Great vid. I have FS 4K, 2nd gen cube & nvidia shield 2019. Luv them all for what they bring to my streaming world. My favorite is the cube. The cube is hardwired ,download speeds 250-300(use a different adapter). Also has wolf launcher & my own wallpapers.NO ADVERTS...🔥🔥🔥
I use the firestick 4k. I love it. It works perfectly for me. I know how to program it and all. I bought several more of them. I don't even use my router anymore as much.
Still got the 2015 Nvidia Shield .... Still working like a Dream I'm so very happy to say. Got it after having a couple of Android Boxes and for home entertainment the Shield has been the best decision I have ever made concerning streaming devices .....
You just had android boxes that sucked . I have a Beelink GT King pro and love it. I also have a Nvidia Shield but for RU-vid. Nvidia shield is crap when it comes to surfing RU-vid.
Thank you my brother moved in with me he had surgery and he's not well and he watches TV all day I've been paying a fortune for cable I'm 70 he's 80 cable is killing us I'm afraid he's not going to be able to work the remote and he does not like change BUT it has to happen
My question is does the Firestick wear out? I've had trouble with different apps buffering and the prime app will stop and start and then the sound is out of sync. But when I watch prime on my tablet it seems to work OK.. I've had this fire stick for quite a few years. Anyway thanks for the video
I have the firestick 4k Max and I recently bought the Fire Cube 4K and I put the stick away. I also have the Shield TV and I put them side by side when it comes to streaming and performance. The Cube can also play retro games, whereas the Firestick 4k Max can't handle most gaming outside of what they offer in the app store
my 88 year old mom needs something simple to control her tv and watch her Fox News. she has a older tv and does not have have a HD/smart tv. Would a firestick be the best option for her? will she be able to watch Fox News? she has Xfinity cable now but the price keeps going up. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Roku and Firestick Lite. I should have gotten a regular Firestick instead (not lite). Not that I'm an expert today, but if I only knew what I know now. I'd go with regular Firestick. I bought it months before the Max.
I kept going back and forth from a Fire TV stick and the newer Chromecast. I really wanted to like the Chromecast but it kept giving me buffering issues, application issues and audio issues. These are issues that I never had with the Fire Stick. It was a huge bummer because the Google TV OS is amazing and I preferred that over the Fire OS.
I’m ready to cut the cord from direct tv. Bill over $250 a month. My daughter gave us a fire stick 4k. My question is can I run the one fire stick on 2 different tvs? As you can read I am not tech savvy at all. Or do I need to buy another stick? Also can I choose a different kind of stick like Roku, for one tv and the fire stick for another?
I've had experience using a fire stick before but I don't have one of my own. I'll probably go for the 4k option if I could choose. I hope to get one soon
Considering a Fire Stick for my parents' xmas present. I have an apple TV but i know they wouldn't get the most out of it, and so I don't want to spend the extra money so I was looking for alternatives. They have several years old tv, so really just looking to jump over the system that comes with the tv as it's getting super slow. Any recommendation??

I hate firestick keeps on having trouble with them and the remote controls, I got 3 of them about 4 months ago ALL stop working or remote has stop working tried using cell phone as remote it is a pain in the butt threw all mine away staying with ROKU devices
What about using it with your surround sound receiver? I know I can use in my tv but I currently use my cable into receiver, then video signal to tv? Any suggestions?

I have a fire cube 2nd gen and it is ok but it does not compare to my nvidia shield. It is cheaper but you have to stay on top if it so it don't take over your system.
just show the channel it can show, also you didn't talk about us we are the people most just want to watch regular channels all the Netflix, Amazon, my smart TV has and every videos the same talking about what out TV;s already has
That's what I'm trying to figure out my mom was calling me and telling me about how her friends have these and she said all they have to do is plug it in and have all kinds of free channels and I'm like "yeah I don't think so". Looks to me like all it really is is a device for turning a dumb TV into a smart TV?

why get this if you are on a wifi network doesn't a smart tv have a lot of the same features? I can't find a video with info on what this does other than a fancy remot

For example I uninstalled prime video and I don't get recommendations for stuff to watch on prime video, an actual watch list that isn't hidden. So get a fire stick if you want to stay in Amazon's walled garden. Google TV and Android TV blow Amazon's interface out of the water.
@@TheBman3rd thank you for your comment, it is just a matter of personal preference, I am So out of the Amazon wall. I use the Wolf launcher so I don’t have adverts and could care less about the interface…I have 48 gb of expandable system storage and 125 gb of recordable storage not quite what Amazon had in mind. If you like chrome cast, the sky is the limit, make it your own and enjoy. Again thank you again for your comment and May God Bless.
I find fire sticks to be almost unusable after about 3 weeks. At first it feels fast but then it gets slow and buggy. I end up just spending the cash on a Apple TV and it’s great.
Why didn't you tell anyone about a very stupid feature of the firestick home screen is that they have your 6 only 6 most used apps at the top and if you scroll down you find a section of recently used apps. Very unnecessary and redundant. I don't care about recently used apps because the 6 only 6 apps I use most are right at the top. I'd like to add more apps, but can't oh wait Google TV and Android TV let you.
@@dna1737 about 99.9% of the people out there aren't going to change the launcher myself included. This is where Android TV and Google TV win hands down because I feel their interface is the best out there. You're just waisting your time changing the launcher on firestick unless you can change it to Android/Google TV

I’m sorry to burst your bubble but the firestick is not how you say babysitter friendly. If you want simplicity and ease of use then Roku is the way to go.
If you enjoy buffering, buy a firestick. ALL are slower than ANY firetv box. One problem after another ! btw They spend big $$$ for bot comments. Most are hilarious with their FALSE claims.

@Ululu Kululu APK's are apps like cinemaHD or media tv... Look for RU-vid videos on how to sideload thru apps like applinked or unlinked. This guy should have the videos on his channel.
@Ululu Kululu you can see most of the popular shows on the apps... They won't have everything but but the main ones are available... I don't have paramount+ but I can watch discovery,Picard,the new one just out... The mandolorian and boba fett... Most stuff on HBO max... All the movies... But on the movies you do have to wait a few weeks till they are released on DVD. Like I could watch the new spiderman right now but I'll have to wait another month or so for Dr strange.
I have an old Chromecast that I use on my "dumb" TV. I am looking into the Fire stick so I won't have to rely on using my cell phone or tablet to cast a program to my TV. I am an Amazon Prime member so I figure it's time I ditch the old Chromecast and get the Fire stick instead. Thanks for the comparisons. It made my choice less confusing.
