bro that counterbalance weight will for sure mess the balance of that putter up, I played golf with the man himself bill Presse and he told me this in person
Thanks PVP. I’m in the same boat as you. Almost pulled the trigger on a mezz max until this came out. I find I putt a bit better with mallets but love the look, feel, control of a blade. Please do a follow up video letting us know how you are getting along with this. If it’s as forgiving or close to as the mezz max. Maybe a “link vs mezz” pros and cons. Thanks again
I have one and liking it so far. Feels great but balls seems to jump off the face more than I’m used to. The alignment is actually one of the best parts, really easy to square up. Only thing is the mass balancing isn’t perfect, which I was surprised by. Overall pretty happy with it thus far!
The Honu is the only mass balanced putter and feels devine truly. Hand made mallet piece of art too. Has ZERO torque, fittable and having had the Honu of the robot it has ail been the most accurate putter tested of 41 comparisons.
been playing the Link 1 for a week.. agree with your assessment, this putter is pure! easier and more forgiving than the Blad. Had that putter in the bag for 6months and have swapped straight away. play off +1 with a game built around shortgame. if you are reluctant to try Lie Angle Balanced due to looks then now is the time.. such a good looking putter. Recommend the upgrade shaft too... Mine is one of the first 500 and will be in the bag for the foreseeable.. thanks for your great enthusiastic content
Thanks, Ben! The Blad was still a great upgrade over my old putter and sold me the on the idea of lie balanced. It's funny how both the look and the function were able to be stepped up so much in this version. I loved the Blad, and I think most people would put better with it, but this is on another level.
Whats youe thought's on the Edel eas 1.5 in comparison to the Lab Link? Im tore between the two, think the edel fitting is incredible, but the lab tech is also incredible. Whats your thoughts and advice!? I use to use the df2.1 which i loved result wise, but terrible looking!!!
Hello Peter , thanks for review . I’m based in Africa and not able to test lab putter . I can get a B.2 at a good price or pay a bit more for the Link . I’m very interested in your view having owned both putters what the difference are , feel , forgiveness , stability….etc . Appreciate any advice as it’s a big spend for me
I played my first round with the LINK this week and it was very good. I still need to get used to it (get rid of my old putter swinging habits). I will say that I left a few putts short due to the lack of head rotation.
I might pull the trigger $694 with all the upgrades I want, but that seems a little ridiculous Idk... It's either this or a custom blacked out Argolf Lancelot, which is also about $200+ cheaper and the feel is second to none. My buddy has a LAB putter and I rolled it once and I HATED it. Off the face is really really hard , is that the same with this one?
It’s a much lighter feel than the other models. I’m not sure if I’d call it softer as the heavier Mezz.1 feels pretty soft to me, but I like the lighter, flippier head for more feel puts when I need them. If you’re in the Chicago area, you’re welcome to come try it!
@@petervonpanda Thanks for the reply. I’m probably gonna pull the trigger. I really like the look of it and that was the only thing preventing me from getting one. Thanks for the offer also. Love your channel.
i have a horrible left shoulder. it won't allow me to set my elbow to the correct angle without being so painful. at 68 i am not sure my game is worth this investment as my playing time decreases. i wish these were out 20yrs ago@@petervonpanda
