It’s been a while joe and but man has your channel grown fast, and man your still managing to get ahold of all the sweetest cars. Love your channel man
Looks better without the hood stripe but definitely needs the scoop. The side stripe should have the Mach 1 at the rear of the stripe since the fender badge is already at the front. Thanks for sharing it Joe! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
@@jameshorton7496 Yes I know, but with the fender badge above it , it’s redundant. It doesn’t have to be like the original. Lots of it is not. Leave it like it is but remove the fender badge then.
23:00 is why I love this channel and respect this guy's enthusiasm for cars....this should be kept in a museum for when the are no more v8 manual muscle cars and we can tell our children.....
I’m 25 and I just special ordered a fully loaded Mach 1, it has the tremec 6 speed, recaros, and the handling package, it should be here in early July and I can’t wait, it’s gonna be a huge upgrade to my 2017 Mustang GT with performance pack.
It's OK. Definitely not Phenomenal. I was going to get a GT350 in that color but when I went to see it in person I ended up going with kona blue. I love that deep metallic color.
I would lose the “mach 1” within the yellow stripes (it is redundant). This pony DOES need that shaker hood scoop (it’s iconic). Awesome exhaust note (very throaty). Great job Lori, excellent camera work. Joe, you are the best!
WOW! brings back memories! Back in 1976, before I even had my drivers license, I bought a 1969 Acapulco blue Mach 1. I sure miss that thing! Love those cars!
@@RaitisRides I am torn between Fighter Jet Grey & Velocity Blue. Getting ready to order my Mach 1 with handling pack & a whipple supercharger. I might get the Cervini GT 500 hood for heat extraction. Joe keep doing what you're doing. I love your channel. I feel your passion brother.
Joe thank you for bringing all your car knowledge to all of us fans! I am partial to the mustangs so I really appreciate the small details and differences you point out from the different models and years.
He says I’m not showing you the back seat I’m not showing you the trunk if you’re ready I’m ready for some on throttle action! No better statement on RU-vid! Love it Awesome reviews keep up the awesome work!!!
GREAT VIDEO!!!!!! I would DEFINITELY debadge the mach1 from the factory.... and no stripe on the hood I can’t WAIT to see what Dream Giveaway Garage has in store for that car!!! She sounded AMAZING!!!!!!
LOVE this! About the old Ford 4-speed; had a new EXP with the 4-speed. You'd think with a whole new car, Ford would have fixed that 2-3 shift, but no. You can walk Dillinger around the block before you hit 3rd. Lori, thank you for all you do! Love the shots you get!
We just got a Mach 1 for my wife last Friday. We traded in our 2019 BULLITT. Although my wife liked driving a manual she enjoys the 10 speed automatic in the Mach 1 . I enjoy your videos especially on the Mustang reviews.
i have mach 1 in jet gray, traded my 2018 gt for it. although i still miss my gt, mach overall better interior lot more bigger than i expected, the power is incredible
Hey Joe. I just watched the dream give away mach1 episode. I love the strip delete and it's a great shade of blue. I think the car looks great without the shaker scoop. Laurie you did a great job of filming the episode! Keep up the great work guy's !
The Forge gold wheels are gonna pop next to that velocity blue. Love the fog lamps. I miss the shaker hood though. That would be the cherry on top! I also think blue stitching on the interior would have been a nice touch. Love your Mach 1 badge on the horn idea!!!
I have a Mach 1. So much fun to drive! Planned on a gt350, but too many blown engines. Called Charlotte and was told that the Mach 1 driving school will begin later this year.
Nothing like old school Mustang and like the old school terminology. Growing up with Cadillacs in the late 70s and 80’s. We use to say 425 CU for the Coupe Deville And 500CU for the Eldorado. It Sounded huge but it was just 195 hp.
And yeah I really think that mustang is a real muscle car that most of person include me love the sound of it and how fast is it so it is just incredible car 😊
I love this car so much, hands down my favorite mustang. Now I like the hood it has now the the Mach 1 decal. I’m not too impressed with the shaker hood on these body styles now the 2004 Mach 1 I like the hood very much. But I can’t wait to see the complete build of this car
Great Review, Great Car!! Reminds me of the Best car chase scene ever.... 1974 Gone in 60 Seconds... the original & Best with that 1973 Mustang, puts the movie Bullitt in second place!!
