The Audi RS5 has really been improved upon. Under the hood is a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 pumping out 444 HP & mated to an 8speed automatic. On the inside the fit and finish is top notch. The driver is surrounded by carbon fiber and Audi's virtual cockpit technology. Is the 2019 Audi RS5 the ULtIMATE GT performance car?

Audi's design language is fantastic. They really nailed the proportions. Not normally into flashy directional wheel designs but these ones look awesome and suit the car nicely

Incredible incredible incredible incredible review of the 2019 Audi RS5 Coupe it's an absolutely hands down to the ground beasty beast of a car. The steering wheel size is the exact same in the RS3! Although I much prefer the alcantara on the RS3 wheel over all leather.

I would NEVER I repeat NEVER spend $100k for a rs5. What is Audi problem. My AMG cost $152k and it's a supercar. Audi lost me as a customer years ago.

I use to own Audi's, my last Audi I own was a s8 4.0tt, yes it was fairly quick but it was so numb that it didn't feel alive. Never again with Audi my friend. I also drive my AMG's on the weekend, how do you like the bmw?

Dude that's literally 150% of the price of this car. 52k gets you a lot. And the numbers this thing puts out is no slouch. With options that price is not out of the ordinary for the segment..

@@b_nast19 I repeat, I would never shell out $100k for a rs5. The car start at $69,900, you start adding simple options such as the Black optic carbon package $5,500 and RS Driver assistance package $3,700 and Dynamic plus package $5,800, that is only 3 options that I feel should come with the car and you're already close to $85,000. Their is much more options that will have you looking at a $100k car, well I dont know about you but me being an ex Audi customer, I can tell you that you're better off letting someone else take the depreciation hit and buy it second hand in a few years at 35% of the car's worth.

I wish you could get this car with quad tip exhaust like on the s5. I don't like those 2 oval exhaust pipes they look ugly. I also like the s5s diamond pattern leather seats better. The rs5 has that hexagonal pattern and it looks like snake scales tbh. I dont like them. Also no all red seats? Just black with red stitching? Fix those 2 things and this would be the perfect car. If I got this I would swap the exhaust to quad tip asap

Great car, but those paddle shifters are a poor substitute for a proper manual. So sad that all these great cars now only come with 200 speed automatics. It's like dating a supermodel but never getting to sleep with her.

If you live in Florida or California - m4 comp (I have m3 comp) cuz it’s just meaner, crazier and a little more in your face (the width of that booty is something the rs5 cannot compete with lol) If you live elsewhere where winter does suck a little, rs5 all day (but I will wait until the new infotainment gets put into the rs5 - the current one is very nice but slightly dated ).

Cheap looking calipers on many of the fast versions compared to the competition, atleast this one has brembos and lags behind when it comes to nice, however maintenance cost and reliability

If you're wondering why it's 2.9L and not 3L, it's because of China. More displacement means more tax. So under 3L is more appealing to consumers.

Usually that means 2998 cm/3 engine displacement. The same tax regime applies in many European countries and race series

@@RaitisRides it is a great car, but for that price, there is something more better to get. If its speed and power, there's the GT500 that's more better for that price, even the Corvette C8 LT3 with ZR1 package. If its luxury, the Aviator has more of it by far for that price.
