The Pokémon Charizard Ultra Premium Collection can regularly be found on store shelves these days, and often for under retail price. But is this behemoth of a box still worth opening in 2023? Or are you better off waiting until the Sword & Shield era is a thing of the past?

since no one in real cares i thought id just say in my first pack i opened out of the whole box i pulled the.......Charizard Vmax!!! not only am i new to collecting new ones but i was putting together a Charizard binder and thats why i got this box . loved Charizard as a kid and now . i about passed out when i got it. maybe i should get it graded for my first graded one as well

Also, i bought another elite trainer box and got leafeon v star, a few Vs and full arts and i was suprised to get the secret rare pikachu

Market is saturated I would sit in one of these for a couple years wouldn’t be surprised if they double considering charizard is one of the most popular Pokémon.

I bought 2 boxes before they were on their way out over a year ago at $120 another card shop had them at $150 in the bay area. I don't see them anymore in any card shop in my area it just sucks they take a decade to start going up in value if they go up that is. I guess they will sit in my closet wrapped up unopened for another 9 years to see if my investment pays off.

If your biggest thing is the promos, I would probably look to buy those separately. You can likely get all three for under $30 total. The packs are a great value at the current market price though, so if you’re willing to spend a little extra, I’d say it’s worth it!

@@gacpkmn I mean if these things stop getting produced it might be worthed to hold onto the cards for a while. I'm getting 2 boxes, opening one and keeping the other sealed. I think that might be a good way to use these products
