had a Carrera GT
Joe congratulations again u get to drive all the super cars. U so lucky! Joe high on speed. He gets intoxicated from speed and sounds. That’s awesome! 👍💯🏆video🏆💯👍
Even if I was rich I don't know if I would buy a Ferrari Lamborghini Porsche those cars are so expensive to fix I have a friend that picks up exotic cars and takes them in for Servicing with his rig 1 guy had a Bugatti & it was $125,000 for the service! It needed 1 of the 4 turbos replaced a new radiator oil change spark plugs & a set of tires... 125k it was fixed & 4 me no thank you
If you are rich, you have your toys, which could be companies, islands, planes, jets, cars, etc. Even the rich people can't have it all, but they can have at least one of those things. If they are into cars, $1M on maintaining their cars annually is not that much. A medium size private jet costs more per year to maintain. Really, these are different orders of magnitude money.
C8 Corvette is coming to give these used exotics a run for the money. Someone released a spy video of the flat plane v8 in the Z06 going down the road somewhere and all I can say is game over on a lot of these exotics
@@antoniocalimero1173 jet Jay Leno thinks it's one of the greatest cars ever amongst his collection of half a billion dollar cars. Value wise its untouched by any car and the newest ones is car of the year
Not if you asked Scotty Kilmore. He has no agenda and said even the older Corvette with the ls1 v8 was tried and true good cars. Now Ferrari dependability he calls them endless money pits but hey what do you expect from a mechanic. I'll take the Corvette. I'll even take a Shelby Mustang and Dodge Viper before this. I do love the vintage Ferrari Testarosa and classic cars over the newer ones
I admire how you go into the history of a car, regardless of how new it is, or a timeless classic... You, cover it all, and tell a great story, with your presentation. "Frunk"? Perfect! Even in Blue, that'll set you apart from the rest, from the red traditionalists. Tan interior is definitely traditional. Use the ashtray for mint toothpicks, or toll road change. Second time? Must mean, the Third time, will be the charm, and you'll own one! I'd die laughing if their was a traffic cop in the, twisty parts, waiting for you...
