Another great video mate. Love the style and honesty. There isn't many dealers being upfront about margins etc. Far too many 'trusted dealers' talking utter shite. Just a quick point if....it might be worth sticking a few hashtags in the video title as this can bring more traffic, which you totally deserve.

If u opt for ROO3126 enhancement, AP will reduce 59jewel to 54jewel, the watch gets lighter, the min hand jumps everytime u adjust the time..... a watch NOT for the n3x generation

Always good info, thanks. The Tudor question seemed a strange one to anyone who hasn't been living in a cave for a couple of years. Every *hot" Tudor to date has ended up in the shop window within a few months. Surely not many people are actually paying over list any more?? Then I was reminded of the Moonswatch............Mind if Tudor were allowed to put "Submariner" on the dial the hype might last longer. 😉😉

The factors influencing price increases are probably correct. However today people are very wary of price increases and most will not participate in the “investing now and resell it later” game. Most sales come from collectors instead of flippers, so it has been slow. Going even slower now from what I see.

Not far wrong with that opinion to be honest, the majority of sales we are making are to users who wish to wear and enjoy right now, however in terms of the general pace of Rolex interest, things have picked up very slightly.

Hi, Not at all, a lot of our inventory is new Rolex pieces just issued new from the AD and brought to us the same day so unworn is actually quite common with Rolex, less common with other brands though

@@vinnyfrancis No I guess I mean... there's a difference between fully stickered and unworn. I could see paying big premium for fully stickered, but an "unworn" watch in 10 years... I'd say it's of dubious value.

Really good honest video. Tudor looks to be loosing interest and value very quickly. They have taken their eye off the ball for me and gone too far down the Rolex homage path while letting the quality slip. I went to collect a Pelagos 39 recently and it had so many quality issues I turned it down. Almost non existent lume on the hands poor tolerances in the bracelet and stories of bezels falling off was enough to put me off. The thickness problem on many models is still a problem as is the date wheel problems. Since the excessive price increases Tudor doesn’t add up anymore.

Wow one of the move insightful first hand experiences with Tudor I’ve heard of! Unbelievable that they experience such quality issues, I’m shocked. I did always wonder with them sharing the B01 movement with Breitling, a brand that is well known for QC issues, but to hear about poor bracket tolerances is a shock. Could not agree more with the retail price increases, they need to be very careful about losing their market positioning, they should remain at sub £4K brand. The Tudor Harrods just keeps falling too

I personally experienced too the poor quality of Tudor in my BB58 blue where water ingress by simply a wash with an open tap water. Fortunately it was still under warranty hence the AD fixed the issue but have to replace the stained dial. That is not a good sign of QC on their watches. Perhaps the older generation of Tudor watches are better made quality.

@@Saints-Forever My Black Bay 58 blue had brushing on the lugs that didn’t match. The right hand lugs had diagonal coarse brushing and the left were less coarse and near vertical. I bought a Black Bay 41 on release day many years ago and the quality was definitely better with that watch although it was terribly thick and unrefined. That same watch is still on sale with the thick case problem. If you look online Tudor is having lots of quality issues especially with the Pelagos 39. The “in house movement “ which is now being found in all sorts of brands like Bell & Ross among others which is made by a company which Rolex only partly owns is pushing the definition of “in house movement” to the limit. definitely won’t be buying anymore Tudor’s.

Interesting how people listen to those who probably didn’t even finish school for market economics advice. I hope everyone realises that the watch market is not an isolated entity, but is hugely dependent on how the macroeconomic situation develops. So, listening to a “watch expert” such as this guy will only land you into trouble financially. Read the FT if you want to make an educated guess where the watch market will go in 6-12 months
