Thanks for the video I have a mac El capitan and I would like to find the software for mac that allows me to regulate those settrings you mentioned as in auto is too bright. Thanks
@@iLVCA Hello there, I hope you're well :) I don't have a Mac unfortunately to play around with it. But you should be able to install OBS onto your Mac, add your webcam as a source on there and be able to double click on it to get access to the manual controls for the webcam, so things like exposure, brightness etc. Then you should be able to click on the virtual cam option which means that you can select the OBS virtual cam in other software like Zoom for example and this will bring the settings you have configured in OBS over to Zoom. I've got a video here which shows you how to add a camera into OBS and where the virtual cam button is - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hMkKsaItu5U.html I hope this helps.
Hello buddy, I hope you're well. You can install the Emeetlink software and this will allow you to control the brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation and white balance and you can save these settings. If you need to adjust the exposure though then you would need to use something like OBS and manually configure it in there. You can also untick the boxes in OBS for things you don't want to auto-adjust.
I imagine it should look pretty good providing the lights are pointing at you :) There is a newer Emeet C960 which is 4K in resolution. I've not had a chance to check it out but if it's around the price of this one then it may be worth going for that one instead.
Great review! You always cover everything I could think to ask about a product and more. Nice to see Molly making a guest appearance... hope she received extra treats for it :)
Thank you Sweetie. Molly gets way too many treats :D But she did deserve some for her performance in this video. She's currently on my shoulder again and i'm giving her a cuddle, even though she peed on my hoodie last night
@@SweetiesCatWorld It's rare that she does it. Usually when she's in the bedroom. If she's in the living room then she always uses the litter tray. I'll have to get a litter tray like one of my hoodies
Hello buddy, I hope you're well :) If you have the Emeet Link software installed, then I would disable it completely then restart OBS and see if it allows you to change the exposure.
Hello buddy. Thank you for the kind words about the video. I'm using OBS and that allows us to play around with the camera settings. I hope this helps.
Hello buddy, I hope you're well :) If you want to use it straight out of the box and not mess about with any settings then the Logitech C920 would be easier to get going with. If you're happy to use something like OBS and play around with the exposure slider and fine tune the image then the C960 is decent. Just remember that you don't get autofocus on the C960 if that's something you want.
Hello there :) I hope you're well. Yes you can. It will be done in whatever software you're using the webcam, for example, if you're using Zoom, you would go into the settings in Zoom and select your stand-alone microphone rather than the inbuilt one in the webcam.
Hello there Kletra, I hope you're well. I've just had a quick look on Amazon to see if there's an answer to your question and this is what I found: Hello, is this product compatible with Xbox one S for streaming on Twitch? C960 can be plug and play. If you can't use it after connecting USB, please confirm if the Xbox host take the C960 device as the default device, but the definition of C960 is not a game webcam. If it is applied to the game, it may not achieve the expected effect. If you have any further questions, please email us via【E-mail: support@emeet.tech】 I hope this helps. It may be worth pinging an e-mail to the Emeet support team just to 100% clarify. Thanks
Yeah, thats exactly what I have. Had it for a week now and I’m having issue with it trying to focus. Whats the fix or is it faulty and do I have to get a replacement?
@@NOSICYT This is what i'm seeing online - The PS4 does not have native support for USB webcams. However, there is a workaround that you can use. You can use a capture card to connect your webcam to your PS4. A capture card is a device that allows you to record or stream video from a game console to a computer. Not sure if anything has changed but I don't have a PS4 myself to try plugging a webcam into it.
Hello buddy, I hope you're well. I've just had a quick look and as long as a webcam supports either YUY2 or the NV12 video codec then it should work. The Emeet C960 has the option for YUY2 or MJPEG so this should work on the Xbox.
Hello buddy, I hope you're well. I'm just double-checking their website and it says that it is compatible with Mac from OS 10.10 and later. Which software are you trying to use the webcam with? I think there is an app called Quick Camera you can download which may be worth a shot to see if it gets detected in there.
Hello Noa, I hope you're well :) I'm using OBS to record the footage from the webcam, this is downloadable from - obsproject.com This is the software a lot of streamers use as it allows you to jazz your stream up by adding overlays etc. Any changes you make to the webcam in OBS can be pulled over into your other software like Zoom, Teams etc by clicking on the virtual cam option. I've created a video where you can add LUTS to the camera to change the way it looks but it shows you where the virtual cam option is and how to add your webcam to OBS - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hMkKsaItu5U.html When your webcam is added in OBS, under the sources tab you can double click on the webcam and there is a settings box in there which lets you get to the settings you see on this video. I hope this helps.
No!!! This is the worst web cam ever. I ended up having to purchase 2 of them due to malfunctioning issues. The 1st one lasted for a couple of hours then shut down. The 2nd one lasted for about an hour before it completely shut down during a very important job interview. In fact I lost the picture 2x during that interview. Amazon worked with me and they refunded them both and advised me to throw them in the trash!! DID I get the job??? Who knows. I won't know until after Christmas week..Do not buy this camera!!
Hello Gail, i'm sorry that you've not had a good experience with the webcam (well, 2 of them). I never personally had the issues that you've experienced with them, it's good that you've sent them back though. Amazon has always been good with returns for us so I'm glad they got you sorted. Did you pick up a new webcam to replace it? Wishing you the very best with the job, hopefully you get it.
The light changes when I got close to the webcam was pretty weird, i've not had any webcam do it to that extent. Emeet have got some more webcams which hopefully i'll be able to review in the future.
@@Andyhhhdx The light changes DID seem a little weird, and it's something that I've never noticed ... at least, not to that degree ... in the past. I look forward to viewing your future reviews, sir.
