The Chanel woc was my first and only Chanel purchase I’ve made and that was exactly 5 years ago this month. It was a push gift for myself as I was expecting my second child. I was debating whether or not it was a smart choice since I wasn’t sure if I would get a lot of use out of it in the upcoming months but man am I ever so glad I did! It has served me so well while lugging around a baby bag during daytime outings to date night in the evenings. It’s so crazy to hear how much it is now. Also, after watching one of your older reviews on the woc a couple of years ago, I ended up purchasing a pack of those clips to shorten the strap. Ultimate game changer 😃 Thank you for another great review! Really made my late morning coffee even more enjoyable ☺️ ❤️

Oh I can imagine how useful it was (and still is) to wear your essentials in a light weight format against your body while toting around a diaper bag and all the stuff you gotta carry with a baby! I especially found it useful while travelling! I'm so glad this video accompanied your morning coffee!

I just sold mine and made back what I paid for it in 2016. I wasn’t using it enough to justify the cost bc it doesn’t fit enough for me and I just got a medium CF in same hardware and leather. Loved it while I had it though but wouldn’t pay today’s price. Thanks for sharing these alternatives!

Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *yutulu* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability

Thanks for the informative and honest review! I just bought my first chanel bag as a WOC lambskin with a pearl crusher in a light pink color for $4100 USD (not including tax). It was more of a spontaneous purchase and now I'm not sure if it's worth that exorbitant price when it can barely hold my daily essentials! At this price point, not sure if I should just continue the hunt for a mini rectangular bag.

I just bought my first (and likely only) Chanel bag, and it’s the same as your WOC! I love it! It was the the same price new in boutique as what it’s going for pre-loved oddly enough so it was great to have the boutique experience and buy it new and activate the 5 year warranty in my name. I’m going to get those additional clips to try it as a belt bag with the draping chain as you showed. Love the versatility!

I use my WOC almost everyday - I use it when I go for a walk, it was my pandemic bag, I travel a lot so I use it for my passport, etc and keep it with me, at the hotel when I go for dinner/breakfast buffet, when I go to work besides my workbag or if I use my roller. I don’t use it for formal dinners instead of a clutch, for that I use my petite malle or my chanel mini. It is one of my most used bags, mine is in the airport collection in lambskin. i had the chanel woc and i sold it in 3 months. it was so stiff so that i couldnt fit anything but my phone , cards and a llipstick. is so expensive for what it is and i think is only the idea that is a chanel. i think a better alternative and very special in price is the ysl small envelope cassandre chain wallet . it holds a bit more in my opinion and you dont break your bank !!!! kisses!!!

I agree, the current price of it is ridiculous! Perhaps people who are interested can get a better deal on the pre-owned market. It is a great piece and I really enjoy using it. But there definitely are other options with more utility! Thanks for offering your suggestions - I'm sure anyone watching this video appreciates it! We all need options!

Chanel WOC was my first chanel purchase,9 years ago. I use it a lot, it’s very versatile bag and still look like new. I didn’t have the chance to purchase a Chanel bag except of some slgs.. so, I take care of them a lot!☺️

I love my woc! I actually got mine in 2018 and sold it to get the newer version (snap closure) and I even made a little profit which was nice! The price is outrageous now imo

Thank you very much for the video. I am intending to treat myself for Christmas. I love the Chanel woc caviar gold but I am torn between this bag and celine triomphe teen. Since the price is the same I am so torn. It will be my third and last luxury bag so I want to be very careful. I have 2 Chanel bags and wonder if it is wise to get another or try celine. What is your opinion please? Celine triomphe or Chanel woc?

Oooh. Which vanity? The top handle one is really good. But I’m not sure what the price is on that. The vanity definitely fits as much as a rectangular mini. The woc is nice cause it’s compact and lays flat against the body. Both are great choices -definitely more capacity in the vanity though.

Love all your informative videos :) I have a lovely (small) Chanel collection. But my WOC (just like yours) is my go to with a pup in training, and out on my adventures! Are there more affordable pieces out there. Yes. But I purchased mine In San Francisco, CA…. made in a France. If it’s within your budget then I say go for it!
