@artofmaryanas498

Something I can't help but wonder is if the author's species is a highly evolved descendant of one of the non-sentient species that inhabited one of the planets within the second galactic empire, either as a native species or as livestock for the post humans, that was able to evolve sentience after humanity's extinction. The reasons I think this is because 1) it would explain how the author had such access to all the resources with which to study humanity, something that would have been difficult if he had come from somewhere far out in the cosmos, and 2) with the race having developed on a planet covered in post-human fossils and ruins, the author's fascination with humanity would have been cultural, similar to humanity with dinosaurs, and would explain the immense effort put into their study. This is possibly my most tinfoil hat theory for this book but I love to imagine it

To me the "Alien author" mostly likes to be a hybrid between Asteromorph and Qus... It seems that Asteromorphs after extinguishing Qus created a kind of species to be powerful enough to withstand from future attacks from remaining Qus in distant galaxies... Or perhaps other kind of malevolent aliens... Perhaps Asteromorphs trying to use Qus advantages against them engineered a new species of Qus terminators which was a hybrid of Qu and Asteromorph DNA. That is why the Alien author was interested in Humans. He should have some human DNA from Asteromorphs. Also not being able to live on planets, Asteromorphs may have used the adaptable insect like of DNA of Qus to make their own creation capable to live on planets

I love this theory, but how would said non-sapient species have survived the Gravital invasion on whichever planet it originated from? I mean, they blocked out the sun if I recall correctly, which to me feels like it would have killed most if not everything on the planet. Maybe some species could have held out for some time, but without the sun I feel like everything would eventually die

It's definetely possible considering that the Qu are the only species that the Author has outright expressed any kind of negative comments towards to (calling them monsters for example) instead of looking at them purely on an academic way or trying to give us their POV when it comes to why they did what they did (like they did with the Gravitals). If that is the case, it's likely that the Author's species still harbors shame/hatred towards their ancestors due to everything they have done to the past.

For the author to have had a human skull, they must have had to inhabit Earth, or come across it some how. Perhaps whatever alien species had access to galactic history also had a small record keeping of "Human" history. Maybe human history was a niche subject in the universe's history, the same way someone stumbles across an indie band they like. Curiosity caused the alien to go out and seek Earth, and find any remains or footprints of an extinct race. Also, I feel like the asteromorphs could find a way to leave behind their history written and recorded somewhere. A pod or capsule, waiting to be found drifting in space. IDK, just my splurge and thoughts of this wicked story. Also, I find it funny that the Alien probably doesn't even know that they are holding the human skull upside down. No idea what the early human couldve looked like.

I have a feeling that he's from another dimension, if he's not from a super distant galaxy, studying the remnants of what we'd seen in the book. I'd say it is an alien who's civilization has discovered Human, Qu, post-human empire and Gravital ruins and like any archeologist who has found a long lost civilization is trying to peice together what had happened. As a speculative evolution, all of this relatively speaking is long past events that have been uncovered and are trying to peice together. Like other C.M. Kosemen books, they could be mistaken and all of this is educated guesses as the languages are probably not even comprehensive to them and likely none if it is to us. It is only written in english by the actual author for our convenience. If the in-universe author wrote this book, it would be in a completely otherworldly language.

They could have technology like time travel or time viewing that could have helped them along, maybe even intact databases with detailed history. Being so much more advanced than we are they could have figured out how to store information that won't become corrupted through time. We're only considering archeological evidence but it could have led to discoveries that advanced their own understanding of technology and the evolution of the post human species. I think the alliance seeded several galaxies with new life and this creature is an offshoot of one of those new lifeforms that has evolved beyond our understanding. I think it came from something like a crab or some other crustacean like species, it looks very exoskeletal in nature. It might as well be completely extraterrestrial though, after so much time we can't be sure even DNA would leave traces of our involvement in it's development. There's so much genetic engineering and lengths of time going on even DNA itself could have evolved into something else entirely.

I don't think even Kosemen thought far enough to give the Author a backstory but if i had to guess from the information given, it's either something related to the Panderavis (due to their proximity to Earth)or the New Machines. (still technically not 'related' to humans) Either way even if it's not either of those i hope they would be given an interesting background story, something we wouldn't really expect, something containing a nice plot twist. One version of the Chinese character ku (which someone on Reddit pointed out to look similar to the Qu)apparently means skeleton so the skull might hint at the Qu theory's validity.

(And as for the Alien Author’s motive for his study, he’s probably just really interested in Xenoarcheology and the like.) (There also is one thought that pops into my head every time I see that picture of the alien author with the Billion year old Human skull: How is it in such good condition for a fossil THAT old? And how is he able to uncover photographs of post-humans like the Pterosapien if film and hard drives are susceptible to deterioration over long periods of time?) Was just thinking about this, that skull should be dust that is long gone but in a sci-fi world there's honestly any number of explanations. Maybe the authors species have such a mastery of genetic engineering that they can see and access forms that were long dormant in the human genome. Maybe humans discovered a way to preserve their bodies indefinitely before they were modified by the qu or maybe other species's had visited earth and abducted and raised a human population. Or maybe the author really is a descendent of humans so far removed that they don't consider themselves to be the same species, the author was clearly very interested in humanity and we're a bit egotistical like that.

