To highlight a major ongoing theme of all Cohen Brothers movies about their storyline: They all end where they begin. None of their movies have character growth, lessons learned, or a finite ending. It's their charm and style and it works, but yeah. They are all just circular series of events really. And its great

I was at a music festival years ago (moe.down) and after they finished their final set saturday night, at like 2:00 in the morning, they just brought a screen down and played The Big Lebowski. Everyone stayed, it was great. It really tied the weekend together.

If you recall there is a nihilist passed out in the pool when the dude meets bunny. "He won't mind? He's a nihilist he doesn't care about anything" or something to that effect. You can connect the rest of the dots to how they are connected.

i watched this when it came out in theaters with my dad. i was 11 at the time and didn't understand it at all. i just knew i liked the dude's vibe. later when it came out on dvd when i was in middle school, i ended up picking it up and fell in love with it. sucked cause no one my age knew what it was so i couldn't talk to anyone about it

He’s great in Bad Times At The El Royale too. That wouldn't be a bad one to review actually, lots going on there. Building tension, takes its time, subverts expectations and tropes, over the top sometimes, and oozes style. And who doesn't like some Hamm?

Totally understand why he views this as a sitcom! A raw r rated adult sitcom. I agree it has a similar tone and feel to others - like we're part of the crew. Interesting perspective.

Have some others movies you’ve gotta watch that grew up & saw, but would love to hear Pushing Tin. @@jamesstrieb1 it's a pretty heartfelt movie, yes it's sometimes go bananas with the editing because it's baz. Almost everyone agrees Austin butler kills it as elvis and the best part of the movie. Maybe watch it to see how his energy is gonna be for dune part 2 because he's playing feyd rautha.
