We have put so many miles on our WTF Rails from The Float LIfe with the 5 inch hub is crazy. We only have one Onewheel with the 5 inch hub around here and there is always a fight for who's going to ride. We share our thoughts about the new hub and how it changes the ride on trails and road.

Just ordered mine for my XR. As a guy who’s a little over 200lbs I’m hoping it’s the most cost effective way to get some extra torque without having to VESC, and it looks sharp!!

Thanks for the video Scott! My TFL MTE Hub arrives on Monday, and it will be going right on my GT-S. Will be mounting a Hoosier 11x7.1-5 slick, which will create the perfect float board for me.

I'm glad you're loving the 5" hub! Mine should be here on Monday. As far as digital tilt, it would be great if FM allowed us to level our boards! I also have the steep and deeps and did Jeff Adair's poor man's tilt kit. It's not perfect but it helps! I only have to tilt mine 1.5 degrees now.

I’m thinking about putting one on my vesc pint x… it would be tight because I would have to squeeze a xr hub on.

Do you think this would make a noticeable difference on street or city riding? I don't really hit trails. I also think a comparison should be done with a "full size" tire equivalent. The stock GT tire has a 6.5" hub but it's also 11.5" in diameter so by putting on a 5" hub yes you gain 1.5" of extra sidewall but only if the tire you use is also 11.5" in diameter. Everyone seems to be using 11" diameter tires right now so the extra sidewall gained goes down to 1", or 0.5" on each side of the hub.

Dang that looks so epic. Wait what is that about the leveling? Can you change the degree in the app? My standard WTF rails it feels like it dips a little too far forward in acceleration and I would like it I could have it engage with a little gentler angle

Yes you can set tilt on the latest firmware, when they introduced the haptic buzz.
