I’m a mechanic. I work at Lexus. We work mostly on Lexus’ but we do get all sorts of other cars, including beemers and benz’. I can assure you that Lexus cars are much better than those other luxury cars. We are so used to Lexus and how easy they are to fix in comparison to BMW and MB. For example, to do an align for a Lexus, you just have to input what car you’re aligning, you prop it up, hit your points for adjustments and done deal. Bmw and MB, a whole different ball game. You have to put weights on the car before you start, you have to load and unload the suspension, it’s just a nightmare. When we see BMW’s, Mercedes’, land rovers, etc, we just wanna run away. Lol. But for anyone who bought a Lexus, you’re in good hands. You have a Toyota car. It’ll last you forever. We get grandfathers in all the time. 250k 300k and more. I don’t see that with other cars. And if you’re thinking of buying a luxury car, please run away from the other ones. You’ll get a much better car in a Lexus.
Yeah got a 08 bmw 325i touring with a N52b25 engine and it's done 221k had it since 209k grant found out the history a few months ago as it's had it pretty rough but had timing issue a vaccum leak but other than that very reliable just needs more part made of metal than plastic. But looking at a Lexus is350 or gs430 test driven them and fell in love even over my bmw and that's saying something
So the issue is that performance and reliability are a balance you try to make. More performance. Less reliable. And vice versa. I will say that BMW’s are much better in terms of performance. They’re really pushing the envelope in terms of performance. And they take Lexus Every time. But as far as reliable? Lexus and Toyota all day. But still BMW’s aren’t bad cars. They just need a bit more care and make sure your pockets are heavy enough to deal with them. Good luck to you mate.
I've had my 08 IS350 for 4 years now and it's always a joy to drive. I'm looking to replace it with the 2014 model but I would'nt dear trade it for anything German.
Man, I gotta say - this channel has such an amazing concept of reviewing older cars! Most of us don't want to spend money on brand new cars when the value drops as soon as you drive off the lot!
There should be a tax on cars with poor longevity. Or a tax break for cars with high reliability. Forget Diesel Gate, the wastage of irreparable euro cars must be huge.
Ironically those are the cars that are super cheap to buy on the used market despite costing as much as the Lexus new. The Lexus is holding onto resale value well for a reason.
@@User-cb4jm love Lexus. I seen an 2014 IS 350 the other day for $14,500….with 187,000 MILES. Don’t get me wrong it might even be a steal lol. That car was SO clean. No scratches anywhere, leather still looked beautiful and supple. The lettering on the window switches was even still in good shape.
NG your dead right ! the problem being trying to convince people who bought said shit boxes that they are indeed shit boxes because its all about the image right
Hey mate, if you like Lexus reviews and want some more I've made a few of them including the IS. If you're interested to watch let me know what you think :)
Yeah. They’re great. I’m a Lexus Mechanic. So I work on these cars literally all day. I will say they don’t make the numbers that BMW cars make in terms of speed and HP. But with Lexus you’re getting a car that you know will last you 250k miles and more with just doing your basic maintenance. Oil change and such. Enjoy the car!!! It’s people like me that love being under the hood of these cars so you guys can enjoy them every day. And I take real pride in my work.
@@frankyjas5184 Toyota's strategy across their entire range is to deliberately overbuild and undertune their products. People complain about how weak the Landcruiser and Yaris GR are compared to its competitors, but because the powertrain is so gentle to the countless moving parts under the bonnet it lasts for hundreds of thousands of kms instead of it being a mechanical writeoff at 150k kms despite being serviced as per the logbook.
I have the same model - 2013 in basalt mica (dark grey) bought second hand with 51,000kms in 2020. Now 4 years later and only 78,000kms. It's been great alright, leather interior holds up well. Would consider my next car to be a used 2021-22 IS300 hybrid F Sport (or succumb to a Hybrid SUV!).
That thumbnail caught me off guard thinking AK was covering his face in shame and embarasment for the IS but soon realised he is actually crying in happiness and joy!
Over the past 20 years I’ve had an sc430, an isf and now an rcf and I have never replaced a light bulb or anything other that scheduled servicing. No issues covered or not covered by warranty, no leaks, squeaks or clunks. No loss of power, no window, door, boot or hood issues. Literally nothing other than servicing. The Germans just can’t compete.
