As a hardcore glitch thrower, I don’t know why people are comparing these. They are not the same disc, the glitch will go on whatever line you put it on, the spore is basically a light weight judge

Yeah it looks really awkward and uncomfortable for him. I suck at it too and instead of doing a stepper or a jump putt I do more of a Frisbee toss like they were doing later on in the video if I need more distance or power on my putt.

Mushroom spores are dispersed by the wind. It's kind of like tree pollen but for mushrooms. I think what they mean by the name for the disc is that it's light and floaty.

Does the spore glide like the glitch on 50ft spin putts. Glitch just stays in the air forever compared to regular putters

Spores are released by things like fungi and float through the air to find a host to attach to for reproduction. The name of the disc reflects the relatively “floaty/glidey” flight the disc is supposed to have. The name may not be amazing, but it makes sense

I love my Glitches, but I hate trying to putt with them. They're a great approach disc, I love them off the tee, but they have too much glide for me to putt with them.

Nobody uses them for putting unless its a long straight tail wind. Putting with glitches is literally one of the worst ideas ever. they are too light and arent very torque resistant.

It's not that they are sometimes more overstable or understable, the Glitch simply holds the line and angle you put it on It can become "stable" if you don't spin/pop it

The glitch is a perfectly stable disc when it's new. Whatever angle you put it on is what it takes, no flip-up at all. The spore looks like a normal glidey putter.

I don't think the name Spore has anything to do with the actual mold. It's just another evolutionary biology term like a lot of the other evolution molds. None of the other evolution discs have naming that correlates with the disc or flight, and I don't think this one does either.

I love my glitch, but I’ve been using my Anode more lately. Super straight, not quite as glidey. The inside rim is a bit more rounded so it comes out of the hand much smoother for me.

You had it right the first time with the spore name its meant to be like a plant/fungus/bacteria spore that is ejected from the host and spreads by floating over long distances. Hence the name spore for a light insanely glidey disc

Fungi release spores during mating season if I remember right. They're released in the air and are so small they almost float like dust or even smoke. It actually fits for this disc.

first, listen to your dr. don’t play until you feel right again. as far as preventing it from being a problem in the future: it depends on the source of the pain. if it’s tennis elbow i would reommend a band-style elbow brace. it’s just a band that wraps around the upper forearm near the elbow and transfers some of the energy from your arm movement into the band instead of your ligaments.
