lol I'm worried about my e60, the oil pan was leaking and it would lose 1 quart every 3k miles, then it stopped leaking and I never have to top off between oil changes now.
I had some strange issue with my heater in my e85 where it only worked on max heat half of the time, which now seems to be fully fixed. I haven't done anything but I like to think of it as "self healing".
Hondas and Toyotas never leak. They come with lifetime titanium gaskets which means you can buy a corolla from 1990 and it will be as reliable a a 2023 car. I swear Honda and Toyotas use a tremendously different engine design/ manufacturing process unlike any other manufacturer, I swear their engines are soo different from regular engines they totally don't use any rubber gaskets or piston rings or rod bearings etc. which is why their engines will never fail, they totally don't work on the same principle as a regular internal combustion engine from today.
@@uranium3111 That's BS lmao. Anyone who says that "Toyotas never leak" have never worked on a car in their life. All cars eventually do leak SOMETHING. It's wear and tear.
"hacking the tail lights" means they cut them open, replace red leds with orange ones and glue the housing back together. It usually costs about 40-50euros per tail light so it is much cheaper than buying a good used european spec set of tail lights. If job done poorly, tai lights will start to leak water.
@@williamskagen9901 wouldn't say that. Especially in east Europe, the people dgaf if the turn signals are red or orange. It's a mid-west European thing to fulfill the regulations correctly.
Repairing broken headlight adjusters is supposedly impossible on post-facelift/LCI (model year 2001 onwards) E39s. Fortunately this isn't true, with a little patience, care and attention the headlight unit can be split and the adjusters replaced at the cost of a handful of euros. Done properly nobody would ever know that the headlight unit has been "hacked". Much cheaper than the couple of hundred euros a new headlight unit costs. What I would like to know is how to restore the rear light units on the tailgate. They don't respond to the polishing as per the headlights and the body mounted rearlights. It must have something to do with the type pf plastic used.
If you die tonight, do you know where you're going? Did you know that Jesus Christ is THE only way to Heaven and He loves you? Through Him, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways, from now on put your faith completely in Jesus Christ and be obedient to Him. Biblical explanation of the Gospel: God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. (Matthew 12:30) ''Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.'' He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we ALL have sinned. (Romans 3:23) The law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23). Revelation 21:8 says that all liars will go to hell. For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ - for He lived a sinless life and resurrected. None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it, but we don't want to be damned. Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life, Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16) We aren’t saved based on our good deeds/works, but only by the grace of God through faith. ''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Jesus said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins (past, present, future) to be forgiven if we repent and trust in Him. ''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15) ''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19) Repentance is a turning away from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8). Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin. While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6) If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually. (John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14) You are born again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36) ''You will know them by their fruits'' (Matthew 7) If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will desire righteousnes - to do what is good and righteous in God's eyes, to seek God everyday in His Word and prayer, to strengthen your relationship with God. You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son. ''Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.'' (2 Corinthians 5:17) ''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.'' (Eph 2:10) You will have a testimony - of what your life had been before and how has it changed now when you have surrendered it to Lord Jesus Christ. As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so. In John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.'' ''Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit'' (Matthew 28:19) ''Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.'' (Acts 2:41) ''And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God - through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,'' (1 Peter 3:21) ''We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.'' (Romans 6:4) ''Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.'' (Colossians 2:12) Please get right with God and start your relationship with Jesus Christ today before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left! "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.’’ (Mark 13:32) Get to know Christ through God's Word - Bible. At first I recommend reading Gospel of John and book of Romans. God bless you! Jeremiah 29:13 - ''You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.''

I feel like this car is worthy of Streten's love. Must have been an exciting moment for the first owner when he learned that his beloved car fell into the perfect hands after a VERY wobbly few years.
Imagine, if you loved the car, that you find out it’s been bought by one of the nicest and most fastidious BMW enthusiasts out there, and you get to follow the journey to it becoming a near concourse example again.
You might want to check those replaced airbags, especially the side ones, to check that someone actually replaced them and not just hacked the sensor to disable the warning light.
@@sys-administrator oh but it happens, don't even doubt it. There are so many cars with blocked off or removed airbag warning lights driving around. Owner sends it to a garage and they "fix" it, charge full money for it and done.
@@sys-administrator if the car was in Latvia , then it's really possible, and most likely they rolled back mileage there aswell . I'm from Latvia , and people are doing a lot of sketchy things there . All the imported used cars are either made of few cars or mileage is corrected , in some cases few hundreds of thousands km's 😁
Yep, either hacked the sensor or they put exploded airbags back in place nicely but they obviously aren't charged. Either way needs to be checked carefully, even if actual airbags are in place. Almost an ordinary situation when buying a used car somewhere in Eastern part of Europe and Russia.
The original owner deserves to see his beloved car again. 140 000 miles and apart from the engine, the car is in pretty good shape. You can tell he loved and cared for it.
Is the E30 fixed???😮👀 Man I keep forgetting how many cars you have. So exciting that we've got soooo much more to watch 🤣 The best channel on RU-vid BY FAR!!! Thanks dude😎
@@manelisimdakane4470 yeah it was wrecked. sreten's obvs been fixing it behind the scenes. Anyway he said there's gonna be a video on it released shortly. Cannot wait to see it!
I found this channel about 2 weeks ago and I’m absolutely hooked. Concise explanations with just the right amount of detail and the production is spot on.
