Some extra things I'd like to mention about the necromancer. It is really good in polluted wasteland due to the very tight pathways and the necromancers are basically guaranteed to hit the zombies. Also the necromancer is really good if you don't have anything else to put in your party slot. Turret and ranger could be a good replacement but necromancer is just more fun in general. Okay bye
AND necro is INSANE in badland because you can get like two maxed necros before wave 30 and destroy two tanks instantly,in wave 30-40 destroy everyting because he has like ifn maxed tombs due the enemi spam Who that means he uses his Max DPS all the time and with spam of maxed tombs the enemies stand no chance at all
Tbh i like necro cause he is actually fun to use because it’s either “hooray little skele army i guess?” Or “HOLY SHIT THIS THING IS RUNNING EVERYONE OVER HE IS SHREDDING”
Id rather grind for funny skeleton men rather than accelerator which makes almost everything easy 💀(also i predict that necromancer is going to get another buff)
i think its also important to note that necromancer deals 64.94 dps along with being able to target 7 enemies, making it deal around 455 dps if it is hitting 7 enemies which is really good for breakers
But, it already deals 1k dps with all executioner skeletons and the necromancer’s damage should be 45 at max so that it isn’t too OP than Accel and Engi
Ideas for balancing it out: 1. Instead of the animation lasting like, 3-4 seconds, it should just be a quick raise of the staff and putting it down. 2. You could make the max gravestone cap. change from 7 to 10 or something similar. 3. Remove the weird idea of killing the previous skeletons when summoning new skeletons. 4. Make the threshold for ability usage lower than 30, like 25. 5. Make it do more damage to make up for the animation destroying DPS. 6. Make the upgrades, y'know, cheaper... 7. Remove or decrease the amount of RNG needed to summon certain skeletons, make it like the Jester, where you can choose between skeletons. 8. Make the skeletons in later levels or in general stronger. 9. I was listening to Moozie 6:38 and realized that having a skeleton or bone wall would be HUGE, like in Bloons where the spikes attack the enemies running over! 10. Allow the player access to where the gravestones go {within range or not} (gives the player more freedom and sense of control)
I just spam executioner skeleton and since it’s late game prob they keep getting grave stones so I have like 90,000 hp on skeletons that would be super unbalanced
Necromancer has a huge design flaw, being a piercing tower you would need to place it in a straight line, but gravestones placement almost always force you to place it in other spot where it will either miss or not use the full pierce. Theres 2 ways to fix it, give lvl 1-3 projectile a ricochet effect, or give it the ability to select the spot where you want to spawn graves inside necros range
Necromancer has the most dps possible at one time at close to 1000 although that is extremely rare, but also has the most continuous dps possible of around 500 if it constantly hits 7 targets and you are using the ability when the gravestoned are ready. And this isnt hard to pull of either. The bottom levels have equal value to the paintballer, but max level is INSANE
Thing is, necro isn't supposed to be good. It's supposed to be a fun little tower that you can use. And personally, I've had ALOT of fun with necro. Like ALOT. It ain't a meta tower or anything, but my nonexistent neurons activating after seeing a 3k hp Executioner shred 3 enemies for 2 seconds is already satisfying enough in the era of brainrot. So, in short... If you like collecting towers, yeah. Get it. But if you suck at the game... then don't even bother.
if you manage to max out all the gravestones and do the ability all at the same time, there is at least going to be 3 executioner skeletons, and a whole armada of hallow guards. basically a free 15k damage.
@@thebearer8904 I mainly use necromancer and he is my favourite tower Plus now mercenary base has almost perfect synergy with him and i like it very much as well, i have so much fun using both of them while still winning.

honestly, i feel that what’s luring people away from the necromancer is the rng and microing needed for necromancer to do good damage. its really hard to get consistent damage with necromancer and is super overshadowed by towers like g mini or engi. if only they made it so you could choose where the gravestone spawns, and making so the gravestones spawns a fixed waves of skeletons, necromancer could have a chance against the meta towers.
from what i've experienced while using the necromancer is that if it deals more dmg on lvl 3 gravestones it has a bigger chance to get and executtioner skelly. (not sure if its true tho)

