Absolutely love this. I was looking at the 2024s, but this is so much more refined and nice looking on interior, I'm going to wait for the 2025 and make do with our current ride.
GM is improving in this decade. Since the 80s their interiors have a poor reception from consumers. After seeing this latest model they're improving build quality and materials. The big change with this interior is there's way less hard touch plastics and more soft touches around the vehicle. GM did a very well job with this truck.
@atg1338 wdym? GM interiors have been garbage for 4 decades. Now in this decade they've started to improve build quality and materials. Only thing they haven't changed are the seats. Besides that they've done a good job with this truck.
@@SeanAlegator they all have been the same for decades. Chevy had better interiors in the 80s 90s and 2000s over dodge and ford. They all have to much plastics and are similar. You sound like a gm hating lil boy
Family owned collision repair.. All vehicles seem to suffer from 'spare parts issues today.. apparently Only enough parts are manufactured to build each vehicle.. aftermarket or salvage are often the only options.. ;/
Finally a modern column shifter and not the awkward button setup. I thought it was bogus that they claim that column shifter takes up space but the button shifter does not.😂😂😂
It’s beautiful. I’m glad that they have a column shifter now. If only they would bring back the adjustable foot peddles, I still love it regardless and can’t wait to see the Yukon at4
I feel like Chevy finally caught up on the infotainment. When the complete redesign came out I was like ok they did a lot on the infotainment but felt it wasn’t enough. Now they got it to where it needs to be.
Agreed, I have been close to pulling the trigger on an upgrade from our 2013 Suburban 2500 but couldn’t get past the pyramid protrusion navigation system which was forcing me to consider a Denali. With this redesign the Chevrolet and Yukon LT trims are back as an option for my family!
Most people wont be able to afford it! I mean I make over 150k/year but after a 1200/month mortgage, insurance for my other vehicles, health insurance for the family, taxes, food, utilities, and ect, Do I want to add another 800+/month payment? This redesign will cause the mark up to go from 57k to about 65k for the base models!
Totally beautiful and the Tahoe, Yukon, and Denali's etc are the standard bearers that all the other brands like Ford, Lincoln, Hyundai etc. all try to match with their own full sized SUV's.
minute,. 16:50,. you did not say if the third seat reclines ,. with that big of a car why not ,. especialty the price ,toyota highlander makes better third seating,. let G M ,. know,.i better keep my 2003 Z71 suburban.
I’m glad they enhanced the interior since the price is in the $60K bracket for a base model. I’m also glad they increased the diesel’s power figures. The torque was great on the previous gen, but the horsepower was a little low for me.
A great review Joe, as usual. Glad Chevy is stepping it up with infotainment screens. The updated style looks very good. Finally, the inside is updated. Like the gear changes on the steering column. We are empty nesters and don’t need such a large vehicle. Do a lot of in town driving. These large boxes hard to park and maneuver in crowded traffic areas. My Santa Fe SUV so easy to maneuver and park. I am spoiled with its maneuverability. Yeah, it’s smaller but adequate for our needs. At gas prices at $5.00 per gallon, one must either be prudent or rich to drive these large vehicles especially around town. They are pros and cons, good job Chevy.
I love how your "secret locations" are never a secret...... Lol.... Your not doing anything special brother, 5 people just put out a review of the same truck at the same location before you!
How about finding out if GM has addressed so many failed lifters and camshaft on both the 5.3 and 6.2. Such a premium price to pay for something that is not exactly been reliable
What Japan in Europe have done to the automobile industry is impressive, but I bet they're still scratching their heads, ears and butts cuz of the fact that they can't even come close to beating the Chevy Tahoe
Pretty much guaranteed on the GMC, on a recent test drive sales guy said they’d already been invited to preview it and get some info on it, he obviously didn’t (couldn’t) share details but with this Chevrolet drop it seems like 2024 MY is likely more of a short-run half MY and 2025 MY refresh will start being produced mid 2024. They have to expect this improved interior will push patient buyers to wait for 2025 MY availability.
