We only experienced the tip of the iceberg that is Stokesville VA, but man, that trail was fantastic! We shuttled to the top of Reddish Knob, then took Wolf Ridge back down the parking lot. Here is a Strava link for that ride. / strava
This trail is so worth the stop and shuttle! I'll be back!!

Great meeting you guys at Snowshoe, the Sweet Line table was fun to session with you guys. This is a good one for sure and the 2nd best in the area (Sherando Torrys to Blue Loop is prob the best), but the best shuttle I have found on the East Coast so far is the Frederick (MD) Watershed. Multiple trails are DH park quality just no lift...but you can hot seat shuttle vehicles all day. Definitely a recommended ride. Great video man.

We rode that on XC bikes with 100mm of travel up front, on 29x2.2 tires. We suffered in a few spots and our "fun meters" were up all the way, but we survived, as did our bikes. We couldn't get as rowdy as Joe and Alex, yet I don't feel we had any less fun. Unless you're doing long sustained climbs, it's a no brainer. The ONLY negative it has against long sustained climbs is that it's a bit on the heavy side.
