Is The Linus Tech Tips Bag Worth It? 

Linus stated in a recent WAN show that the quality of the carabiners was unacceptable and somehow didn't come up in their testing. They will be sending out care packages to those who have bought the backpack with new redesigned carabiners and showed the ones they were looking at using on stream. The one they are likely going with are made of titanium and the way they work it won't be possible to break them as they're all one piece. They will also be sending regular zipper pulls if you'd rather use them, and a tool to install them. I received my backpack recently and I'm very happy with it. Super well built. Also, you said they don't ship from Canada but they definitely do. They ship from Vancouver....I'm not sure why yours shipped from China or if you're just kidding but that's weird.

Paying a bit more for the quality and to support the creator is fine, those extra taxes/import fees tho...

Btw, where the water bottle compartment is, there is a little compartment where one put an AirTag into it. ;)

You can take off the suitcase strap if you're not using it and throw that in the RFID blocking area and you can also fit the passport at the same time. Do that and itll be easier to grab at

The main compartment for laptops. I put my gaming laptop, my galaxy book 2 pro 360, and an external monitor. As well as a Wacom cth480 for playing Osu. So it works great for me. So far traveling with it (I have a traveling job). It has been great.

I was about to type a comment saying "knowing how delayed some of these videos are, I fully expect to see that 6 months later segment" when you hit me with only a month later. Speedy upload hehe

If I hadn't discovered the Gomatic travel pack a couple of years ago, I probably would've gotten the LTT one. Looks pretty good.

I think it is a laptop, a tablet and a handheld Linus wanted to use those 3 compartments for lol It is annoying with all those import taxes.

External monitor, laptop and tablet. Your confusion about the 3 pockets doesn't make any sense. I can think of plenty of uses.

The biggest issue with the LTT backpack is the price. At the price they are charging, they are competing with Kreiga which is frankly the gold standard for backpacks. And the LTT backpack lacks all of the features of a kreiga that make them the gold standard, namely the fact that shoulder straps are adjustable at the top and bottom (and the straps go inside the back of the backpack and attach at the lumbar), the quadlock keeps all the weight off your chest and back (I got one for motorcycle use), and any sort of waterproof pocket. If they were around 100USD or even 150USD they would be a better buy imo. But for 250-300USD they are playing with high utility brands like Kreiga and luxury brands like "Briggs and Riley" or Gucci and they are not competitive in either space.
