He is totally right. I am Korean so I know what Koreans eat, mostly eat carb. Rice, noodles, veg, fruits…. You might think they are thin and healthy. No that is not true. So many Koreans are diabetic or pre diabetic. Yes they are thin just little bit of tummy but it cannot say they are healthy. I am staying away from carb even if my friends think I am gonna ruin my health by eating unhealthy but believe or not, I am the only one loosing tummy fat and healthy.

@@GuitarsAndSynths The real problem is old generation. Korean women over 50 mostly they grew up with eating veg because of financial situation and feel uncomfortable when eating meat so they stay away from it and lose muscle and strength. Some doctors on TV show advice to eat more tofu and beans and multi grains to gain protein and stay away from fatty meat. My mom also has the same problem, her legs are very weak so she broke her knee when she just fell on the street. We are heavily brain washed by all the fake researches and big marketing and it is casing sickness.

How can we even keep a tight watch on blood sugar like you do without a CCM? Also I cannot walk into a doctor and ask for my insulin to be checked? I couldn't even get my doctor to do an A1C until my blood sugar went over 100. That was 10 years ago when I was 69 yrs old. Guess what I have now at 79. Again, how are you getting all these tests? I totally agree with not smoking, drinking, having highly processed carbs or anything with added sugar or seed oil. If you have bad habits don't let your bad habits stop you from trying. Admit to your being with addiction. One year carnivore lifestyle this month, pretty much a dirty one at that. Pre diabetes, obese, feeling old and done. 80lbs down at my teenage weight, off blood pressure meds off reflux meds, off beta blockers, off blood thinner. Not prediabetic now, blood pressure very much controlled. I am not at this time able to be perfect but I have improved so much. Depression brought me to the carnivore lifestyle that has improved greatly. 68 years young and have gone back to work part time as there is a shortage in my field of practice. Even professional people have bad habits. You don't have to be perfect just try it out, be as clean as you can now...improve as you go forward.

Scientific theory is completely different from the common term theory used in everyday conversation. Gravity is still a scientific theory yet it exists and the science behind it is rock solid and the same is true for the scientific theory of evolution. All religions are just belief systems. There is a reason why it's called faith because there is zero evidence for any of it. Religion is the opiate of the masses.

If you listen to Dr. Eric Westman, he only counts total carbs not net carbs. I believe Dr. Berry says the same thing. So you should be counting it as 50 grams total which includes the net. You could be eating for example over 100g of carbs per day but your net is only 70g, your body doesn't know what net carbs are and it just processes the 100g. So if you want to be precise, count total carbs only.

@@Primetime_dads That is actually hard to say. Everyone is different. I believe it depends how fat adapted you are. I've heard of some people who can eat 50g and still be in ketosis. I've also heard that you don't want to be in ketosis all the time either. That came from Bart Kay. It's good to come in and out. You should really scroll through Dr. Eric Westman's videos. He's been a low carb doc for over 20 years. He learned from Dr. Adkins. His way of keto is spot on.

Im against any diet that's weak in Fiber consumption. I like the low carb aspects of the carnivore diet. But that's where it stops. Ill go Vegan 2.0 (which is combo of vegan & keto) for that benefit. True meat eaters have K9's for teeth and short digestive tracts. Most animals that consume meat have 3-5 ft. long digestive tracts. Whereas, the human digestive tract is 26 ft. long. Animal by-products (toxins) does inflammation damage to the human system along that 26 ft journey before its excreted.
@kylewtslaunwhite
@kylewtslaunwhite 2 месяца назад
That's very incorrect about how meat creates toxins. We don't need fiber to poop. It is an indigestible carbohydrate that our body doesn't absorb, it just bulks stool.. Have you ever watched Dr. Paul Mason's video about fiber?

Sooooo... no offense... but I heard a pro metabolic person, Jessica Ash, say that long term carnivores like you are actually stressing your body out by forcing it to make glucose. Also, she said you have low muscle mass and probably low bone density. She said... basically what happens to vegans is happening to carnivores... the body breaks down muscle to make glucose. What say you? Have you ever checked to make sure your organs are not shrinking? Or had a dexa scan?
@cheryl-annlee9491
@cheryl-annlee9491 2 месяца назад
Your whole entire body has 5grams of glucose. A slice of bread or an apple has 15-20g glucose. So how much carbs do you think you really need to eat? The 5g can be produced by glucagon if the level falls. It's how humans continue to exist before they were told to eat every 3 hours and top it off with a protein shake 😂

I so disagree strongly with Dr. Berry. He's so hard headed and acts like he's ready to punch someone, he acts very animalistic. If he doesn't like people to say CARNIVORE is unhealthy, then I say also DONT ATTACK PLANT EATERS BY SAYING STARCHES AND LEGUMES ARE BAD! I am and my ancestors ARE NOT HARDCORE CARNIVORES! I'm mesoamerican, we lived and continue to live on CORN, starches, squash, beans, potatoes, lentils. The Americas never had pigs, horses, cows, chickens, before Columbus, so don't be telling me my ancestors have eaten all that for 300,000 yrs, bc historically those animals didn't even exist in the Americas!! People around the world have lived on STARCHES not CARNIVORE, research demonstrates that, in Asia on RICE, Middle East on WHEAT, South America on POTATOES, we have 99.99% of people eat STARCHES historically around the world, its a fact. Dr. Berry is wrong on his research. What makes it worse is his animal rude behavior when he says carnivore is not bad. Will sorry, I have a leaky gut and many people do, I cannot live, survive, be healthy no matter what on CARNIVORE, the animalnproteins will seep thru to my bloodstream, I can get type 1 diabetes, kidney failure, heart failure, etc. Animal proteins are similar to human proteins, its a matter of time before the inflamation starts being noticed, if hebrelies only on lab work will he's wrong, many lab works don't show imbalances until your really messed up. Hi carb diets, starches have cured type 2 diabetes, hypertension, obesity, arthritis, heart failure, etc. Dr. Kempner, german doctor, with his RICE Diet (RICE house still exists today), has CURED all those diseases only using 4 ingredients: RICE, FRUIT, FRUIT JUICE, SUGAR! Duke University used this diet to heal, cure people on their death beds, including malignant hypertension. Yes a plant based diet is healthy for humans and a carnivore diet at UNHEALTHY for people with permeable guts. Dr. Berry's knowledge is very limited, what he's basically saying is everything else, diets, are wrong and only carnivore is best. Before 1980 Chinese people eating rice were not pre-diabetic, diabetic, they were very healthy, after 1980 those statistics changed Thanks to high processed western diet. Dr. Berry is now looking like the animals he eats, look at his rage, look at how red he looks like the beef he eats.

@@salemdesigns65 what? Eat more meat? Meat is not for everyone, don't recommend it while at the same time saying "continue eating whatever you'd like to consume". Carnivores are hybrid reptilians in disguise, that's why they enjoy meet so much and if it is dripping in blood they enjoy it more.
