I never knew that!!! Thank you, Mr. Campbell, for clarifying the connection between the apple and the forbidden fruit in Genesis.
Most of us know that the Bible doesn't describe the Garden of Eden's forbidden fruit as an apple, so how did the apple come to be the symbol of the "forbidden fruit"? Funny how it comes down to etymology (really!).

Lol...all these comments saying “It wasn’t an Apple!” when the video doesn’t say it is an Apple. The video explains why it has been depicted as an Apple in art.

It wasnt an apple. It was a pomagrate. Apples are from kasikstan (sorry for my spelling) its been told that it would have been a pomagrate

No. It was a grape. Blood = grape. Adam and Eve did not have blood until they are the grape.

Wine is the forbidden fruit you would not give a child. But you will give them apples. Whose the sinner? Mama eating fruit and giving life or Jesus turning water into wine? I expect crickets or ignorant responses on this one.

Hello - The serpent force base Kundalini chakra was raised in Eve which resulted in cosmic consciousness. There was no original sin from disobedience to God who was not even in the Garden of Eden. Nor was there any Devil or Satan. The story is an allegorical reference to the Jewish Kabbalistic Tree of Life (please study the Torah and the Zohar, from which Jesus' teachings derive). Eve is innocent as is all womankind. God did not curse mankind. Blessings - RevDrD

@It’s Someone you say Cain belong to the serpent so why chapter 4 say and Adam knew Eve his wife and she conceived and bare Cain and said I have gotten a man from the lord then and she again bare his brother Abel people read with understanding and I believe the serpent was a snake cause the bible say God curse the serpent cause the snake gave the devil its body to use

Mama Nature's apples are good to eat. Water Jesus'turned into wine is poison to me. I hope you're not giving children wine because Jesus made it.