First Theory: by looking at the image you can see than the alien author is holding a modern human skull what its very rare since the humans become the star people and they skulls were alot larger than a human one, my theory is than when the qu met with the star people there where also the humans (not star people) living on earth witch also were killed by the qu and modify by them into another bizzare things one of them being the alien author that may explain why the alien author have a human skull in his hand since maybe after the qu killed all humans they body were fossilized and discovered by this alien author and the book of all tomorrows is based in the evidence than the alien author found after the rediscovery of earth since by looking the image of the earth in the book we can see than it still have life on it and it could have complex form of life in his surface witch ones after the extinction of the Asteromorphs one of this ones evolved into a intelligent species this being the author one. Second Theory: the alien author is one of the subjects than the asteromorphs created and leave them on earth before they extition where the alien autor discovered the human history Third Theory: for some reason unknown maybe the Asteromorphs reached all thing they could have and knew they knew everything and they were bored there wasnt anything new and any thing to be discover they reached to multiple galaxys and saw all the universe, they were gods but this gods were bored bored of they own known so maybe they were so bored than wanted a clean restart, they wanted to rediscover all the things than they discovered so to do so they needed a planet a single one to start all over again this could be the cradle of mankind it self so they did it they genetically modified them self to be in a planet with gravity they leave alittle of they history in the earth so the new alien race knew the errors than the mankind did in the past. The astromorphs destroyed themselfs because they were bored wiping all of they civilization across the universe everyone of the species made by the asteromorphs were killed and with a universe with no danger this new species could grow without any alien intervention Foruth Theory: The alien author is just that a alien than came to earth a billion years after the extinction of the asteromorphs and discorvered the earth, traveling across many worlds to look for more history about the humans Note: The alien author is very simillar to a asteromorphs also we cant think than they would look very similar since we dont know how many years this new species has been around but the eyes the arms and the head look very similar to the asteromorphs.

This is my opinion. I don't really consider any of the post humans from all tomorrows as humans. Here's why. Lets talk about the snake people. People love to say that any alien who was descended from star people are "humans" But this doesn't make too much sense to me. I know they are post star people but snake people have completely different bodies and new species. Lets talk about the asteromorphs. I gotta talk about this one. I really don't consider them as humans in any way here's why: Lets say humans. We don't consider ourselves as apes or primates. We just think of ourselves as well "humans.. " Saying any new alien star people descend species are humans is like saying humans are still their fish ancestors yes humans were fish before, Then became lizard like then squirrel like then evolved into a monkey like animal then the monkeys evolved into apes then evolved into homosapiens. If an asteromorph was real and you said to them "You are a human" If they had a sense of humor they would probably laugh. Or if not they would call humans fish who thinks humans are still fish. If our ancestors were sapient and they spoke to you humans saying "You are us" You would say no. We are not you. We are humans. We don't consider ourselves as fish or squirrels we are just humans to us. Same would go for the asteromorphs.

I think the author is one of two things 1. The author could be a lopsider. I know this sounds unlikely but due to the singular long protruding arm the he has, is only similar to the lopsiders. 2. The author could be another form of star people(s) that escaped similar to the spacers way back when. That could explain why he is curious of the past of the human species, and why he has an ancient homosapien skull. He has all the knowledge on the way of life all the post homosapiens lived so my guess is that he discovered the planets with a team of other like minded scientists and discovered fossils of the post humans. The finding of these planets would not be a big deal in universe as hundreds of millions of planets are already habituated or abandoned, so it's no shocker that he could have access to a human skull. This also supports that he knows about the war that happened between humans and Martians, as he could have found remnants of the war and logs of the star people post war.

My theory is that the author is a Snaiad Alien that evolved sentence (if you don’t know what a Snaiad alien is then check out the project Snaiad) because if you look at what looks like the eye may actually be the genital sheets and the tentacle may actually be the exposed throat that Snaiad aliens have so I think that the author evolved from a nocturnal species from Snaiad

I like that the real life author leaves some things vague. It makes me think of the Horus Heresy from Warhammer 40,000. It use to be this period of myth in which humans weren't sure what exactly happened, leaving us fans with a lingering interest. Then they fleshed it out completely, which it was nice to know what happened, but it killed the mystery of it.

I don't think the author is a descended from the Qu asteromorph or any post human. I don't think the author is descended from the qu because as you said in the asteromorph video, Revenge is very immature for godlike beings and only a lower being could want something to do with revenge. I highly agree with your "what did the asteromorphs did with the qu" video because what you said about revenge is a petty lower being thing and gods should not do such immature tip for tap is very true. Also nice video! I think the author is a alien who found dead aliens who died years ago and now he is interested to find out what happened. But i don't think he would be writing or knowing about that all alone. Maybe their could be more who was researching for what happened to the deceased alien [post humans] and worked together to make a story of the book like more scientist and researchers.