I bought a 2010 Lexus IS250 a few years ago with 70,000km and it now has 155,000km. It is an extremely reliable car but they do have that carbon build up issue. Luckily for me I know how to work on cars and I just took the intake manifold off, used Liqui moly decarb cleaner and picked off all the carbon with a hook & pick set until the valves were clean and put it back together. I then added an oil catch can and she's loving life again. It was easy and only took me a weekend. If your not that way inclined or you don't want to spend about a grand to have the valves cleaned then I wouldn't buy a 250. The IS350 doesn't have that problem as it is direct and port injection.
Who said it would be boring talking about any car in general, with you, Jim and the rest of the crew I could easily tune in for hours, great laid back presenter, entertaining and on point.
Hey mate, if you like Lexus reviews and want some more I've made a few of them including the IS. If you're interested to watch let me know what you think :)
I have owned a 350isF for 6 years and apart from servicing I have not spent 1 cent. It is a great drive. Get into the windy Hill countryside and it is so much fun to drive.
Got a is350 sports luxury 2013 and it’s the best fun I’ve ever had on the road, haven’t looked back from buying it. So glad to see other people giving it the praise it all deserves
I have this lexus is300 2017 premium package it's pretty solid it's like a bullet proof and it's actually fast enough specifically when you put it on sport mode the sound system is amazing . Everyone seems to compliment me when they see me with it. Great choice if you want a reliable long lasting car with slick design and sporty look. You can definitely modify it easily . I had no regret spending my hard earned money for this machine because I enjoyed it everyday 💯 🥳
I never comment as I watch this channel on my television. But I just wanted to say what a fantastic resource this is, and how well put together all the information is. It’s near the top of my list of RU-vid car channels.
This is seriously the best channel for stock/close to OE car reviews. The content is so short and simple, and avoiding going over the obvious shit that others love to drabble over to make the videos go on for ever....
We have had a IS200T for 6 years from new and it has been faultless, has lots of power and sticks to the comers when driven hard. After 100K's it still feels like a new car. The sound system is the best I have heard in any car and is the 10 speaker Levinson . Its my wife's car and she loves the aircon through the seats that also comes out around your neck at just the right speed. Would have loved to have known the research and testing just to get the right amount of air through this part of the seat. Amazing how good value these cars are.
Great review ! I totally agree with you in your conclusion about the German brands and the mismatch of reliability VS marketing. Perception always beats reality. Lexus deserve better
When my ISF went in for work at the dealer, they gave me a 2020 is300 loaner. All the tech was nice but, personally, paint dries faster than it goes at full beans. Then again, I'm used to v8 beans. Another great review!
I have had two Mercedes, BMW, Acura, and I purchased a Lexus LS 500 in 2020 brand new. I have always heard how smooth and great to drive they are and the maintenance is rare except for normal maintenance. Let me say I am a Lexus man for life now. The BMW and Mercedes are faster but you can’t beat the smooth driving of the Lexus.
We picked up a second hand 2014 is300h in 2018, black outside, creme inside, it already had more than 100k on the clock but it has been a dream. It really does feel like a new car even though it's 8 years old, and the turning circle, omg, it's incredible. Ours is fully optioned with everything including Mark Levinson premium sound and it is incredible. It now has 140k on the clock and it still looks and drives like new, in and out, it really does. Another thing to consider in the hybrids is how often the engine is off or at idle when driving around town or on the highway, so 140k on the clock of a hybrid is not like 140k on a BMW 3 series. We just can't fault it, we like it so much we just bought a new NX and we are keeping the IS as our second car.
Lexus service is amazing. I have heard so many complaints about the lack of assistance from the European brand service departments. At Lexus it is amazing they cannot do enough to help you.
Great review. Own IS 350 black line edition 2020. Fun to drive and interior is adequate for my needs. Easy to service and the sound of natural aspirated V6 is awesome.
Great perspective "adequate for my needs"... too many times I see people bashing Lexus for not having the absolute newest tech although it's very functional
I am a 2021 Lexus IS F sport AWD owner, have been for 14 months. This is my lifer car. I will buy a new one when my unborn child is able to drive that’s how much I love this car. I treat it as if it just came out of the showroom. It took a northeastern beating in NJ a few months back but still shines brand new. I couldn’t speak higher of it and from the price I paid for it, it offers so much more than other high end dealers.
