I just hate and cringe at people calling anything with more than 2 doors a muscle car. Also, any electric vehicle being called a muscle car is absolutely insane. 2 door and V8 are required for muscle car status.

There was no real market for V8s to begin with more people purchase the v6 and V4 vehicles more than they do V8’s if it wasn’t for the V6 chargers and challengers v8 versions wouldn’t exist because they don’t sell enough of them. It’s not about the customers. Every car manufacturer has to start making the switch. Now Dodge didn’t have to go full EV, they couldn’t went hybrid. In the next 20 years there will be no gas vehicles in the streets.

Judging by what I hear on charging infrastructure from America, I'd say wait a few years. Infrastructure is there and it is getting more and more reliable but I'm not going to recommend an ev to anyone until you can pay with cash or at minimum with a credit card at most charging locations. The handling and feel is incredible though.

Most cars like this, will be heavier with 2 doors. Because it's based off a 4-door, the coupes loses the B-Pillar and there will have to be added reinforcement to take side impact That is if Dodge cares about the Crash Test lol.

What are you basing that on? Under Trump 44 mpg's were required by 2030 to meet Cafe standards.

Even if he gets rid of the push. EVs aren't going anywhere. Yes some manufacturers may stop offering some of their EVs, but the sad reality? Is that we have maybe 70-110 years of oil left. Even if the push for sustainable energy gets pushed back. It will be back sooner then you realize.

I really apprechiate the open mindedness. I will say though, as an ev driver, wait a few more years for the infrastructure to mature a bit more and for dodge to get some experience. I predict there's going to be some issues at the start as this is their first electric car. I just pray they make it repairable and don't follow teslas example.