yes but i think people would rather have accel who does like 200 dps (idk exactly) doing the damage to a single high hp enemy than a necro who does 466,6 dps across 7 targets, the skeletons do kinda make up for it but also you can only place 3 necros so thats also a pretty big downside
As a personal Necromancer simp (he's my boy, i spent too many gems on him to let him be a meme tower). He's just so cool and i feel so special when I summon 21 big skelebois at the very last wave just to deal maybe 10000 damage to the boss while my accels clean up.
Necromancer is probably gonna be ppl best option if they don’t take time to spawn graves or summon skellies and be a bit cheaper to early def also if spawn more the skellies then the previous ain’t gonna get killed It’s not worth 1,8k gems lol cuz like when it’s still the Lunar overtune I had like enough gems to buy necromancer and my friends persuaded me to buy it but nah I’d accel and so I didn’t regret buying accel even though it got nerfed now🥶
I own this tower but I do hope the skeletons will come out from the base and then walk to the entrance instead of rising out from the graves by using the ability. For the ability maybe when you use it, skeleton arms will rise out from the ground and grab enemies down to the ground instant killing them. This is just an idea to make necromancer fun and somehow useful I guess.
Let me cook now i will say necro for necromancer 3 Necro spawns Executioner skeletons pretty commonly u will prob not care the stun that is from ability cause the ability itself deals 300 dmg per gravestone necro is a late game tower it is a great sub dps with accel it can hit 7 enemies and that makes his dps insanely high but it is not a finisher tower like accel i dont think comparing it with accel makes sense cause like i said i see it as a sub dps u can place 2 necros and act like they are a turret (it is great for mid game in early levels -0,1-) it has a big range it has a decent single enemy dps it is pretty good for hardcore it is good for events necro can get max grave in like 10 secs if he is in a good spot because u can only place 3 the price is very low unlike accel if u want to compare necro can get buffs correctly instead of accel if u want to compare if placed correctly u dont need to focus on placement just place it near path it is prob the best tower for 2 or more pathed maps, event maps
I just want to say that your subtitling style is cool, and i love that youre doing them by hand, but it is kind of hard to read them and listen to you at the same time, as the content of the subtitles often does not match the content of the voiceover. just my opinion tough, you dont have to care at all really.
necromances isnt meant to be a dps tower unlike accel hes meant to be extra dmg and to have untis to push back the enemies for a bit and hes VERY good at pushing the enemies back
??? If necro isn't a dps tower than what is it supposed to be? Necro costing gems and having only a limit of 3 makes it horrible there's a reason you don't see this tower in any strats it does zero damage on all lvls except the max

by far my "must use" tower beside commando for me and my opinion is if they bring back the feature that skeleton always walk toward first enemy on the map, necromancer would be cooler
When do we tell him the summons are returnees by how much dmg it dose beffore the ability there isn’t as much rng as you think(also idk kinda removes the major downsides of the tower)
its actually worth my 1.8k gems the reason why is because on max lvl you can get max graves really easy due to its dps and it can hit 3 enemies at once,the luck based graves are not that bad the harrow guards are really OP because it can take of most enemies in fallen and a horde of skeleton knights will still do a great job
personally necro just needs a non rng rework, like if it keeps attacking for a long time all of the graves will spawn the best skeletons, but it'll take a long time
comparing necro to dps towers is kinda stupid tbh necro is mostly good at crowd control, and not raw dps, and if we jugde him with crowd control in mind he is perfect for this
Great video. I like to relax play not much grind, I bought mercenary base, pursuit, engineer and accelerator for robux, I was thinking about necromancerr but it seems to be like Tower Battles Headless Horseman but worse in TDS.. I guess not worth 2K robux
necromancer is good this dude is actually yapping. your getting like 21 skeletons maxed and if half are swords that's 1.1k hp 2 executioners is 7k hp and 8 hollow guards is 8 x 1.25k hp thats around 20k hp wroth of enemies and 455 dps if its hitting max targets. 💀💀
My load is necro, accel, dj, farm and ranger. My strat is to tank a few waves, place necro, get lv2 necro, farms to lv3, necro lv4, max farms, max dj, max rangers, max necro and max accel. I know its not a good load, But i really dont wanna remove necro so idek what to do😅
compared to accelerator or even engineer this is a rather niche tower especially with how clunky it is, i don't care if it got a buff, it still doesn't fix its issues. If you have the gems to spare, then sure but if you're only starting to grind hardcore or have just reached level 50, then skip this tower, unless you feel pressured to have a limited per year tower.
If you want a tower that has high hp and some spam just CHOOSE ELF *CAMP* you know what time they spawn you know what’s the limit you can spawn infinite amount and doesn’t need *SOULS* and if there towers too strong necromancer becomes *USELeSs*
Im sure this was before all the buffs but every time i used necro and had to pop the graves i got the executioner. Tho this is also during the time that brawler just came out so uh the answer to the title is NO.
Actually the necromancer is not rng based at max lvl bc it will ALWAYS spawn 4 of those knight skeletons and 1-2 executioner skeletons are GUARANTEED and then the remaining skeletons are hollow guards
i mean, hes alright. he could be a lot better, but he is worth buying if you have extra gems laying around, for have nothing to do. definitely worth 1800 though.
rn im grinding for engi with the lucile strat but im prob gonna get necro next considering ive been with friends who have necro which is rlly good in pw2 when i played with them
i didnt even grinded for it i just had the gem ready while trying to grind for engineer and since it was limited i bought it and then bought engineer i didnt regret it since now i can flex to my friend
Guys hear me out, why not just make necromancer spawn the skeletons just like crook boss and elf camp? Wouldn't that just be i don't know.... Better? Instead of doing the animation thingy why not just let them spawn on their own?
I have golden mini gunner so I would rather buy necromancer because gmini is like the Walmart version of accel tho they are both very good I think I would rather use gmini over accel
i personaly think that they need to make another upg for 50k or 70k for really latr game and he spawns then 10k skeletons wiyh an weapon and if not he only spawns executioners and the dmg and gravestones and placement limit
