Is the Fortis Colosseum easier than the Inferno? (Mobile full run example)

The past few weeks I’ve been doing a lot of fortis colosseum runs. After learning most of the mechanics I started to find these runs a lot easier than inferno runs.
A big part of this is because of the wave starts. The mobs don’t attack for the first 3 seconds of each wave so it gives you enough time to run behind a pillar. Using the middle 5 tile(donno what it’s called but a few tiles above the b5 tile) it gets all spawns to spawn forward of the nw pillar.
Another difference between colosseum runs and inferno is that there’s a lot less mobs on the map which makes it a lot easier to pray flick. On waves 10-11 there’s 2 rangers and 2 manticores on 10 while there’s 1 ranger 1 mager and 2 manticores on wave 11. This means on the high waves you only need to pray flick 2 mobs at most. This is a lot different from the inferno where a wave like 63 feels like every mob on the map is attacking you and spawning in random places.
Since there’s only 2 mobs attacking you at most(on spawn without dynamic duo)this pretty much brings all runs to having the a-b off tick tiles as the hardest mechanic which means if you get really good at off ticking the spawns you can get pretty close to a 100% completion rate.
I’ve had a good amount of players ask if the colosseum is easier than the inferno and I kind of found them both to be hard in different ways.
Colosseum feels like the spawns are the same everytime but has difficult off tick mechanics and mobs do a lot of damage but runs become really easy after learning.
Inferno feels like it’s mechanically harder to pray flick all mobs correctly since the mob count is higher(and blobs are harder to flick) but mobs do a lot less damage which means you can easily tank a ranger/melee/blob while only praying mage from the mager.
For this mobile completion I wanted to showcase probably what 50% of my runs look like with spawns. It’s pretty rare to get a manticore ranger/mager spawn and if it does happen it’s usually only once per run. It’s not too rare to get 5+ runs where all spawns are similar to this run but it’s also possible to get SE off ticks for multiple runs in a row.
Overall as long as you have a inferno completion it’s not too bad learning the colosseum. Even without the similar spawns each run make it really nice to learn the mechanics and all you need to do to complete a run is do enough attempts.

My personal opinion is that yes, it is easier.. because a lot of the difficulty from the Inferno isn't the mechanics, but the pressure of having to waste all that time and supplies again. Although the Colosseum has the pressure of knowing the loot you'll lose if you fail.. so I guess it balances out? :o

That’s really true. I’ve been going for inferno ca’s it feels really tiring mentally compared to the colosseum especially with how long it is. I can reset colosseum for speedruns all day and not get burned out lol. Inferno feels similar in difficulty to the colosseum going back to it but it feels harder from just how long it is

Personally, i find colo harder, the complexity is way higher imo, for inferno you can solve most spawns without even thinking about the npcs you're facing, just by 1t alternating, while in the colo you gotta adapt your prayer flicking from simpler stacks like range/mage to more complex ones like ranger/manti(mage start) or double manti with something else. Ofc you can bruteforce them by splitting the stacks as much as you want and then some might say colo is easier cause there are less waves to survive, but if done the proper way you will surely have a harder time learning colo mechanics over inferno. Ive got 30+ zuk kills and 50+ sol kills, all ca's done

I've never thought about that. I do remember feeling that the colosseum was harder than inferno when i first started. I feel like I was able to learn the solves easier with the spawns being really similar but it definitely feels more complex with the solves. I kinda forget the colosseum has all of these extra mechanics and it feels like se spawns are the only mechanic only needed to learn after getting a lot of the mechanics down. Like i was thinking yesterday while uploading this cox/cm's/inferno are a lot harder than the colosseum since they all have mechanics that make it a lot harder for me to get down(blob flicking not having the attacks above like manticore and 4:1 melee olm feeling like its harder than all of the colosseum waves since i haven't been able to get it down). Colosseum feels like i can look at a triple stack die a few dozen times watch some guides and get it down somewhat(have been learning new solves really slowly) while inferno flicking feels so random but i've heard from a lot of people it is really easy and solves are easier than the colosseum. For example i can get a se mage manticore/ranger spawn down almost perfectly along with solarflare/myopia/relentless/volatility/shaman spawn in front of minotaur but i can't flick a triple stack blob lol Alot of this probably doesn't make sense but I probably find the colosseum easier to learn and i can only compare it to toa where it took me probably 1.5k+ runs to get 500s down efficiently with the practice. Colosseum feels kinda similar to the invo system(baseline level not colosseum invos like volatility/myopia/relentless) where i've been able to do base level completions to doing somewhat decent runs consistently at 200 completions and still figuring out a lot more mechanics over a lot of runs while inferno feels like melee olm where i just have difficulty getting base level mechanics down while ely hopping pillar to pillar at wave 60+. Like inferno/olm guides are really hard for me to get down im not sure why. I've watched so many blob flicking guides but it feels like the mobs are attacking on random ticks along with magers/rangers/other blobs I donno what i wrote above really but i think your right about inferno being easier but this is the best way i can explain how the colosseum is easier for me.

I would say inferno feels less attainable just because your first infernal cape is about a 2 hour run and you are going to be doing tons of attempts, for most people that can only do 1-2 attempts a night it's going to take a good month or two, maybe more. I think people that are experienced in inferno forget how much of a struggle it can be for your average person that works 8-12 hours a day.

inferno is definitely easier because if nothing else you can just run a tank setup & get past waves every time garuntee if you're patient.

Sure, colosseum is less time consuming to complete, but the monsters require knowledge of flicking on proper ticks and inferno does not. The ranger and manticore are much more advanced than any monster in inferno. Sol Heredit is also a much harder fight than Zuk… hands down.

I think zuk is a lot more difficult than sol but that’s just me

I personally think that getting consistent fast kc is harder at colosseum, my pb is 16 completion in a row without reset or deaths and some of the gameplay i have to pull off is sometimes alot more sweaty than what i experienced in the inferno
