I just bought this myself. I think its pretty dang amazing. Im a sax player, so im into synthwave stuff and things like that. Personally I stream as well, so I got a capture card so getting and recording the music not a super big deal. HIGHLY recommended. Its half off for like 10 more days.
You can record the output one track at a time into (free) audacity software, then mix. The only issue really is the sync, so you'll have to do that manually. The best way is the video way: start all your tracks with a loud, short sound; you can then synch by sight using using using the waveform view on audacity.
Nice video, I have an ipad, and I can transfer my music from switch to the ipad version but i also have my switch hooked up to my surface 6 for sound and video recording. I still love my DSN-12 and Korgm01 library, but the effects and gadgets are very nice and you bang a professional sound but im super happy the DSN-12 Olliscope made it to this version.
Its is but pushing the DSN-12 and korg M01 to it knees I can bang out some nice stuff on the switch alone. Check out my DSN12 stuff. I still like it more than the korg gadget cause I can quickly sketch out the sounds I would like to hear.
I usually prefer physical format, but this is a case where I would rather have the digital version, as I will be using this a lot (have my first Switch, OLED, pre-ordered). Also, I have a hardware synth & sampler set-up, and it will be very easy to plug in through the headphone jack and sample from and/or record into Audacity on my PC. I've already been plugging my 3DS into my set-up using the Korg programs on the 3DS, as well as sampling from Elektroplankton. Thank you for the review!
USA physical copy is available for pre order, its cover art is pretty ugly but comes with a 60 page instruction booklet! I already know how to use all the gadgets throughout but that manual sounds sweet!
@@josezuniga3747 if your pretty good at sound design and nintendo style daws, you can get a real nice professional sound. The digital version is on sale 30 percent off. If you don't know how to use a synthesizer, this would definitly be worth it because of the book.
The Op-1 has less options to export your tracks than this does, I dont think having to use an aux port should be a dealbreaker. You cant quantize an electric guitar, but people have managed fine with them for decade, i dont see why this is any different.
Damn, the track started blasting off there at the end. Korgs a good company, just a shame about the finicky exporting. Maybe they can patch something somewhere and make it more user friendly?
Blips 'n Pips Oh dang. I did look in the App Store and they’re on Korg Gadget 2 and it’s going for 39.99 rn; maybe a new version will come out or something? It’d be nice to get something like that stateside
They still update it, pretty recently added support for (pc) keyboard and arcade stick. I think Nintendo are very strict with exporting options in software on their plattform so they are the ones to blame. Check out detunes youtube channel for updates.
Blame Nintendo for this, i heard that they are the one putting a restriction on exporting stuff. Korg guy manage to use QR code to bypass the restriction was good enough i think.
Made by the same people, this is Korg gadget combined with the controller interface of the DS programs. And now they integrated the DSN-12 olliscope from 3ds.
Not hard to get, its available through the store anyways...a lot of the Store games get limited run physical releases, but in random ass countries anyways
Hey pretty cool and all, i dont edit music but it seems rad. Ask me though if i dropped a glob of mayonnaise onto my phone while watching this video during the lunch-making portion of my day. Go on. Ask.
