So first off both of these trucks we own so no bias here. The big question for this video is the Limited worth the extra $9000 compared to the SR5. 2024 Toyota Tundra Limited TRD OFF-ROAD 2024 Toyota Tundra SR5 TRD OFF-ROAD
Looking forward to more Tundra videos. A couple of days before you came out with the first Tundra video, I started looking at selling the Ram 5500 and replacing it with a Tundra. The Ram seems to spend a lot of time in the shop and costing a ridiculous amount of money for repairs and maintenance. I think I can do better with Tundra as the daily work truck.
The Little control you didnt know what it does, its for the folding door mirrors, you can have it automatic when you lock the truck or you can switch it off and even fold the mirrors when you need them to fold maually. i like the limited and would pay the extrak 9k. enjoy your new trucks.
The pano roof can also be closed all at once. By holding the shade button for a moment as well. And the pano roof will open a few more inches holding down the button after it stops.
Honestly I would just be happy to have an SR trim package or just to have a fullsize truck again period. I feel there are enough options in the SR except for not having a trailer brake controller and a tow haul option for the SR trim. For the last 8 years a midsized truck has done everything I needed it to do, But the added room of a fullsize is nice. The most I towed was over 4,000 pounds with my midsize and it did decent job for me.
I'm in the same situation, i have on deposit 2024 Tacoma SR5 TRD Sport with Premium package Blue Crush Metallic and on the fence getting a 2024 Tundra SR5 TRD Sport Blueprint also with the premium. The tacoma has every option possible but the tundra only has a hand full of stuff it doesn't come with. No moon roof, no wireless charging, no ventilated seats, no power tail gate and a few otehr options
Nice comparison video Tyson. I think the SR-5, for the money, would be my choice. Both are great trucks though. My wife would definitely want the Limited! lol. Happy New Year my friend.
The limited definitely has a lot of nice features over the sr5, which I have. I didn’t want to pay over 10k more for them however (tax on the 9k remember) then have to deal with even more chrome to delete! For 24, in Canada, if your wife’s truck was a hybrid it would be all colour matched. Toyota is weird.
I love my tundra ... very good truck , very very capable and pretty reliable, with all stories of engine failure and quality are 90% bullshit and lies ...
Lovely trucks , the limited is definitely better , way cooler , more stylish looking is plus better thought out for convenience and is in my opinion worth paying a little more for extra elegance in looks and in the improved design and power points on and within the rear storage area . Merry Christmas to you all. Here's a toast 🍻 to an awesome and successful , fun filled , happy new year 🎊 .
I like the Limited but i think id take the SR5, colour match it and put some leather seat covers, and some upgraded tires with a level. Be in it about the same money or less.
The flickering of the screen has to do with the frequency “hertz’s “ the camera and the screen and other LED lighting are running on the same and that’s why it is noticeable. Nothing wrong with them.
Great walk around and comparison between the 2 trucks. I think it was a wise choice to pick Toyota this time because I've been hearing a lot of complaints about the Fords lately. Next time instead of trading in a Dodge you should do a giveaway of the truck to one of your loyal subscribers. 😉 Did I mention I sold my old truck and really, really miss it ?😏
Love my 2023 f350, kept my 22 f350 to see if I like it. Much much better truck so I'm gonna sell my 22. Guage cluster has more guages then my 2023 mack truck
I wonder if the plug in for the led truck bed lights are there? Can I go to a salvage yard and pick up some of these missing options and just plug them in? Same with the upgraded seats.
Don't be like me. Brand new 2023 ford f350 race red lariat srw diesel. Had it one day, back up in the woods a big tree limb crossed the bed rail and dented it in 1" slightly noticeable at a distance. Long story short it's broke in now!
With some more time in the saddle, I am very curious what a working man like you thinks about the toughness of this truck. I am so torn on 2nd gen vs 3rd because of that. The new electronics and safety features that are mostly a nuisance in bad weather scares me. As well as the ability to work on it myself when that day would come. I love the looks and inside and out so I’m leaning towards the latest model. The coil springs were a turn off at first but a guy reviewed both suspensions/frames and had me convinced coils are way better for stability and comfort due to the nature of how the axle connects to the truck. And they’re easier to upgrade than leaf springs. Besides. The kind of stuff I do would require air bags at a minimum, for either truck
@@workplaytv given your history that’s what I thought! At least all your trucks are tastefully done and look great. Hope you guys had a great Christmas Bro.
Be careful with adding a lift. I installed a 1.75 rough country leveling kit on my 22 limited and was told by my dealer that it would have to be removed due to voiding the warranty. I contacted Toyota canada and they basically gave me the same answer. Just a heads up.
Love chrome, when working a truck paint match scratches, chips, stays dirty, etc. Chrome takes the abuse and still looks good once polished up. Had both
