Is The Beretta Cx4 Storm Discontinued Again? Get One While You Can! 

The PX4 Storm 9mm pistol is very underrated, built as strong as the.40 S&W model and one of the softest shooting with its rotating locking bolt!

I searched high and low for a cx4 for years, then I happened across one used in .40 cal. I didn’t want it, but the gun store had it marked for $375 so I couldn’t say no. I shot it and loved it. I still have it, but I have since picked up a new one in 9mm. Have a few scorpions, a sub 2000, a ruger pcc, the new FPC, a few AR9s. I have to say the cx4 is my favorite to shoot

Outstanding video, sir! My wife and I bought a pair of these earlier this year as our anniversary guns when the price of them dropped. Since I'm left-handed, we decided on two as I could fully convert the controls of mine over. They run all 92 mags (which we have a lot of) and are an absolute joy to own and shoot!

Here I am in Oregon. Rain pouring down.. as it will for the next 6 months. My two CX4's sit in their cases. I have a 9mm with a matching 92fs and a .40 with a matching PX4. They are my favorite PCC's and I have a lot of them.

The CX4 is a fantastic 9mm carbine, so glad I bought one a while ago on sale, my only regret was not buying on sooner. Definitely massively underrated. So nice to have a 17" barrel in such a compact platform, so quiet shooting with virtually no muzzle blast. Like many wonderful firearms it's main problem from a commercial standpoint is that it's not an AR15 which seems all many buyers will consider.

Somebody once said " he who hesitates is lost",.. nothing could be closer to the truth,. .I 'hesitated in buying one of these when these were available here in Canada,.. my loss to be sure. Thanks for this video.

I did a little looking around and found out that it is still listed on the Italian beretta website even though it’s removed from the USA website. I also found out that beretta has been updating the US website to be more similar to the European version. This has caused a number of glitches that beretta is working on including the removal of the “legacy products” (discontinued) section. My personal hope is that it hasn’t been discontinued, but temporarily removed while they work on increasing stock for export, however that’s only speculation. It would be great to get an official statement from beretta one way or another.

Well it took many videos but you finally talked me into buying one. Just kidding, I’ve wanted one forever but never pulled the trigger, but I finally ordered me one, think with a pistol light added to it and a good red dot it will make a great home defense gun, and will make for a great do all carbine for running around on my 50 acres of woods.

I just love the Cx4 Storm! I still have to recommend Sierra Papa Cx4 for their reputation as being a great source of top-notch Cx4 Storm modifications. Beretta has made some fantastic firearms for a very, very long time and this carbine of theirs is such fun! Thanks for sharing yours again, Mixup & Son! =)

CX4s are sweet. I think Euro Optics has some good deals on these. Too bad we cannot have the newer, smaller MX4 here because I think it doesn’t come without the select fire option. Thank you for another great video and I love that outro music on your videos.

Beretta makes good stuff. Unfortunately, it's overlooked as we've moved onto more modular designs. New PCCs can take a variety of magazines and accessories and can often fold up into backpack-sized rifles. I wouldn't be surprised if Beretta is cooking up a new PCC design.

I inherited one from my late father in law. Hands down one of my favorites in my collection. The fact that it got discontinued makes me feel lucky lol

Could be that it just isnt selling well anymore. With more people buying modern striker fired guns like Glocks and S&W M&Ps, with PCCs that take glock mags, and Smith and Wesson offering some that use M&P mags, it's no surprise that CX4 storm sales is probly almost non existent these days, with Beretta 92 sales falling.

I'm kicking myself for not buying one in .45ACP when I ran across it at a local gun shop about 5 years ago. I went home to cogitate on it, and when I went back the next day, it was gone. I believe the price even then was still around $500-$600.

I have one in .40 , best truck gun made hands down, may look weird but handles and runs great

Wish I’d of picked one up when a shop by me had an FDE one about a year ago.

I have one in 45, and my only issue is the limited capacity of the mags. there are smaller than any of my 45 cal handguns.