My buddy got a Mach 1 with carbon fiber wheels and drag slicks. Weird...my buddies also has Brembos all around... his Mach 1 came with more upgrades than this one. All factory even the drag slicks
Loved the review Joe, as always. Other than the Tremec gear box, and other minor things, for the price point I'd still choose my '19 GT PP1 M6, with cooled seats, and virtually the identical options as the Mach. Love the velocity blue color though, it just pops! Keep up the great work Joe and Lori!! Cheers from Canada!
The only gripe I ve is that this should ve been the regular Mustang. The Manual being Tremec. The Mach1 should ve been a special engine say a 5.2l Cross Plane V8 making around 500 hp and 430 ft pounds torque. Still a very good move from Ford from an economic stand point of view
Best, most practical Mustang built yet. I wish this had been released earlier, especially w/this transmission, as I wouldn't have purchased my '19 Bullitt. The Mach 1 has been on my list of Stangs to own as it's one of the only versions I haven't owned yet. Now I guess I'll just wait until I either win this one in the Dream Giveaway contest or some owner decides to sell their garage queen in 4-5 years. Either way, it'll be a win-win... for me.
Love this review and video. Can you do more reviews with the GT and show how easy it is to spin the wheels? Compared to the scatpacks and hellcats... love it. keep up the amazing work 🙏❤🇺🇲
Mustang V8, RWD, with a stick 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 - and that exhaust note...Nuff said!! Can’t wait to see that Shaker hood ❤️. The Mach 1 should have it from the factory. That gold stripe down the side with the blue 🤢. Should have been gray. And yes, get rid of the factory badging. Thanks Joe for a top notch review...and a tip of the 🎩 to Lori!
I really like the yellow stripe along the body and back. And I really don't mind there being two 'Mach 1' badges... However, it's the different fonts that's a bit of a head scratcher. Not in a bad way but it does make you stop and do a double-take.
I've actually had 3 Mustangs and have been wanting to get a scat pack for like forever. I now can thanks to higher trade in values, but can't decide on a trim for sure. If I were to stay with a stang, it would be a mach 1. I just wish they were not so pricey. But then again I'm considering a WB shaker that is in the high 50's so a mach 1 with a few options should be in the same ballpark. Except for the fact I can order one under invoice plus 2k incentive. What is Ford offering at the moment? nada. At least as far as I know.
another great video Raiti. love you sense of humour . i hear you keep saying how the GT350 and GT350R are superior to the 5.0 no matter what shape or form it comes in. i'm sure it is on the track and for the thrill of hearing that 5.2 rev up to 8300 rpm. unfortunately we don't get that car here in NZ ,in RHD ,so we just have to make due with the Mach 1.
Lack of rear Brembo calipers (I expected 4-pot at least) is a potential deal breaker. Also the Recaros are an overkill which also explains the lack of heated/ventilated capabilities...... Meanwhile no problem with the center stack. 8" screen is more than suffice; a more stable system firmware is more crucial. Retention of ODD is appropriate as well......
I prefer it without the shaker hood scoop. I was around since the last Mach 1 and it worked for it but not this one. Kinda tired of hearing the lack of hood scoop complaints. The Tremec transmission is all that is needed. Laurie is also needed, thank you for such amazing work!
My first car was a 1969 Cougar Eliminator but I always preferred the interior of the Mach 1 with its C2 Corvette inspired dash. And the '69 dash still looks better than this new one, but the rest of the car is quite nice, the performance seems good, and yes it needs the Shaker hood. The sound is excellent but Ford V8s have always sounded great (you should hear my Pantera's ferocious growl). And finally, the fact that you can still get a manual shifter is to Ford's great credit as the vast majority of sales will be the auto and most automakers including the supercar ones have done away with manuals altogether. Good review of a very good car.