I have a theory that the author is descendant of the Snaiad vertebrates phylum because of some points... That "arm" of their's could easily be descendant of the Snaiad vertebrates second head, you can even observe that opening they have on the beginning of the arm. Another fact is that they doesn't have a "first head" mouth, and it could have happened because of their evolution in ways to eat food, where they easily could have developed some more efficient way to break the food before eat it and then, by the course of millions of years, their first head mouth disappeared

I've a excellent question about the author; a fictional character in the all tomorrows, why is the book it decided to write down be in English, sent a billion years back in time to Earth in the 21st century and just so happens to do some undefined things that lead it to be published somehow assuming the book is actually extremely accurate about the future.

so those two other entities beside the main "Qu" aren't Qu as well? every video i've seen has made every conclusion on the middle entity is the only way they look, if those are Qu as well then the Qu are a breed of different shapes and sizes. I felt like this would matter but Idk if it does anymore, but saying there are similarities in the way they look can't be a factor in the theory if the Qu are different shapes and sizes like depicted in the picture of the three of them. maybe i haven't watched enough to know what those two entities are.

i think that the author is coming from another galaxy because life can’t just re-evolve in 1 billion years, or maybe he’s a distant descendant of the qu or Asteromorphs because if rats can turn into every type of mammal in only like 60 million years, the qu and asteromorphs could easily evolve into the author in a billion years, but hey that’s just my theory.
@John_Sturgeon
@John_Sturgeon 2 года назад
I think seeing the author as a spinoff of humanity is possible but unlikely, with the same being said for the author as a spinoff of the Qu. Instead, I think the intent of the book was for the author to be so far detached from humanity that he could fanboy over them and have this kinda cringey level of adoration for humanity so long after they've died off, like how the actual author said it was inspired by the rise and fall of the Roman empire. Making the author a completely new species rather than a centuries-later descendant like we see to books on ancient Rome is only applying the same hyperbolic lens that we see in the story of the human race; millions of years instead of hundreds; species instead of races.
@DeathBYDesign666

More to the point I think they themselves have some kind of time travel or perhaps time viewing technology, there's no way it would have been able to piece together most of this from just archeological evidence. Though of course there could have been recorded evidence left over from remnant databases and there could even be some traces of English in the gravital databases since they took some of their technology from the star people. Learning the language would no doubt have sped along the process of duplicating their technology. I doubt there would be any trace of the actual English language as we know it but a few key words could have survived.

Besides qu, i believe there are alien species that completely unrelated to humans in all tomorrows universe (even there is still a controversy that the qu is actually asteromorphs time traveling). The bug facers survived alien invasion before the gravitals and its not the qu who did it. So i just like to think the author is completely unrelated to any creatures he chronicled, simply a new and different alien species that discovers earth
@thescho7744

What if the author is a descendant of interbreeding between the Asteromorphs and the Qu? In the same way that when homo sapiens encountered neanderthals we wiped out most of them but interbreeded with some, maybe some Qu surrendered to the Asteromorphs willingly in their war and eventually were allowed to interbreed (either through "normal" means or by gene splicing between the two species). I think this could make sense as a final outcome of the war between the Asteromorphs and the Qu since I feel the Asteromorphs would have been too evolved to simply wipe the Qu out or enslave them and may have considered genetic unity as a way to gain a lasting peace.

The story of the astaromorph is that they become more alien and inhuman, so the author race became even more alien and less astaromorph. The story of the spacers is to become less of themselves. So The author's race became, what astaromorph were not. A specie's will become so different, that they forget their past, the author want to find his ancestors yesterdays. He saw a ancient billion year old skull, he thought it's a different species, he didn't realise that skull belonged to his ancestors. CM kösman rot the past of dinosaurs, the alien author root the past of humanity. All tomorrow's is a documentary about us human will become in human.

I strongly believe the Asteromorph/Qu hybrid theory. Just look at it. It has a single appendage (like the Qu) but with fingers and even a thumb like a human. It has two eyes that have merged into one ( if you look closely you can see the pupils are two ). Now look it's head. Almost the same as the Asteromorph. But it has two circular things that look like they are atrophied Qu eyes (but i am not sure about that)

one thing about the astromorths- we are talking about deep time here. We are also talking about evolution. It is entirely likely that one branch of the astromorphs evolved to live on land. It would probably happen thousands of times if not millions of times on the scale of deep time. I think this is one of the weak points of this series, given enough time many if not all of these species could come about using evolution alone and enough isolated environments. This is a truly frightening aspect of the idea of human spreading out into the universe. By the time we colonise all of the milky way there will no longer exist humans as we recognize. Even with faster than light technology the distances are just to great and the isolated groups will branch into distinct species. if faster than light technology is impossible then the isolated islands of life will diversify even faster. We will evolve to be amazing and caring creatures, and we will evolve to be monsters more ruthless and horrifying than any in fiction. This will all happen over and over again a million times. Again we are talking about periods of time that are all but unfantable to us. This is all assuming we don't kill each other off before we can start to spread to other stars.
