This would be my pick out of ALL performance sedans. The engine and the manual trans is the main selling point, and I figure that'd be the reasons why buyers would gravitate towards the CT5-V BW. What a beautiful machine.
I'm one of the biggest GM haters out there and I'd still have to admit this is up there on the top-tier sports sedan list. I can't believe they built it, but I'm glad they did.
@user-my4xu4gf1z - It looks nothing like BMWs screen. This one is more curved, has rounded corners, and more importantly is one continuous screen image versus being 2 individual screens under one panel of glass. Plus, every company is doing this wide dual screen look for the digital display and infotainment system. There's no copying going on.
I don’t understand this. As soon as they do that y’all start ripping the Cadillac apart calling it a rebadged gussied up Chevrolet [insert Chevy that shares the same platform.] If y’all can’t see the value in Cadillac having their own special vehicles you can’t find anywhere else in the *gm* portfolio, then you need to stay far far away from _Cadillac._
I think that the symbol is that of the Greek letter Omega. If so, this could symbolize that this car is the end all of Cadillacs, meaning the best Cadillac within all Cadillacs made. My 2c.
Love that they made the Recaro bucket seats an option in the standard “V”. I wonder if the carbon fiber packages are now available on the CT5-V as well. That would be so hot with the white whisper beige interior and typhoon green metallic exterior. The beautiful peanut butter brown interior called Sedona Sauvage would really make the typhoon green pop as well! Can’t wait for an overview of these 3 trims under the sun.🔥
Raiti, been watching your channel for a while, I enjoy your reviews. This car is a future classic. I really how you get into the exterior appearance/lines/aesthetics of cars, you do that more than a lot of other reviewers. Unique perspective.

Great review Raiti! I always enjoy your enthusiasm and videos! I think the 2022-24 CT5-V Blackwing has a more aggressive and better looking front end. If I'm dropping over $100k on a car, I want to be able to look back at it after I park and as I'm walking away at least like what I see. Yes, styling is subjective but breaking up the smooth flowing front grill with black plastic on each side and reverting back to the old CT6 vertical headlights with a single LED strip does not look right to me. Just my $0.02. I love the car but I would get a 2024.
Best car for the money, all the way around luxury performance, everything, and that typhoon metallic is about the nicest color I’ve ever seen, preferably I would take the regular V with the all-wheel-drive. Man Cadillac really stepped it up last 5-7years
The first hand built engine named blackwing was a twin turbo 4.4L V8 in the 2019/2020 CT6 V, only 600 made ever, rare caddy! And that same twin turbo engine never went out of production‼️get ready Corvette fans😉
I feel like after witnessing the magnitude of budget *gm* gave Chevrolet for the C8’s production, Cadillac’s going to be able to do something really grand with the actual ’Blackwing’ engine. They can be very hush hush when they wanna be. I’ll be keeping my ears to the streets! 😎

They have always been above the rest, take the classiest luxury car and Cadillac will always look the best on the street they spew class and are a cut above the rest.
If these examples are any indication, Cadillac is on its game quality-wise. Probably the best fit & finish I've seen in the newest US built cars. I also like that this Cadillac remains V8 powered, and you can still get the ultimate anti-theft device for today - the manual transmission! Not to mention it will add to the fun factor.
Beautiful cars and the colours are sensational. My favourites American cars are Cadillacs, Corvettes and Camaros. Shame no CT 5 for the UK. I used to work for GM in the UK shame they shut down their operations. Great review keep them coming! Greetings from 🇬🇧
Cadillac styling ques to this exquisite ride are simply a chef's kiss. They pay attention to detail unlike any luxury car competitor in their segment, and it shows especially the front light housing! I'm blown away! 🤯🤌
Congratulations. Did you go with the auto, or manual? I'm torn. I'm in Dallas where traffic is terrible at times and I traded my 2017 ZL1 manual for the 10 speed for that very reason, but loved the manual. I don't plan to track the car at all.

I have a 23CT5 premium luxury twin turbo and I must say I like my grill better than that. Everybody's got those boomerangs, Lexus and more. Give me the old smile LO. L.😂
Give me this over a Charger Hellcat anyday... all that power with the reliability and without needing to stop and recharge every 250 miles so I can actually take it on a road trip... and of course the chefs kiss, that tremec 6-speed! But with the driver comforts of a Cadillac, I mean it's the best of all worlds...
Didn’t really show us the pdr upgrades. Don’t know what you were trying to say there about needing a laptop to analyze the data but I can tell you 💯 percent that on my 23 I can play it watch it and analyze it all from the car right there. Hopefully you clarify this soon….
I remember back in the days my grandpa and dad only drive manual cars. From there it went along through the family, since then I’ve been driving manual since 17 years old. Not to disrespect someone else preferences, but my grandpa used to tell me manual cars are for men 😅😅😅. Like I said before, this is just my story ok. So please don’t get upset lol. Now looking at this manual Cadillac, it’s like a dream come true. I’m glad there’s still manual cars out there, like the new Ford mustang it’s also stick shift 😊😍😍🔥🔥
Manual transmission went from being economy to super rare exclusive on luxury sport sedans. What a change! But this car is excellent and unique, way better choice than a typical BMW.
I use to come to Daytona Beach couple times back when spring break nationals was around which was one of the biggest car stereo competitions/car show and then I visited back in 2021 when they had the Daytona Truck Meet at the Daytona 500 so it was cool being up and close with the track since the show was in the grounds around the track
The Cadillac is absolutely amazing car. I put the GTR ahead but this is amazing. GM typically doesn’t put in DOD with a manual I hope this is the case.
I don't like GM myself and I was very pissed off that they discontinued all of their coupe and sedans line up in favor of Bulky crossovers and SUVs! But props to to their Cadillac for keeping the CT5 and CT4! The Cadillac is the only worthy line up of GM!
I’m not much into Cadillacs, but I must admit this is a very nice car. American built wise I would get it. Interior is really nice and detailed and especially like the manual. Now since AMG was brought and the gentleman was softly throwing rocks at it, I agree when it comes down to the exhaust Mercedes needs to get w/the program, watch Mr. Benz he calls them out on it. But Mercedes has been the pioneer w/something’s this car has, and a lot of new cars. The side skirts w/the gloss black, the inside long digital panel in the E-class since about 2017. Now about the lighting being the best I don’t know, check out the new 2024 AMG c63s Sedan when lights are on right below has AMG logo it’s hard to explain it looks cool. I’m sure everyone else will start copying just like when they first started the lighting of the front star emblem now everyone has it. And they’re about to come out w/some other nice thing that has to do w/the music & drive….
Really nice green color there. A good looking car. The Bowling Green factory does great work lately. personally i hate these giant wide screens. Mercedes pioneered the edge to edge screen, but i don't want to watch TV in a car.
