Beautiful looking SUV, LETS see if it is as reliable as the former models.

You don't need a panoramic sunroof, but I do like the standard moonroof and how quiet it rides going by.

I love it! Even more than the new 4Runner, SEQUIA and Lexus GX. I’d go 1958 for price. That sunroof is all it needed.

I was able to snag a 2024 LC First Edition last month in the Traildust color and have zero complaints. The 2.4L inline turbo has plenty of torque and is so much faster than my previous GX460 with the sluggish V8. I finally have Toyota vehicle with up-to-date technology too. I had the option of the Land Cruiser or the 2024 Lexus GX, I went with the LC because quite frankly....it's more iconic and I want to be comfortable taking it off road. The safety features in this SUV are also over the top. Thank you Toyota for bringing this bad boy back to the states and doing a great job with classic box design. The First Edition comes with the iconic round headlights, which makes it look even better in my opinion. Thank you Raiti for reviewing this great vehicle!

I don’t understand why they couldn’t just call this the FJ cruiser. They took the Land Cruiser name and really cheapened the hell out of it with this 4 cylinder. A 4 cylinder pushing 5100 pounds+??. Not a good idea.

Joe, I like the way they raised both sides of the hood. When I think about there being no washer on the front camera, I think that it is a mistake because you're going to have a front camera that is going to be dirty all the time.

Just picked up a 24 4Runner to make sure I got one before the change. Wouldn't touch a new model Tundra, 4Runner, Taco or LC for at least 2-3 model years with all the "fun" people are having to deal with for the Taco and Tundra. No replacement for displacement.

Pretty sure that the front camera shuts off above a certain speed because the system can't process and render the video at speed in real time. But they will sell it as a safety feature. Most of my 4-wheeling is at single-digit speeds so no big deal.

I love that square styles are coming back. 1980s looks and styles are the future.

Base version has the only headlights that are worthy of the name. They really F'ed up the look of the higher models with those rectangular lights.

You didn't mention that it requires Premium fuel and that it has a limited payload. With s restriction of 160 pounds in the cargo area over the battery.

I think the 4Runner, with it's more aerodynamic design, can get an extra MPG with the Hybrid Max, taking it to 24 MPG combined

I love the big tail lights. But I'm giving a zonk to the headlights. To me, they are too tiny for such a bold vehicle. JMO.

Needs the panoramic for sure... Wish pilot would of made their new design more boxy like this... Would be a no brainier. Plus Pilots need to be more aggressive.. let me have the trailsport blue on all the trims and maybe even add a cherry red and a nice yellow color... We want cool offroading looking vehicles.

Nope to many what ifs with a hybrid system off road. What happen if the engine gets wet from a water crossing and what about the battery and its wiring underneath. My 4runner has been headlight deep before no problems after .

I am not impressed. It surprises me that all those immediately complaining about other brands using big screen displays don't even mention anything here, etc

When you were driving the Toyota Land cruiser, were you able to verify if the front camera can be enabled or turned on while you are going up? Say freeway speeds, or 35 mph? I asked because a lot of automotive bloggers show the camera images while the car is parked at 0 miles an hour. No one ever demonstrates the front camera working while the car is being driven.

Toyota is building beautiful vehicles. My current 2014 Camry Hybrid is still going strong @ 106K miles only, but in one to two years, I'll consider the new Tacoma or 4Runner for my next auto. Camry will be my backup vehicle. Keep up the great products, Toyota 👌🏾👍🏾

For 66K the prop rod and the exposed rear wiper are both major zonks for me...

Right now the Market is Flooded with Good Midsize SUV. Lexus, Toyota, Bronco,Hyundai ,Cadillac, Chevy Kia ....etc It's very Difficult to choose One but think i would pick this Land Rover or the Lexus because of the Reliability History and the Retro/New Looks is 🔥 🔥

The new Landscruiser has a lot of very cool features and gadgets. Which is best: 2024 Landscruiser, 2025 4Runner, or 2024 Lexus GX 550 Overtrain? I think I would go with the Lexus.

Aside from Cosmetics what really makes this better than a high trim 4runner? It's much taller than a runner and has less ground clearance.

Great new iteration of the venerable Land Cruiser. I don't think it needs a panoramic sunroof... this is a Land Cruiser! That makes me think "go anywhere". There are plenty of other luxury SUVs if you just want to ride the highways in comfort.

You should be able to more conveniently control that nice front camera.

Not sure what vehicles this Land Cruiser is competing with, since you can get the base Wrangler or Bronco for almost $20k less. That's a whole other cars worth of money. Then you have the 4Runner and Sequoia sandwiching this vehicle in terms of cost and features... Pretty weird lineup from Toyota. Seems like they're just competing with themselves at this point.

It’s way better looking than the new 4Runner It’s also a plus not to have TRD Pro tags every inch of the outside

With this headlight make bigger or make those fake vents as part of the turn signal. It does look like a baseball player's black tape right below their eyes.
