@@2024CorvetteE-Ray That front camera on the 2LT or 2LZ is well worth the money considering the Corvette sits so low. The price to fix the front end after a mishap could easily cost $6000.00 just depending on the damage done from pulling in when parking. The other problem is I don't think the factory front camera can be added AFTER the purchase. Nice car by the way

HUD has always been a stablemate of Corvettes for awhile so I don't understand why that's not standard and included on the 1LT.

I understand what you are saying. But I didn't buy this car to sell it down the line, or look at what it would sell for down the line. I ordered to spec the way I like it, but I respect your point of view. Some car people do this. I do not. Everyone has that perfect car they have always wanted, and if you can get it...you have no thoughts of selling it. I don't personally don't care what it is worth to dealers, or sites that sell cars. As of now, I'm enjoying it. BUT, anything can happen, and I don't know what is down the road. If for some reason I do sell this car, I will get more than I paid for it. 2 things make it stand out. Color is in the top 5, and it's a 70th year model. That coupled with low miles, I will get all of my money back and then some. I guess based on your comments, you have a 2LT or 3LT, I say just enjoy the NOW tomorrow will take car of itself. #TeamCorvette

We have a 2023 3LT HTC Non Z51 with magnetic ride, performance exhaust, front lift, front splitter, rear spoiler, and several other cosmetic options. I am 75 years old and bought this with the thought of thoroughly enjoying it and we have.

I made sure did NOT have the spoiler. Everyone has a spoiler, including Civics and Hyundais... Be different, go without and keep the car looking more sleek and Euro... haha

I've sat in them all, and the GT1 seats are for people who are gonna drive longer distances or road trips but still want a little sportiness. The GT2 seats are very comfortable, and you are not as tall as I am 6'4. You will be happy with ANY of the seats more than likely, but the GT1 seats feel great for long drives. I have done 3 long trips, and they are nice.

People will always go out of their way to justify a purchase or future purchase. If J. Williams says he doesn't need 2LT or Z51......then he doesn't need 2LT or Z51......and he has a decent monthly car payment 😏

better resale value? yeah, but you paid more for it. options do not hold values on used cars. you will not recoup the total cost of all the extras. on ANY car.

That is a GREAT deal for this car for sure. Only reason I didn't get the HTC, is I wanted to see the engine.

I personally like the clean look of all black interior in the 1lt. Paying all that extra money to make it look like a disco ball makes no sense but to each their own.

@@2024CorvetteE-Ray there are several brands out now just Google them. Mine are a year old. They are a strip of lights connected to a small AA battery pack (3). Take off the strip on the sticky tape and line them about the trunk lid. I attached my battery pack to a strip of Velcro on the edge of my lid, just to the right of my trunk space and it fits well when closed, tho out of sight. Not one issue. Doesn’t overheat. I don’t drive at night much so my lights stay bright about 6 months. Even though the battery pack is out of view underneath the closed lid, the remote still works just fine. Now some kits even come with Bluetooth. Hope this helps! FYI Google c8 engine bay lighting kit. They range from 50-200 bucks.

Your friend crashed his car, not because of bad blind spots. He just crashed for not paying better attention. 😆 I respect your comment though, and yeah a lot comes with the 2LT. But luxury and other things are in the eyes of the beholder, this is a sports car. Not a luxury car. Far from it. What does your 2LT look like? Would love to see your build, thanks for watching.

@JWilliams I'm sure if the mirrors are adjusted right the car should be ok but nowhere near as safe with all the 2lt safety options. The corvette is built for luxury that's why it has mag ride opinions and a luxury car is luxury interior leather standard and luxury features is what defines a luxury car with a powerful motor so the c8 corvette is definitely a luxury super car. My c8 has a better ride and more comfortable then my Cadillac. The c8 is America's fighter against the European exotic cars its made with luxury and power especially the c8. Mine c8 is triple black hard top convertible, machine carbon painted rims z51, 2lt and carbon interior trim. The carbon interior trim is pricey but looks beautiful. For me the 2lt, z51 and htc with the machine carbon painted rims was a must. You are right tho it all depends on each person's wants, styles and budgets. The 3lt I definitely don't think it's worth it and I heard the same about the dashboard having bubbling problems being in the heat. So best would be 1lt or 2lt in my opinion.

Definitely about perception, because I too have a 2023 Cadillac. This is nowhere near the level of comfort, magride or not. In the end, we are both enjoying a nice C8 Corvette. #TeamCorvette 💯

Nope, this is sounding great to me. I've heard others, and yes they are louder. But I would only do it for performance if I did. But again, I don't NEED an exhaust this one is fine.