Another great video and CONGRATS on the Cars24 Sponsor! Definitely means you guys are doing something right. 🙂 I bought my 2016 IS350 FSport RWD in July 2019 with 25K miles on it. It's my 4th Lexus and is freaking amazing. The car is a great daily driver of course, but last week I took it on a 5 hour drive and this is a cruising machine. The FSport seats were amazing, a little short in the thigh dept after awhile, but still very comfortable. In normal mode I got 28mpg on Premium gas. For comparison, I normally get 17mpg around town because it's driven solely in Sport+ and Manual mode. Oh this car will wear out some tail. ;-) My personal negatives about the car... First - The cupholder placement drives me batsh*t crazy! They are too far back and the passenger has no place to rest their elbow. Apparently it has been fixed in 2021, so we'll see whenever my IS500 comes in. Second - In addition to no good place for the cell, unless a 3rd party holder is purchased, there is no dedicated place to store sunglasses. It can go into the door cards, glove box, or arm rest bin...but the risk of scratches are high. :-( Third - The brake dust on my FSport's front wheels are the bane of my existence! :-D The car has to be washed weekly to keep it in check, especially if you're a spirited driver. Brake dust is the price you'll pay for really good stopping power. Personal Tip: If you find a desired Lexus, do exactly what AK said about getting it checked out. Additionally, I recommend registering on the Lexus Owners page and plug in the VIN of the vehicle. If it was ever serviced at the dealer, those records will be immediately visible for free. From here you can verify if all TSPs have been done. Get. This. Car. You will not be sorry you did, because the cachet (overall) is better than BMW, Mercedes, or Audi. 🙂
Brake dust on the front wheels was the first thing I noticed when I drove my 350 home from the dealer. Absolutely terrible! Ordered some low dust performance pads on Amazon and had them installed the first week I had it. Problem solved! Love the IS 350!
I’m from Israel, here we only got the IS300h I own a 2014, for the last six years, and it has been perfect. Could use more power, but the reliability, the drive and total experience has been amazing.
Have owened my 2018 Lexus IS 200t for the past 2.5 years and love it! A common issue on these cars are tire's being eating up quickly So many IS Owners upgrade front Bushings to RCF or Figs LCA and Rear Toe arms with aftermarket Toe arms, these two things will help the longevity on tires on the cars :) a fan platform to modify for the younger crowd if you can afford it as its not a cheap car to mod.
Great review! Sold my IS350 F-Sport in the US a few months ago. It was an amazing, sporty and reliable little car. I'd highly recommend the IS if you can find one that has detailed maintenance records & has not been in an accident. I still drive Lexus, but needed an SUV this time...
I have a 3 series and I will definitely be changing to an IS once the used car market settles down a bit. Here in UK, tax is £10 per year. 60mpg, and generally owned by people who look after them. I absolutely love my 3 series (e90) but I just wouldn’t have a more modern 3 series because of the horrendous reliability and build quality.
as a german and owner of AUDI´s over 20 years i´m now with Lexus and i´m quite satisfied. Think i will not go back. Yes they lack some shiny newest gimmicks but i dont need this in the first place.
Been driving an IS250 from 2011 (V6) now on 250.000km. Wonderful experience. Fuel efficient, sporty, smooth, reliable, powerful, comfortable, premium. I expect it to go for another 250k without much aging. Only problem is an occasionally slipping transmission which could have been avoided if transmission fluids had been renewed in time. I can’t find any fault in how these cars were built.
We bought a 2015 IS300h in 2018. The only things we've had to replace were the 12v Auxillary battery during the lockdown. Which a lot of cars suffered with, and a set of spark plugs when one failed. Brilliant car which gives us 52 mpg on a 2.5L engine.
it gives you 52 mpg on a 9s 0-100 car... Its expected. Its slower than a 140HP diesel... And honestly, the spark plugs should last a million miles on this atkinson engine... How are they failing in under 10 years on such a weak NA engine?
@@AI-qd4vb barley faster. 1 seconds faster at the very best. you have more torque in the diesel that is why. spark plugs fail.. as the comment said. 1 failed not 4 you could have a glow plug fail at any time. terrible argument
I loved both of my ISs (300 and 350). It was awesome to have a reliable car I could stop light race everyday. I don't like the latest ones from a looks point of view. I plan on getting another one as soon as possible, but I want to get an older version (2008ish).
