Solid review, highlighted the strengths with realistic footage and honest about the drawbacks. The side pad situation was enough to convince me to get a V12HT instead as my all-in-one daily rider this year. It's a disappointing choice by KS, on what is otherwise a well rounded wheel.
Yeah, as a satisfied V12 owner myself, I think this wheel is a less durably built V12 with suspension and slightly better speaker sound. Which in the case of the speakers, is useless imo.
Considering this as my next wheel. How is the ride compared to the T4? It's a higher price tag so I'm expecting alot more from this wheel. But overall specs seem similar.
Hi. The Begode T4 is better value when just considering specs, but we suspect the T4 has been purposely under priced by Begode to gain market share. The KingSong S19 is more refined, better build quality, music and lights.
Thanks for the question. It would not be our first recommendation for a beginner, because there are smaller, cheaper and more robust wheels (without suspension) to learn on. But everyone is different, so those that prefer to jump into a better wheel with more performance, comfort and enjoyment, then this is a solid option that won't leave the rider with buyers remorse.
So did you decide yet? Those are all great wheels you listed, you just need to work out what is most important to you and the way you like to ride. Good luck and enjoy riding!
Is it right for me? I never bought a pre-sale item, i also never bought or rode an euc. I saw the s19 going for $1000, pre-sale. Wow, I’m buying figuring i’ll learn later.😂. Before hitting “pay now” i called, thank goodness.
If you were expecting it to be $1000 (the presale price) when you ordered and you didn't know the balance value, then it may not be the best option for you. Consider a lower priced unit to get started on. But the KingSong S19 is a good option for a balanced model that most riders won't feel the need to upgrade from to be satisfied with the riding experience.
We can only provide our feedback on air suspension as the spring version hasn't been released yet. Basically air shock is adjustable for different riders weight and amount of dampening desired. Spring coil isn't adjustable and only suits a more narrow weight range. So need to get the right spring for your weight (for example 700lb for light riders, 900lb for heavier riders). Spring coil lower maintenance.
This is definitely the next wheel for me. My kingsong 16s is still going like new after 1600km and I was looking at upgrading to the s18 for a while now but when I saw this being released I knew it was the next wheel for me. Now I just have to find a way to buy one.
User error 😬 just took corner too hot and hit some loose sand 😂 2nd one was a poorly negotiated root and rock, Basically hit a root that steered me in to a large rock 🙃