The king of gorilla Warner Bros DC comic superhero Mecha tech super sonic Mega monster machine metal muscle off road suv, brand new Chevrolet Tahoe z71 facelift 2025, the off road capability monster the power, enhanced comfort and confidence, advance technology and safety, security features, and most brutal muscular off road suv ever
Why GM still has the 60 40 middle row is beyond me... So if you have more than one car seat you can't access the third row! Come on GM! Ford had it figured out in 2018... I want 8 seats and access!
No sunroof on Z71! If that’s true it’s a huge mistake! How come all the previous years have the panoramic sunroof? That alone will make me not buy a new version. I prefer the Z71 look and for $80k it needs to have all the options as the upper trims.
Hey Joe, this Chevy Fan boy loves the 2025 Tahoe, especially the new console. Joe would you take this over the Toyota Seqouia and Ford Expedition? Once again, a great job by you and Lori !
This is for a family of six and for business purposes still a gas guzzler and we know gas is gonna go up and up again. This vehicle is $1000 a month payment unless you put at least $50,000 down Elis same thing thousand dollars a month
Most people wont be able to afford it! I mean I make over 150k/year but after a 1200/month mortgage, insurance for my other vehicles, health insurance for the family, taxes, food, utilities, and ect, Do I want to add another 800+/month payment? I'm liking it better than the Sequoia gm has step there once again proud of gm proud to be an American very well done. To bad this wasn't at the L.A. auto show which I was very disappointed. Thanks Raitis Ride.
Thank you Chevrolet , for picking up your game, i wish the rear cargo area was lower so I don’t have to lift duffle bags as high, other than that i am impressed for the first time in a long time🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Finally Chev designed a functional AND good looking steering wheel. This is great. Much better than the square one on C08. Those i very dislike. The Z06 is phenomenal and I adore it, except this ugly steering.
I wish it had a panoramic view for when I’m not off reading an just cruising around the city or a scenic road or winding through the countryside or mountains with the family or the significant other. Everything else loooks aesthetically pleasing.
Love that color. I'm getting Colorado vibes from the front grille and that is a good thing. The Z71 Tahoe would really look nice if they did the two tone with the black on the top like I seen with some of the Silverado's. Looks really nice. Love those wheels. Major zonk on not having a panoramic roof.
GM truly makes Beautiful car but its just SAD that it plagues with issues & problems.Reliability is number 1 issue that make you stressfull and Silently making you retired Broke.2015-2021-2025 have minor / major facelift BUT same Engine,Trans & Electronics Becareful and Good Luck!😁😢
O Man i cant wait for this beauty beast to become available. I have the 2022 RST wish it blows im impressed and sure the 2025 is going to be a gorgeous beast. Cant wait. Please let know when we can start ordering. Thank you for the presentation 🙏
It's nice and I love Tahoes (had a 2007) also have 87 K5 Blazer the grandad of the Tahoe. But I'm not liking the switching to the lowered headlights. I think it looks better with them up top like past models. Makes it like it's trying to be a car.
Herd that the new Lincoln nautilus is made in China, and all of the transmission s that GM made them, Navigator is 23% American, f150 is30% American SHAME ON FERD😢
The 2024 Z71 has a moon roof, do you think this model being a prototype is just missing it before full production? That’d be a real disappointment if they got rid of it on a newer model.
V8, Good. Start/Stop, STUPID. Nice family hauler - but doe not seem to be a serious SUV. Add the dubious GM build quality, poor customer service at the dealerships and huge mark up - end up with a swing and a miss.
Typical GM "Jet Black" interior - ridiculous. The V8 engines have had the same hp and torque for 9 years, which would be acceptable if they were super reliable, but they're not. American vehicles should be world renowned for quality - instead of as "Plastic Fantastic" crap.