Congrats on getting a sponsor for the video guys. Just goes to show that your hard work is paying off 👍. The only "luxury" brands that you guys haven't done yet that I know of is the Infiniti and Genesis. Out of those 2 the one that I'm most interested in seeing is the Genesis to see how it compares to Lexus and the European competition. Out of curiosity when are you guys hoping to/looking at doing a Redriven review tour of Australia? Good video guys as per usual, looking forward towards next week's videos and have a good weekend guys.
Thanks so much, mate! We’re wrapped to have a sponsor where there’s so much crossover with what we’re trying to achieve. It should mean we have access to a wider range of cars (not just begging family and friends to borrow theirs), and hopefully that means more and more content for you guys! As for the Genesis, some early Genesis models are getting to about 5 or so years old, so might be worth a look. Back when they hadn’t broken away completely from Hyundai. The team would love to do a tour of Oz asap, there’s a bunch of viewers with really interesting cars that we’d love to go shoot. Thanks for your consistent support, mate. It’s always nice to read your comments.
@@ReDriven well you guys are by far one of the best review channels on RU-vid and even better than shows like Top Gear. Be interesting too see what you're planning to do when you hit the silver play button which I have a feeling will be before September this year.
I have the IS250 2006 model for 15 years. No issue accept shock broken and coolant leak which are easily fixed. All electronic never broke even the rear windows electric sunshade work. Sadly I part way with the IS250 because I want a ICE performance car before they are gone. I now drive a Kia Stinger. Would have bought a IS500 F if Lexus release it here because I know Lexus will last.
I’ve owned a Lexus 200t w 88k miles when I got it for around 18k I have been in love with Lexus every since then I have it around 98k miles now and only thing I’ve had to do is change the oil the car runs great is extremely reliable and is always getting me compliments on my car!
Awesome. Recently purchased is350 F-Sport 2015 AWD. $30,000, 62,000 Miles. From Lexus Dealership - I've had it for 2 months and man does it drive smooth. - But like you said, around corners or (exits) it does tighten suspension to give a sharper feel. - Fast for a v6 3.5 and Reliable - Nice Red Interior ** Worth the money If you looking for Reliability and Fast. Maintenance is cheap since it mostly Toyota. **
You're going to love it for sure. I'm about 6 months into my '21 IS350 and I still catch myself admiring it from my office window at work. It's a pleasure to drive as much as it is to gaze at.
You will really like it. Suspension is stiff but not harsh and is a pretty quick car even though is not as fast as the competition. The best part is that it doesn't break down. I picked up a 2015 Atomic Silver one with the red interior before the pandemic and love it. I'm glad I got it before the chip shortage since the price is now about 8k more.
Update: Ended up getting a 2017 IS200T F Sport in mint condition. Only 22,000 km. Got sick of waiting for a good condition 350 to come along. No regrets. Still love the 200T.
I bought my 2012 IS 350 a little over a year ago, and other than routine services, I haven’t had to do anything else to it. It’s light years more reliable than any European car that I’ve ever owned. Toyota/Lexus for the win everytime as far as low cost upkeep and longevity.
I like this, and I'm considering it, or a TLX, or Civic Si. I don't know why most reviewers are so biased against this IS. I think the interior is outstanding and doesn't feel dated at all. Ironically, reviewers hate the dated interiors on the German cars. The reviewers also seem to hate the new interiors on the German cars. They hate the power output on the IS, but it's most adequate, and most BMW 330 and 340 owners rarely ever wring out their cars.
It's a great underrated car is the IS, I have the hybrid and you can really hustle it around town. However, there are creaks and rattles. All the plastic in the centre console has driven me nuts over the years with all the creaks when the car flexes when going around corners. I've had to strip it down several times to add loads of felt tape to lots of contacting surfaces, nearly all gone, bit still not perfect. Also there are rattles from door panels in hot weather, and the door seals are garbage, have to keep reapplying grease. Mechanically though the car is bullet proof and will never let you down, handling is also great and hybrid gets awesome fuel economy
I worked 6 months at a dealer in Canada - some of the mechanics reported that some engines (direct injection) suffered from carbon build up which was laborious and a tad expensive to combat
Owned (3) BMW’s, the newer ones are very costly to maintain. Athletic but injury prone. Bought an ‘18 is300 last summer hoping for a more trouble free experience. Dealer service is top notch.
