Everyone calls NPS a low-cost option, but I'm not sure in what sense. In mutual funds, we only pay 0.001% STT, with no other charges. The expense ratio is already factored into the daily NAV, so the XIRR reflects the return after expenses. However, in NPS, units are deducted from our account as fees, so simply comparing XIRR with mutual funds is not sufficient.
ANNUITY is the worst place to invest in. Dhirendra Kumar is a sly fox, who is getting funded by both mutual fund houses and few other entities. He is often giving contradictory advice, something on his website and something else on TV / RU-vid.
@@sooribabu4895 That is the real benefit. After seeing drawdown like today's many people will redeem the mf. But in NPS you get uninterrupted compounding. Also, What is your age?