They don't seem to be discontinued Beretta has it back up on their website although it seems they only make it in 9mm now.

You also have to get a new mag catch nit just a mag well insert. To change between pistol mags.

I always liked these carbines, watching from CA. Emphasis on "watching".

The only thing I didn't like about it was you can only use Barretta magazines. I'd rather have it where you could use Glock magazines as well. That why if you couldn't find or get Barretta mags you wouldn't be shit out of luck. Out side of that it looked to be a fine carbine. Have a nice day 😊. Peace 🙏

These could become an occasional item made like the Beretta Neos.22 LR competition pistol.

I found a used at a pawn shop in San Antonio, $450.00 out the door. It's black, the newer model with the raised areas around the controls, & came with one 10 round 92 series mag.

Beretta makes some cool looking stuff and some weird looking stuff, would put this in the weird category with their discontinued neo 22. Guess they can't all be winners like their px4 that gun looks pretty dope kinda cyberpunk

It's well past time for Beretta to update their functional polymer offerings. It's nice to still find good firearms in .40 though.

Love mine. I've had it for over 10 years and it's a fantastic carbine. I run mine with a Red dot and it's a tack driver

Got mine 2 weeks ago…. Was hard to find, but ordered mine off gun broker from a company that was EXTREMELY unprofessional so I will not promote them. Put on a budget hollow sun on the top and a sight mark light/laser on the side and a foregrip… it is an absolute beast…. Definitely recommend picking one up if they are going to have a shortage….. the only problem is finding aftermarket internal upgrades. I only know of one company that specializes in parts, and their prices are ‘kind of expensive’ to put it politely…

I wish they'd bring it back in 45acp. It's hard to get a 45acp carbine! Hell, it'd be easier to SBR a Glock 21 at this point.

Hopefully they redesign it and make it styling like the new awesome 80X Cheetah. I will buy one if they do. 👍👍

Wish I bought one cheap when I had the chance. We really have many good choices but everything is expensive.

I was under the impression that Beretta manufactures some of their firearms in batches. It may be temporarily unavailable but unless the company itself says they have permanently discontinued this carbine, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it back in stores in a couple of years.

Very great carbine, Nevada has some of the best places to shoot around, even around lake tahoe.

Alas I must make my purchases count. I am allowed 3 carry guns on my permit. Trying to secure a third. Also looking to replace my XD with a glock 21 for my night stand. And i want both a Ruger PC Carbine to take my 9mm glock mags and a M&P 15 Sport. Then i have to put future purchases on the back burner for a bit.

I had great interest in this carbine when I was deployed to post katrina NOLA. I was not able to take advantage of the opportunity however. On the other hand, I also interest in an AR-15 carbine in pistol caliber as well and considered it's potential for interchangeable barrels and cartridges. I can recall a discussion I had with a fellow deputy at a Houston gun show. "Why would I need a rifle in pistol caliber?" My answer was, " Imagine being able to deliver the power of your pistol at much greater range and with much greater accuracy"

Every PCC should have the magazine in the grip. Having it forward of the trigger makes the package longer unnecessarily.

What I really love it's November and they are out in the desert shooting his weapons in the desert Nevada is a unique place you either hunker down for the summertime because yeah it's a little warm but I was still take this over 10 degrees below zero

I had one in 45ACP and it shot good but had a terrible trigger that I never go used to so I sold it to someone who could live with the trigger. It is sad they discontinued it.

Interesting I had a sweet one years ago did a stock cut away , Put a Sierra papa trigger kit Was a dummy traded away with a friend of mine.About a year ago I got a New one FDE Gen ll one of my favorite fire arms definitely in the Cadillac category of Carbines. Got Mine👍🏻

Illinois now considers this an ASSAULT WEAPON (so scary), it's essentially a pistol with a stock and foregrip...but criminals get glocks with full auto "switches". I really hate what Chicago has done to this state.