Wonderful video and i recently bought an IS similar model (not f sport) because of this video. It has been with me for almost 6 months and i have no problems at all. I used to have a c class and a4 then warnings would come out after a month of usage. Owning a lexus is one of the smartest moves i made in my life
Again, killer review, AK and team! 👍 Ah, the posh man's Toyota... Makes me wants some IS-F action.... Actually it's a bit small for my 6'6" frame. Guess I'll have to go for a GS-F. That V8 sounds sooo nasty....
Thanks for this video guys!!! The IS can be a bulletproof choice. I'm in the market for a GenII IS350 AWD for the winters. It's this, G37, or Impreza Hatch. I think the IS is a classier pick. Thanks again
Infinitis are nice but won't last you like the lexus. I have 2nd gen 350 awd definitely recommend it! They only made the 350 with awd from 11 til 13 or 14 so they're a bit harder to come by
@@brandonsalazar9128 thanks for the specific years. I did notice a ton of IS250 AWD available. I may get one of those, it's primarily to my son for college. I have an IS500
It's worth hunting down a deal on a top trim used Lexus, they are so well kitted out. I recently got a 2010 IS250 sports luxury and it's been like 2 solid months of continuously finding new features.
We bought a 2016 IS300 (3.5L V6) AWD in 2019. It had 36,000 miles. We have 85,000 miles now and have had ZERO issues. We do the regular maintenance and its been great. We live in Denver, CO and the AWD system with all season tires works great in the snow. I ran winter tires one season and its even better. I hate changing tires so now I run all season. Its not as fun as a 3 series or A4 and not as luxury as a C300 BUT its a really good car and will be VERY reliable compared to the BMW, MB, Audi or Alfa Romeo. Infact we had an A3 and sold it when my wife got a company car. Id rather keep the Lexus over the Audi.
I had a 2016 IS350 f sport loaded with Mark Levingston. Front brake rotors needed to be replaced at 30k because of brake squeaking. Lexus has a UDATED rotors and pads to go on older IS if you have a squeal. The rear sub in the window had a nasty rattle when listening to heavy bass music. Replaced the sub with a nice aftermarket and no more rattle. Loved the car.
You guys are missing out on the Lexus gx470 and gx460. It's a Lexus version of a Prado or LC150 with big pp v8 Speaking to Lexus quality, I have a Gx70 - 2003 with 217k miles (350k kms). Driven 10s if thousands of miles if off road and Overland. Everything works, all the electronics, windows, power seats, climate, etc. All of it works. The only on road failure ever was a $5 gasket in the high pressure side of the AC. But it was trivial to fix.
One car everyone forgets in Australia is the last model CU2 Honda Accord Euro Luxury Navigation which in US as an Acura TSX competes with the Mercedes C and BMW 3 class. It's much cheaper, much better engine in the legendary K24, more sophisticated suspension, more luxurious and more reliable in practice instead of just a reputation. I know I have one. In 13 years I have owned it never had one issue! Product Review gives it a 5 star review!
Hey mate, if you like Lexus reviews and want some more I've made a few of them including the IS. If you're interested to watch let me know what you think :)
3rd gen IS250 F Sport owner here. Mine is an absolute joy to drive and own and I can tell for sure my next car would be another Lexus IS, but I'm debating between the 350 F Sport or the 500 F Sport Performance
I’ve owned 2 IS currently IS 350 F sport which I will keep forever Totally reliable and inexpensive to service great to drive hard of country corners 👍👍
I exchanged my IS 300h five years ago for a C-HR because my back asked me to. I can recommend both, we're a fiftyish couple, no kids, a pet cat. Plenty of interior room and power. I now drive a top of the line RAV4, mainly because I needed the AWD and options wise it easily tops both previous cars. It's the first time in my life I reach almost three years and am still fully in love with my car🤠
Bro, your back asked to be healed not for a change of car. A CHR and a RAV4 is a step back next to an IS... Seriously, my 80yo grandma can climb inside my sedan and you bought a massive SUV to haul 2 people around because of your back? What a waste of resources. BTW, option wise, your RAV4 doesnt offer RWD, or proper driving dynamics, or proper insulation, etc... Having extra heated seats is not a bonus over losing a premium platform. The RAV4 is an expensive SUV built over a cheap and compromised platform. You did not upgrade over the Lexus.
