I always wondered how Puppi kept the shots so steady and then we see in the reflection the camera is on a pole or gimble system. Here I thought she had incredible arm strength. Either way, she always does an excellent job in filming everything and just always follows wherever you are and whatever you are pointing out. You two make a great videography team.
No mention of the slightly dirty black/grey Chevy Malibu? Just kidding. I LOVE how many of these cars are manuals and they all look stunning in that California sun! The weather does not get any better than that. A drive in this weather with these cars in this place is what a perfect day looks like. Thanks again for the great content Shmee! Work has been busy so now I am playing catch up with your videos. Actually, this looks like what Forza Horizon would look like in real life and in California. Just epic!
Oh man, those Porsches are making me get car sweats, an RS 4.0 in THAT spec, AND a Speedster with that interior spec. So gorgeous, the whole lineup is insane. Nice to see your GT back in the California sunshine. Looking forward to your Car Week adventures Shmee! Be safe and have FUN!!! edit: hit 5.0 instead of 4.0
The car that pulled me into liking Porsche was this, the GT3 RS 4.0 (my all time favourite car). I also very recently purchased a Porsche licensed 1:32 scale model of the 4.0
16:35 "Look at this, look at the rock out here to the right...what on earth is this place?" That, sir, is the Point Sur Lighthouse. You can take a tour but bring a hoodie. Very blustery!!! Thanks for stopping by our humble town and gracing car week with your presence. You bring good energy and we love you! Come again next year!
Tim, have you ever driven a 959? I don't recall after all these years following you if you've driven one or not, but if I'm not mistaken I believe you haven't.
Tim I loved that coastal drive 👌 I dream of doing that in convoy one day. 🤞 I’ve watched this video twice just to really appreciate the car and the visuals.
so cool to see shmee enjoying the road! i am lucky enough to drive this road at least once a week on sporty early morning runs. i am usually completely by myself. i only have an upgraded b8.5 s4 in manual, but i get to drive it pretty hard. so much fun! im open to finding any driving buddies who want to join.
Not to take away from tims epic Porsche content but hearing eds meeci was pit driving with you guys and saw all them flatbeds. Sometimes lambos can be finicky 😀 maybe the new owner has all the major service up to date and totally reliable 😀 either way always epic to see one! Thanks Tim!
Peak 911 in my opinion. Small enough to fit on UK roads (992 is as big as my Macan) too big for UK roads. I’ll never sell my ‘GT2RS’. I remember you filming the 911x911s at Silverstone in 2012, I was driving my 911 at that event!
Love this car! I have a 2010 911 Turbo, RS wheels, PCCB, carbon interior trim, aero kit wing. Bought it last year. Camped out of it at Rennsport this year.
What a timely video is. Just A few hours ago I came across the documentary on how the 911 almost got axed from Porsche. They didn't like it and they wanted to drop it off of their production line. If it wasn't for an American ceo and a lowley german engineer to save it from the 928
A million for a GT3 RS 4.0?! Only in the owner's dreams. A simple google search results in a whole list of GT3 RS 4.0's for sale around 400k, at most 500k for a very low mileage one.
5 for sale in US ….3 with less than 2,000 miles … can be had for $730K to $800K ….😎. 992 GT3 RS - 56 for sale in US … can be had all day long for $400 K …Per Monterey Car Week Auctions …prices are down ….😩
Shmee150 Absolutely Incredible Video I think it's awesome that you got to Drive that Absolutely Gorgeous and Incredible 997.2 GT3RS 4.0 and I think it sounds pretty awesome and I definitely get why it's worth over 1 million
what a lovely orange porche a little sad that the 12 oclock marker on the steering wheel is red not orange spending that much money i would have thought they could have done that very nice car anyway
Would you rather drive a fast car slow or a slow car fast? That's the question that always lingers around ... newer cars are extremely fast and rarely driven anywhere near limits. I think more about 996 being maybe the best in this regard even though myself I have a 924 that can really be driven near the limit without breaking the law and keep the revs at the top,.,. Heal and toe shifts, no power steering or power brakes.. no anti lock brakes either actually..
