for a budget gamer it is fantastic...you could contrast it with any number of higher-end CPUs to make it look bad, but bottom line is that it will get you gaming at a great bang-for-the-buck ratio!!! If I had no other choice but to build around this CPU a PC for the next five years I'd be more than happy...
I helped my nephew build his first gaming PC and used the 10100f paired with a GTX 1660 Works great for the games he loves to play. And hell, if I could have had that as my first gaming PC I would have been on cloud 9.
finaly i found a video thats closer to compareing to what i wanted. im running a i3 10105 , 32GB ddr4 3600mhz ram and a rtx 3060 . wanting to upgrade to a i7 11th gen or i9 11th gen but all the vids ive found have been with a 3080/ti so now i realise how much difrance it will make. subscribed thanks
i got the 12100f and im pretty happy with it, considered going with the 10th gen, but wanted and got the 12th gen in the end. its interesting to note that the 12100f is close in performance to the 10400f
I watched this video thinking it was done by a popular channel with years of experience. I was shocked when I saw this only has 200 videos. I genuinely can't think of a single complaint about this video. Well done. I sat through until the end and enjoyed it. It's informative, it feels quality, and you did multiple tests in multiple games. All around, if I could make a change to this video I wouldn't. Keep it up!
Thank you! I did used to run a channel 5 years ago but that one only had ~30 videos I think. Still, I appreciate the support on my videos, I've been attempting to improve quality so its nice to see!
@@tech_evolved Exactly! I built my PC using used-but-modern parts; i5 10600k 2x8GB DDR4 3600mhz GTX 1660 TI for a little under US$400 (CA$540) I think I did good, what do you think? I totally agree with you, if you're buying all new parts, an extra $50 to move to a whole new generation is worth it
there are faster 4 core cpus out in the market that beats 6 core and 8 core cpus, yes I am talking about Intel's i3 12100f, it beats r5 3600 in most games, r7 3700x in some games
I"ve got an rx 5600 xt .Will I notice a significantly better performance if I upgrade (from i3 10100) to an I5 11400f ? .Is it worth the upgrade with this gpu ?.Thanks
Depends what games you play. I haven’t benchmarked the 5600 xt but I know going from the 10100 to the 11400f will see better performance in certain titles and overall system responsiveness
You could say I now exactly how Intels whole performance range feels like. I am using the I3 10100 at work and the I9 13900KF at home and even had an I3 8100 a few years ago. Interesting video though
i just build an pc using the i3 10105f paired with the rtx 2060, comig from an i7 4770 wich i now use as my second pc, paired with gtx 980ti. i play at 1440p and i think the i3 has no problems here, the 2060 is a bigger problem in this setup für 1440p gaming. running stuff on 1080 p, i do not know why 90 % of the people should use more than this setup... its totaly fine. and if you asked me..for most games you better pay 500 for an xbox series x which gives you hella lot of 4k power which even a pc für dubble the price cant handle. pc seems like a scam to me for just gaming^^
@@tech_evolved AMAZING!!! Also, if they are getting into budget 1440p (higher price of course but “budget” goes up with resolution in my humble opinion) the 6750XT IS AMAZING!! I currently have it! 4 extra GB of VRAM and extra power is crazy good.
i3 10100f ,1070ti graphic card 8 gb dont suck i get over 60 frames ultra settings 1080 , 100 bucks more for i5 just buy a better video card if you dont get 60 frames cant tell much difference after 60 frames anyway
@@tech_evolved that’s fair. I was thinking of setting up a budget pc for my first build and if i don’t mess it up I’ll give it to my dad and build a better one or upgrade the cpu to something beefier down the line. I like the look of intel’s budget lineup
@@plsbanhackers9031 Yea that's the way to go bro don't take disrepsect from what the dude said he just meant he is reviewing the i3 10100f but yea I'd reccomend the 12100f
@@YoungMinistry351 honestly i don’t care enough to get offended lol. Nothing to gain by being that sensitive. It’s not like I can’t have feedback on tech stuff from the million other tech channels 😂
In albania is differen after 3 or 4 years u play games with i3 gen10 1060 6gb ur gonna see that the pc is slowing down and u cant buy a new procesor or graphics card cus is cheaper to buy the same specs brend new than just 2 things😂
I can't agree with forza horizon 5 I have a 10100f and an rtx 3060 and in 1080p on medium the average is 95fps in the measurement you have an average of 70fps
Hey guys, @tech_evolved , look, in my country i7 3770 is about from 30-45€, (i7 3770k cost about 70-80€ and i could overclock but for 2x the price i think it's not worth it) I was thinking of upgrading from an i5 3470, i know its a about 10-12%boost, but i really love my computer (do not think of anything funny about what I meant by love, this computer means alot to me) what guys do you think? I mean i have a gtx 1060 6gb, 12 gb ram, and i think uprading to max 16gb ram, and an i7 3770, i do not play the newest triple A games, but still for that price, is it worth it. Newest game i have so far is nfs heat, and its really cpu heavy, cpu is bottlenecking my gtx 1060 at ultra settings at 900p (Don't mind my youtube name, that dream never came true)
3770k is definitely faster but I’m not sure it’s worth the extra money. Upgrading to a hyperthreaded processor will definitely help with gaming though. So I’d personally go for 3770.
@@tech_evolved what i did was I opted for a xeon e3 1240 v2 (nearly identical to i7 3770 just without igpu) and it costs only 8€, and the performance feels much better
@@techjobsltu703 that was definitely a smart thing to do. Old Xeons are cheap as dirt now. I've actually got a few videos coming up that feature some of them (specifically x99).