My dream car is a V6 Lexus with a 2GR ... i know that's kinda lame, but I think it would be heaven. As I get older, the idea of comfort, elegance and reliability are paramount and I think in the seat of a Lexus would be a beautiful place to be for a drive. Although id definitely take that American V8 for a drive ;)
I bought a used lexus. 2014 lexus is250 base model at 60,000 miles. Going on to 80,000. No issues at all. And it drives amazing. Best reliable car in my opinion.
W205 C Class and F30 3 Series next please! Those cars sold in larger numbers here, especially the Benz, and well we need the “What goes wrong” section on those more importantly than we need it on this Lexus 😉
I bought a 2020 IS350 F Sport in Dec 2021. It's my daily driver with a 15-30 minute commute on suburban roads. It was an upgrade from a 2012 GTS86 so it's a very different experience and even though I miss the 86, I don't regret my choice. The extra grunt of the V6, especially in Sports+ mode, makes this heaps of fun to drive but so much more luxurious. Fuel consumption is about 8L/100km on highways and up to 14L/100km on suburban streets in peak hour traffic. Our other car is a CRV so the added bonus of a Lexus is luxury with levers (indicator and wipers etc.) in the right places! These cars are so much more than fancy Toyotas.
Yes from new the likes of Mercedes and BMW are far more popular than the the Lexus but on the second hand market the Lexus is far more popular thus have far better resale value oppose to a euro with expired warranty
8AR-FTS for the turbo. But thank you for the objective review of RTI! I've always said, it is ergonomic and does have a somewhat strap learning curve but touchscreens cannot compare! Once you get use to it, it just isn't as distracting at all!
We bought a brand spanking new is350 F sport with EP 2 pack. We actually traded a MB CLK 63 AMG and although the Lexus IS nowhere near as fast it really handles very well. Lexus after sales service is excellent too. We’ve just cracked 100K km and she’s still like new. I have to say Lexus paintwork out of the factory is sublime. The Mark Levinson stereo is awesome too, zero distortion at ear bleed volume levels. The V6 goes and sounds great. The IS F 5 litre V8 was available in Australia for a few years. We were recently talking about upgrading it but, with my wife working from home she hardly drives so what’s the point of spending big bucks for a new car to just sit in the garage? And of course with Lexus we have the typical reliability, never had one single glitch, nothing. Oh yeah, brake dust build up is a pain and if left too long is hard to remove from the sexy shadow chrome rims. Can you tell how much I love my (wifes) little Lexus? If anyones thinking of buying one, just do it.
The IS is a solid car car. I've owned one since 2016 and nvere had any repairs. I also got lucky with mine. I got a mine while it was only a year and a half old and low miles from an older lady. Price specked brand new was 49k and I got it from her for 30k
Thanks so much for the awesome review. I fell in love with the Lexus. It's reliability, comfort, luxury and it packs a good punch. If you're willing, you could do a few basic performance mods, some aesthetic mods and you'll have a gem of a daily over here. Also...is the [presenter a drummer? Really cool chops during the presentation lol i loved it. EDIT: I'm contemplating getting a VW Golf MK6 but I've heard some nightmare stories. The alternative for me would be a Lexus IS350 F Sport if and when I can afford it. lol
Design is definitely a few steps behind the german cars..slower..you dont see many on the road because they dont have that much status and performance is also behind your 2 litre bmw and audi. It is not the equivalent of a bmw and audi..its just a souped up Toyota Corolla with more styling and that's it. EDIT- he said the same thing..lol
Hey Keanu, if you like Lexus reviews and want some more I've made a few of them including the IS. If you're interested to watch let me know what you think :)
I know you said some won’t buy this because it’s a “fancy Toyota” but that’s the exact reason I want it I love Toyota for their longevity and reliability but I also love Mercedes for their interiors and I feel Lexus has stuck a perfect balance for me between the two, I’ve started financial planning to pickup a used IS350 FSport from the third generation I love the Lexus brand and the idea of a car that’s both incredibly comfortable but also incredibly reliable So yeah I’m heavily biased towards Lexus since they’ve quickly become my favourite car brand but in this case the emotional view ties in well with the logical view of this being a great car to buy
