993 have been my favorite model since I got into NBs around 10 years ago. Unfortunatly for a long time they were not available in Europe so they were actually kind of hard to get. Luckily they came out in Europe in 2023 so I was able to stock up on the regular grey pairs. A few places have had them in the og black cw bur they sold out fast. I hope they will get them on the european NB site.
I am glad you were able to stock up on them! the 993 is a shoe that I could not live without lol! I would love to get a pair in the black color way, hopefully they put them up soon
Just got my GF a pair of 993 and she’s hasn’t stopped wearing them. She has 2 pairs of 990v4 as well but the 993 is her go to. Keep the good content coming 🔥
The author of the channel may not agree with me, but the gold standard NB for me personally, according to all criteria (stabilization, roll, moderate softness, design) is exactly 990 v4, v5, other models are either softer or more stabilizing of the foot, but that’s it the golden mean is v4, v5, for example v6 are comfortable, soft, but in the heel they are not so stable and fall a little
@@samdopkosky The 992 was recently discontinued before Teddy Santis started with NB Season 1. The 993 is back with three colorways this year, and the all gray is still available.
Hey question, I just started getting into New Balance lifestyle shoes. Bought and waiting on the 993 in the mail. The 990s seem to update every year or two right? But the 993 seems to have one version. Has the 993 ever been updated or has it always been this one version? And the website only has gray. Do they release other colors as well? I'm assuming that's a seasonal thing? Thanks man.
The 990 gets the most updates. The 993 only has one version. I’m not quite sure why they only have one version (maybe because it’s perfect lol). I’m pretty sure they are going to start to release new colors for the 993 in the next few months.
There was a lot of time between the 990v1 (1982), 990v2 (1998), and 990v3 (2012). We’ve only seen more 990 revamps since the 2010s. Between the 990v2 and v3, New Balance released the 991v1, 992, and 993. The 992 and 993 only have one version.
I think the 9060s are very comfortable! They are very wide and chunky which makes them stand out from other new balance models. They feature abzorb in the heel which adds to the comfort. It is hard to compare them to a 990 or a 993 but they are for sure a very comfortable every day sneaker!
