I been an Amex member since 2013. Have the cheaper Platinum edge at around $200 a year. Similar benefits yet a slightly lower earn rate at certain vendors. I only use the card at the highest earning vendors to maximise the number of points per transaction. Good bonuses on referrals too. Thanks Queenie and Pavlova😊
You said the Explore but this looks like the Cobalt Card; and why is your annual fee up to 300? The Cobalt is like $160CAD depending on the currency, but 300$$?? Where did you get that info and what dollar currency are you using? Quite confused.
My Apologies I just went to check the Australias Amex website, they did call the cobalt card Explorer, and it is 395$ well the conversion of its equivalent will be about $178AUS I’m in astonished and confused why that is. And your platinum card is $1450~~ while ours is $699 CAD and US is lesser of course for its conversion but why is Australia’s more than double the price?
@@esetravelsfor most American products aussies get charged more than conversion. Assuming it’s cos there’s less competition here but that’s just a guess
The 70k points shouldn’t be really counted considering you have to spend 4K within 3 months. That would be a net loss for the average consumer. For people who travel a lot it would be better in the long run.
Not smart to show your credit card number, unless it’s not a really card is the name C F Frost member since 95 it’s on all the advertising in Canada. Also this card looks like the original Canadian Cobalt card
