You have no idea how happy I am that someone is talking about dark hairs on their face. I've had dark hairs growing on my face since I was 20 (34 now) that's been getting worse and worse the older I get. I have since being diagnosed with PCOS so mine is all hormonal. If I left mine I would genuinely have a full on beard. I have to epilate most days to keep up with the growth ☹ I would love to try laser hair removal but don't know if it would work for me because it is hormonal and I feel like it would be very expensive just because of how big the area is it would have to cover... Looking forward to hearing more of your faults. I love how honest you were in this video because it made me feel so seen!
I haven't read any of Adrian Tchaikovsky's fantasy but I have really enjoyed his sci-fi. It would be interesting to see what you think of Children of Time, in particular.
Thank you so much for talking about and showing your facial hair! I have PCOS and I've had very thick, obvious facial hair since I was a teen, and I always had so much shame surrounding it. As I've gotten older I've seen more women talking about their facial hair and hormones and it's so liberating! I wish I had been able to see that when I was younger so I would have felt less alone with it. 💗
Thank you for sharing your experience and talking about laser hair removal. It’s something I will start in January because I have lost so much of my confidence because of the hair growth. Thank you for documenting it! 💜
Cats find a way ALWAYS lol. I sympathize with your hair issues. I'm a trans woman and though our situations are different I understand the pain it can cause. My mother is in the same boat she's Cuban and has thick dark hair and has been tweezing her hair for about 50 years. I hope the laser hair removal works for you.
I'm actually so excited to have the "Is the Goldsboro Subscription Worth My Money" conclusion 😂 As someone with a similar problem I love that you talked about the process of laser hair removal, it's not something talked about I feel like but I really appreciate you being willing to 🖤🖤🖤
Sweetie I've suffered with a hairy face for decades. My daughter gifted me with laser hair removal sessions for xmas a few years ago. Best gift EVER. I've gotten to the point where I'm almost at 5 months between sessions.
Ah I relate to the facial hair thing so much. I shave my face every day to avoid the 5 o clock shadow you mentioned. I did laser hair removal and while the amount of hair was reduced for awhile eventually it came back. I'm thinking of getting electrolysis done because it's the only 100% guaranteed permanent hair removal technique. I'm curious to see how your experience is!
I’m a little late to the video but I also love that you talk about your dark facial hair 😊 (I mean I love your vlogs! They have become my morning routine!) I have struggled with dark hair on my face as well. I don’t know if I’m up to date on your videos but I hope the laser hair removal is working! May be something I need to look into 🎉 Happy reading all 😊
Laser hair removal did not work for me. As a red head apparently this is common. I feel it actually stimulated hair growth so at age 60 I am still shaving. every day. The upside my facial hair is lighter so not extremally noticeable if I keep up shaving each morning.
All those editions are so pretty ❤ too bad you only semi liked one book😂 And yay for lazer 🎉🎉🎉 hurts like hell but for me it was worth it. So happy for your peloton class 🎉🎉🎉 I saw it on insta and am excited for you❤❤ All the extra fur babies content in this vlog 😢😢😢😢 they're so precious❤ HAMMY ON YOUR CHAIR/HOT WATER BOTTLE 😂😂😂😂😂
Oh my goodness, those dogs! After being a parademic, then a chemical dependency counselor, I needed a change after decades. Im a dog rescuer, foster mom and dog sitter professionally and its the best job, least pay, job ever and I love my life. ❤
Excited for some cross stitch content! I am working on a Taylor swift project currently, and I just finished a Stormlight pattern. I love to audiobook and stitch.
Oh wow, how interesting! I bought Shield Maiden because when you originally shared it, it sounded SO up my alley with the disability rep and everything. But I really didn't like it; I felt it was plotless, didn't like the ending, the writing was absolutely boring and tedious... That's why I love booktube, something that sounds not good to one person could be the others favourite book!
You are definitely inspiring me to read my book box books with this series! Even if it’s just to find out I should stop paying for them lol. But seriously, if I’m paying for these I need to find if I like them or not. Also, I really appreciate the talking of unwanted dark hair, and laser hair removal. I have some issues with this also, and have gone for a consult but was scared of how much it will hurt, and results as well. I’m so glad to hear it’s been worth it for you so far and if I do it I hope to feel the success results are worth the pain. 😬
I love Tchaikovsky but his writing isn't for everyone. This one is not one of his most praised. It is odd. I really liked it, though, and can't wait for the sequel.
My friend started laser hair last year, she has dark thicker body hair than you and her results have been instantly obvious and she's been very obviously much happier since starting it. In the country we live in, they recommend about a year of treatment for all target hair to stop coming through but it depends on the person.
I like the stitchrovia pattern you chose to stitch, its very festive 😊 I love to stitch and listen to audio books or watch flosstube 😊 I'm stitching a few christmas projects at the moment. ive just started iron flame and I'm also reading it starts with us. Happy reading and stitching 😊
Here in my place most people drink tea in the morning after waking up . For many people hot good strong tea in the morning is an addiction . I like both tea and coffee and i drink it according to my mood .
Unfortunately with laser hair removal, it doesn’t work as well on hormonal hair. If it’s due to hormonal imbalance, it’s worth dealing with the root cause as well. In some instances laser hair removal treatment can actually promote the growth of hormonal hair. But I had laser hair removal on my legs, underarms and bikini line and it’s one of the best things I ever did.
Have you tried Matcha instead of coffee for the caffeine since it's said to be slower release caffeine and therefore less likely to cause those crashes? not a doctor but I much prefer matcha in the afternoon nowadays and I think it's better for me (may be placebo effect lol). I buy the bird and blend ones (they have sampler packs) and my favourite is super matcha
I’m not a big fan of the texture of Matcha tbh. It’s fine though, I don’t need a coffee replacement, I don’t have caffeine crashes anymore and I only drink one cup of coffee a day anyway
