@@diytoolreviews8278 Same here. I bought/replaced certain tools based on his reviews. Overall, when it comes to tool reviews & variety of different brands head to head along with a review just about every week, his channel has been very informative & entertaining to watch especially when the tools get put through abuse. Just a few times I thought certain abuse tests make no sense but rarely.

You could fix that belt clip by taking it off, sanding the tip to make it smooth, then bend it up to give a larger opening.

One thing to mention if you don't. Fiskar's has an awesome warranty. In the states it seems like it is more honored then some people I've talked to in the UK. I have many, many Fiskar's tools and I have had them send out new replacements, no questions asked. I email a picture and that is the end of it, one shows up in the mail. I mean they have led the way in many crafting, logging, and gardening/landscaping tools. They are also one of the oldest companies and had a huge impact on the Finnish agricultural industry.

That's great to know. I have to say, it's not a very popular brand in the US and this is only the 2nd Fiskar's tool I have owned. I hope to see more of them in the big box stores.

I LOVE Fiskars products and you are spot on about their warranty! I was very pleasantly surprised when I contacted them about my telescoping loppers, one of the lock mechanisms broke and I wanted to but a replacement part--they sent me an Entire new tool! And, did not want the old ones back...amazing to me

Looks like the belt clip will be fairly easy to remove and I don't like belt clips that much anyway. If it's nice and smooth so it doesn't irritate the leg while in the pocket, is easier to conceal and shaped so as to make it easy to quickly feel it correctly oriented in your hand and deploy with great speed, now that's good.

Get a pair of pliers and adjust your belt clip, no big deal. I have to do it on ALL my knives. I wear heavy duty pants and the pockets are about double thick as normal jeans. Don't do too much go at it slowly and I haven't found any clip I 'make a bit larger or put a bend in the end if you dont want it larger in the gap. Thats why we have tools isnt it? To make adjustments sometimes :)

the fat knobby handle is perfect when your hand starts cramping. and that thumb stud on the back spine is perfect for hitting with a hammer to do a hatchet job on something. I dinged up the blade latch pretty bad doing that, but it still holds them fine. just a bit harder to wiggle out.

Great video i had the fiskars before i ever owned a fastback always thought they were over hyped but after i bent the pocket clip a little i loved the fiskars until it started falling apart my rubber grip started peeling off and then my screws fell out at work i found one in my pocket but lost one and couldn’t find a replacement so i bought the 1502 metal body fastback with the 5 blade storage and have never looked back i love the way it feels in my hand and it feels less bulky but has blade storage which i hated not having extra blades on me at work cutting boxes all day

Personally just switched from my all time favorite which was the Milwaukee compact Fastback to the newer 6 in 1 because of the extra features and most importantly the extra blade storage. The compact is the best size for its also awesome button actuation mechanism, but the 6 in 1, even though a bit larger, has won me over with the extra features and blade storage. At least as the best edc utility blade. Fiskars makes some great stuff. I own several of their axes and saws so I have no doubt that the utility blade is quality, but it seems to big to carry in pocket every day imo. Especially since the pocket clip is not nearly as nice as the Milwaukees. But ultimately the extra blade storage and multifunction of the 6 in 1 just has the Fiskars beat handily, at least for edc purposes imo.

Same here. I love traditional folding pocket knives but I carry a fixed-bladed knife with sheath and keep my pants pockets free for other things. Large items in my pants pockets tend to be uncomfortable during a day of labor and a sheath'mounted tool is easier to access and put away.

Fiskars uses the same colour scheme on almost all its tools, axes, rakes, kitchen knives, etc., and the rubber is quite resilient atleast on kitchen knife handles. It does not get sticky with normal use and care. If the Milwaukee belt clip is not copyright design there is high probability that it might find its way on Fiskars too, they don't hang themselves on locked designs but do a lot tuning and tweaking on their products.
