At the dealer I’m betting 85k. Now technically that’s not so bad because let’s say you buy the truck stock and pay for the mods, you would void warranty. Yet this truck will come with mods off the bat under warranty, not so bad.

This Trail hunter Tacoma looks way better than the TRD Pro! It is missing an anti-glare hood piece. I can't wait to see the full throttle review of this bad boy! Awesome job Joe and Lori!
They gotta make their top line looks much better than the rest otherwise nobody would wanna spend money on a similar look lol. With that being said, most car enthusiast would just get the lowest line up and mod them heavily anyway. This is for people like me that is too lazy to mod.
Personally I think the TRD Pro looks waaayyyy better than the trail hunter, but I love the off-road options on the trail hunter. I just hate the look of those side rack thingy's. Lol
Joe you on a roll! I think I can say that the mid size truck wars have officially begun. Now we just have to wait for Ram to bring back the Dakota and for Honda to redesign the Ridgeline.
The Ridgeline will always be a grandpa’s truck due to its unibody structure… unless Honda really wants to have a piece of the cake and starts building real trucks.
THIS IS THE UPGRADE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!! I’m really happy the upgraded the transmission, and that it got the upgraded engines! Can’t wait for this truck!!

Love that metallic green paint color. The hybrid motor is an incredible advantage. This truck will increase its market share in the midsize truck segment. For all the people predicting doom for Toyota, not any time soon! Absolutely despise the giant TOYOTA badge on the dash. How crass! I don't want to walk around as a commercial for Toyota.
Shame the back is still lack luster at the price this likely will be is a deal breaker a lot of families are getting these mid sized trucks for kids and occasionally needing an adult in the back the colorado still personally has more functionality for family use and the tail gate storage is really cool.
This gets my vote of truck of the year. Toyota is killing it with their new Tacos. I hope that pricing is reasonable but the name justifies it with their reliability and longevity. I'm super impressed with all the mid-sized pickups this year. I'm really excited for this.
In a year I will be definitely be trading in my 2018 Corolla for a new Tacoma. The Tundra is just too big for me this is a perfect size. I’m leaning toward the TRD Pro or this Trailhunter.
@heyitspete6472yments. Pay full upfront. That’s how I roll. I hate interest rates and monthly payments. Pay upfront for every single car I own and home. If I can’t afford it fully paid then I won’t buy it. That’s how I do my finances. Best change I’ve ever made in my finances. I don’t play around with credit cards either.

This Trailhunter is making me change my mind about getting a TRD Pro. It's more my speed anyway, I'm not about that high-speed offroading as much as I am just having offroad adventures.
OMG it looks sooo good! The color, the racks, the rim color all just blend beautiful together! My husband is buying a 2024 TRD Pro, off rip! The TrailHunter might be my first mid-sized pickup, though the Ranger Raptor has my attention. We'll see!
Joe I’ve been a Tacoma owner since my early 20s and I still have these great trucks. I’ve been waiting patiently for a new version that would be the next level and I’m glad I waited. I’m blown away. At first I decided that the TRD Pro in the spec from your last video was the one for me, but this is the first time ever that there have been two models that call out to me. I have one question that maybe you may can help with. Is the air compressor available on the Pro or is that just for the TrailHunter? Thanks for the videos sir!

Love the fender flares here The TRD Pro has gloss black, which will look like trash in a year or two And love the interior color scheme. And the copper rims with this paint color are fire!🔥 Toyota has stepped their game up on the 2024 Taco. They'll get plenty of Taco trade-ins
I'm 6'0. I need to be able to sit behind myself comfortably in this. I really want it, but I don't want to sacrifice comfort of the backseat. Also, the 6 ft bed is amazing
The seating position looks 10x better than the outgoing model. Major bonus points there. Looks amazing. Can't wait to see how it stacks up to the other mid size trucks. What a year for that segment
Why is nobody talking about the fact that it has cooled seats in addition to heat. That’s huge for me living in the heat. I would choose it over heated seats in my patch. Awesome to see both.
no tow hooks up front. That's a major zonk, no arm rests in the back seat is another zonk. The other zonk is where is the power sliding rear window like the Tundra and 4runner has that is a toyota trademark.
-ZR2 tends to clock in 48-50k -Ranger Raptor announced at 56k -I’m gonna say this is gonna land around that same level, I’ll bet by the time TTL is done, this is a 60k truck. I imagine fully spec’d this thing could touch 70k. Gross.

The only question is, do I go TRD PRO or Trail Hunter. :) Finally, a truck worth me trading/selling my 2011 TRD Tacoma that I've had trouble free since new.
Damn it! I just picked up a Camry TRD,, might have to to give it to my daughter and pick up the Taco TRD PRO!! No doubt has my vote for midsize truck if the Year! Excellent work Toyota (except for non-function hood vent) … love it! Joe and Lori great work as usual!

No lockers, it's a hybrid, it's not on 35s, I'm going to have to wait for aftermarket off road equipment, and that wing in the back of the cab is going to put some distance between your Alu-Cab or your AT habitat. It sucks looking at a high-priced truck and looking at all the things you're going to have to change to make it work for you.
I worry about that JBL wireless speaker on the dash in direct sunlight. That's a lithium battery exposed to probably 140 degree cabin temps on a regular basis

I wouldn’t call any of the updates revolutionary. Toyota finally listened and looked at what people have been talking about and modifying gem 3s all along. It always lacked power so thank goodness finally a motor hopefully with balls and mpg to make it worth while. 33” wheels for top of the line truck is a joke and plastic trim front bumper is trouble. I wonder if wheel travel is similar to pro specs 11-13 inches or so. It would have been helpful to get actual numbers and details of things that matter, not the badges or stitches. Something tells me that the price point won’t be well taken. Possibly lower model and propose AM upgrades will still be what people will choose to do. Though they know that and that’s why they give you a better motor only in top model.
