I own 3 of these and I must say that they are fantastic for the money. The large size is massive I’m 5’10” and it goes a foot above my head. And you can pair a regular size and large size perfectly for colder weather. As far as the temp rating it shows on the listing as a comfort level of 35 degrees and a limit of 25 degrees. I agree with the stated temps

Love the channel and this “30” degree top quilt… I really need one for my girlfriend who is using my spare hammock these days (so I don’t have to sleep in a tent anymore!!!!). She has her eye on my quilt! Plus international women’s day will be coming and this would make a great gift and keep me in her good books for another year.. so really… this will make two people happy!

Thank you Featherstone! My new quilt, when it arrives, will replace my ENO way too short, not to mention not very warm, top quilt. I will be using this new quilt in my hammock of course, and also in my new X-Mid. Life is good!

Thank you so much for the review! I'm a major tosser and turner when I sleep and have always been a car camper until last year when I did my first overnight hiking trip and I'm now in a research rabbit hole of finding better gear. On a canoeing trip I frustratingly unzipped my sleeping bag and turned it sideways and used it like, what I now know to be, a camping quilt and I actually slept a whole night through. This looks like just what I'm looking for! I heard you mention you felt it was a 30 degree F comfort rating.

We camp for various reasons, mostly canoe tripping, but also sea kayaking, back packing, winter hot tenting and car camping. This would be a 3 season bag my wife would use. We both have tired 40+ year old down bags. I recently switched to a quilt and she would too. You rated this quilt for 30 degrees as opposed to the 25 suggested by it's name. Thanks for the informative video!

I would love to win this quilt. I would certainly enjoy using it in my home state of Utah at high elevation. Even in the summer, a warm quilt is necessary above 10,000 feet. Based on how the loft of the quilt appears on video, I' would guess you think the actual comfort rating of the quilt is around 20 degrees F. It looks very puffy! However, you said 30 which still isn't bad.

I'd honestly give it to my brother-in-law, who got into backpacking only after meeting my sister. He's struggled with finding a sleeping bag that works for him with his incredibly broad shoulders, where he currently using a REI Magma is too constrictive. I suggested he test out my quilt to see if it felt better, and as much as he liked not being restricted, he truly would benefit from something wider. I've actually suggested this exact quilt to him, but even as the best-value quilt I know of, he can't justify getting new equipment as they just had their first baby. My sister and him only do 3-season backpacking in WA, in which case I've recommended a ~ 30 degree quilt as the sweet spot. Warm enough for those colder mountain nights, but also easy enough to open up when the weather is sweltering.

Love all your reviews and a lot of your videos have saved me what little money I have for gear, a great deal of trail and error. That bag would double my insulation any night that isn't past 60*. You say its a 30 but that beats my only bag at 50 and I question the integrity of that rating. Id use this bag for winter camping (2 years and finally got a whole hot tent setup) but still need the sleep system for winter. Im sure everyones fighting for this giveaway but I know it would be put to use on my end.
