Not a fan of all the touchscreen controls, I fell like they should differentiate themselves from Tesla by having more physical buttons. Other than that though yes outstanding interior
The Benz may seem more Luxurious, but if you actually compared stats, the Tesla is far and away better than this car. This car is at least 5 years behind Tesla Model S.
@@PamphileJonathan acknowledgement of a true fact isn’t the same thing as hate. You can admit Teslas have build quality issues and others due to Musk’s cutting corners and rationalizing with LIDAR, without it being a hate thing. Tesla helped push things forward by competition but that doesn’t make them the best at everything. If you want experimental, cutting-edge cool features that work for the most part but you can’t rely on, and you’re responsible for any accidents by using them, get a Tesla. If you want something more refined, comfortable and safer, get a Mercedes.
@footballcoreano that is straight up an opinion lmfaooooo I know mad people with Teslas and I’ve been in one no one has ever said Tesla is uncomfortable 😭😭😭
Performance, range, drivetrain tech, styling, NO the EQS is not better. Quality, interior comfort, ride comfort, interior design yes the Benz is worlds better.
@@mohammedawadud7238 edmunds has just published a real-world range test: 422 miles for the EQS 450+, 20% more than the EPA claim. So far, not a single Tesla has been able to match the EPA specs in their test, the best being still 2.9% below. So even the Model S Long Range Plus with its claimed 402 miles is unlikely to beat the EQS; the Model S Plaid managed 348 miles in the same test. No current Tesla beats the EQS in range.
Parker, your interior and feature reviews are so good. Plus, the EQS is such a feature loaded car, it needs someone like you to review. I hope you get to review some other cars too. Awesome to see great content on the channel.
Many people don't know that Mercedes partnered with Tesla from 2013-2017 making an electric vehicle called the Mercedes Benz B-class with a Tesla Battery. I drive one of those limited production cars and I am excited to be the owner of a Mercedes EQS soon!
Next...comparing Mercedes S class to overprice supercar and hypercar. I'm pretty sure S class will win everything except for the performance. :D There's nothing perfect in this world, neither is a car. So...buy the car that most suited for your need and wallet.
The EQS blows Tesla away, no disrespect to Tesla. Folks that disagree just aren't familiar with the automotive industry. They just need the education on what the product really is.
Mercedes dominated! Wait until their AMG Electrics come out. The Mercedes GT63S E Performance is 835+HP and it's 2019 Predecessor Mercedes GT63S with only 627+HP is still the Nurburgring Fastest Production Sedan. Not to mention Mercedes broke the number one overall fastest production car lap record with the Mercedes GT Black Series (a rear drive front engine 720 horsepower car) 🤣👍🏆🥇🏆
Plaid crushes it man. I race them daily. It's not even close. The hybrid one will get crushed too. They are too far behind. They go slower and cost more. Also...its a mercedes...yuck.
@@MusclesAVS Plaid can not touch the Germans on track lap times. But straight line I've seen modded Honda Civics do 1.6 second 1/4 miles. Mercedes who invented 1st car & motorcycle, won the last 7 Formula 1 Championships in a row, broke lap records on many tracks with their AMG GT & Sedans. Keep dreaming in your delusion 🤣👍
JEEP has the passenger display in the GRAND CHEROKEE and the WAGONEER only they are doing it all for HALF THE DAMN COST. Heated/Ventilated/Massage seats, a 10" display and passenger display - as well as optional rear displays for the passengers. WHY PAY MORE?
@@Azspeedin Buicks aren’t really sold anywhere in Europe, at least western and Southern Europe. GM pretty much pulled out of Europe entirely after Opel and Vauxhall were sold to PSA (now Stellantis) and Chevrolet left in the early 2010s due to poor sales. Cadillac does still exist in some European markets but they have virtually no market share. I’ve never seen any Buicks that weren’t imported and up until 2017 their entire lineup was just badge engineered alongside Opel before they were sold off to Peugeot
I’ve test driven a model in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago. To me, it feels very nice…but the interior part I disagree…i feel like the interior is just like any other luxury car like Lexus, Genesis, BMW, or like Ram truck. Glassy is the word to describe it. I prefer minimalism of Tesla or McLaren (both share same minimalist design of “vegan” hypoallergenic interior). But that is subjective - EV is all about range and integration of technology. MB has a very solid start.
They need to ditch the pointless start stop button. Also need to move electric components to open up a frunk and for front collision safety. Pretty disappointing.
Nah. I loved the concept car but this thing looks like a fat Camry. You can't pop the hood to put in the fluid because MB won't let you! That's right - you are locked out of the car you overpaid for. Only a "trained MB technician" is allowed to open the hood and you'll pay dearly for that privilege. Lame.
I drive this as a cab driver... 12 hours and still hate to leave it. Its the best car i've ever driven ❤❤❤. Mercedes Please hook me up with one for private use 🎉😂
one of the things I would like in this car if the third scree, the one for passenger could be operated separately by passenger, so they could for example watch a movie or play a game
Lmao Tesla model S is cheaper and it’s still faster and does 0-60 in 1.4 secs unlike the EQS, only thing good about the EQS is the design and build quality. And the features are not as good as Tesla 😂
It's not even looks it's just how well built and thought out Mercedes cars actually are. Tesla just doesn't have as much experience and Mercedes has been making cars for almost 150 years
@@cobrachannel100 tech and software are subjective to what you want, the Merc has a more thought out infotainment. Also the higher trim eqs Mercedes coming out has longer range than any Tesla and 0-60 in 3.2. Tesla also is the opposite of innovative literally all car companies can do what they did but they wouldn't get away with a shoddy build like tesla
I love this! The one thing that’s always bugged me is the build quality of Tesla’s. Great review 👍👍. I wander where the future will take us. Battery or Hydrogen?
My 2017 Tesla model x has been opening and closing the door automatically since I got it. All model x’s have this feature. My wife loves it. Especially when her hands are full with groceries
Everyone says u can watch Netflix etc on the passenger screen, but no one shows it so I don’t believe it. Its so sad car manufacturers still don’t understand they need to add these features instead of a 3rd or 4rd navigation screen 😂
The materials inside and outside are do doubt Mercedes, but I'd gladly sacrifice som range for an S-Class like design. Raz Rehan from RemoveBeforeRace did a beautiful render of what this car could have looked like. This computer mouse silhouette is atrocious.
That elbow hitting those center controls when you interact with the big screen? Someone in UX department at Mercedes is getting fired. How can you get basic ergonomics so bad?