Oof, so much carnage! I'm curious to see what the engine hides in the oil pan 😵💫 Always great content Sreten ❤️ can't wait to see more videos about this one. And I can't wait about the E39 Touring 👀
We have a new road in Hungary. They are building it since 2years but they did not open it yet to be a proper "autobahn", it's open but the speed limit it 110km/h. People barely drive on it, the lenght is 60-80km full new road, no police there, so you can go as fast as you want, nobody "bat's an eye". :D They only check the trailer truck stickers. I used to drive my e46 320d at top speed 220km/h(stock limit), nothing much but it was enjoyable. You can get on it on a sunny afternoon, sometimes no one is driving on it.
Once again big thank you Sretan! You motivate me to start working on my BMW E90 and do it correctly with all the torque specs and so on. I mean I am afraid to leave my car in someone's workshop... And one more thing I really like the 1-hour episodes
You’re building an amazing collection of BMWs. Any of these cars would be a treasure to own, especially after you’re done bringing them back to life. Thanks for the inspirational content.
the floor winch is genius. weird to see an episode less than an hour long but thoroughly enjoyed it. cant wait to see this m3 when its done. one of my favorites.
I didn't realize there were so many projects on hold! You definitely need to finish some of those for the subscribers who await news on specific projects (mine is Marbais, I've been waiting for closure ever since the accident) This has become my favourite YT channel, thanks so much for the great content!
One of the best RU-vid Channels. Informative, great sense of humor, right amount of sarcasm and educational, as well. Time flies by watching your videos. Now here's the other, possibly not so good part. I've owned several BMWs over the last 10 years and sold each one swearing I wouldn't buy another because BMWs are expensive and built to stay that way. Spent way too much money fixing them while my Honda continued to roll along. However, you've ignited the bug in me again and I'm on the hunt for an X3 M40. I would like a quick grocery getter. Thanks......
I amazed at engineering that goes into engines, but equally impressed by this guy how he can look at one part to diagnose a major issue without wasting time.
It's a tough break. By the time an older M car reaches a top-notch mechanic like Sreten, you can assume the motor is trash. 2nd or 3rd owners beat the shit out of those cars and only have enough money to put in gasoline. The good part for us is that we get to see the car undergo a major refit and brought back to life!
Thanks for keeping us up to date, Streten. It’s greatly appreciated. Your new two-post lift looks incredible, and I’m sure you’ll put it to good use. Gotta watch out for that angry Alpina B7 lest we anger the car gods. I can’t wait to see what you’ve done with Project Marbais!
Wow that's amazing how many old BMWs Sreten has accumulated since I began watching the channel! It's amazing watching him live the BMW enthusiast dream :D
Thank you for that overview! Really looking forward to basically all of your projects 😅 Ps: Maaaan those e9x lci are beautiful cars, especially from behind 😍

So many projects, what do you plan to keep after it's finished and what do you want to sell? For the alpina, do you plan to give subscribers/patreons first dibs on the car? Do you have a buyer already waiting?
Wife: "Honey, can you go run out and get some groceries quick?" Me: "Sorry Babe, Sreten just dropped a vid on the E92 M3. Gotta watch that first." Wife: "Ugh, ok."
Me: Gets a notification of a new video. Went to get popcorn thinking it's a one-hour video only to realize it's a twenty-one-minute video. But the content was amazing
This is the only reason I've been reluctant to get an E92 M3 for a daily fair weather car. When those engines go boom, they do it Big Time. It will be interesting to see the carnage. Silverstone is such a cool color. It seems BendPak sponsors almost every car RU-vidr. My next house WILL have a lift in the garage.
I find it hard to believe. We (the rest of the world) are told America is the best country in the world. At least that’s what Americans try to make us believe 😂
@@Mr.Riffianmany parts of New Jersey are very industrial and receive a lot more traffic then other spots in the country which also makes fixing the roads harder so there’s more pot holes
I am very disappointed with this video. Thinking it was going to be another hour+ long video, I ran to the store and bought two large pizzas and a case of beer. Now I have a 3/4 of a pizza and most of the case left warming up on top of my table. 😝 All joking aside, I am looking to see the internal carnage of this engine. Keep up the good work.
Maaaaaaan you know after more than 2 weeks of waiting and getting 24 minutes video is now like a slap on a face! But we all agree that this channel gives us so perfect content that we are spoiled now 😅
As a resident of New Jersey who currently owns an e46 M3 as a daily driver, I can confirm our roads are utter shit. America; a 3rd world country masquerading as a 1st world country
Hello Sreten! I am enjoying a lot the content you create! Thank you for the opportunity, to spend some nice quality time! I want to give you an idea of how to use the same winch for the other post also: you can install two pulleys on the ground and divert the cable, one pulley will be in front of the winch, and the other pulley will be on the second axis in front of the elevator, so you can reroute the pulling cable to the other axis of the workshop. Hope you will see my comment and the advice will be useful! All the best from Bucharest Romania!
I'm really impressed you worked on the engine and all around the front with the tow hook in the entire time and your shins didn't end up looking like Van Dammes on kick boxer..
Sreten, you've got us on our toes waiting to see those wrecked engine internals! I drove a v8 M3 4-door saloon many years ago and she made a huge impact on me. So pure, sharp and tweakable driving, she is the best FR car of the last 20 years…
Being British I obviously watched old top gear, Hoovy and the rest… You are an amazing technician. I love your precision and care. Looking forward to seeing what you do with every project. I’m worried in that I have watched almost all of your videos over the past few weeks. Thank you❤.
New lift looks great and shop is looking mint, nice touch with the winch. Can’t wait for project mar bay, I have sense of nostalgia as my dad had one when I was young he did a full engine rebuild. Lots of welding 🤣👍
I have done exactly the same way in my workshop 3 years ago.Any breakdown car I am pulling with winch to my lift. But the problem is when I have to do it to my second post lift, but life isn't fair at all haha. All the best, love your videos!
