Nice video, they felt like they were less important than they were in COH2. Good to have some numbers to back them up Just a tip, if you are doing testing with cheat mods don't use the victory point mode (use annihilation). That way the VP bar at the top of the screen disappears, freeing up more screen space.
The Stug MG is worth it for sure. The main issue i have with the pintle mounted MGs is that they shoot at Airplanes wich reveals them in the fog of war so AT guns can snipe them. Stug is the only one I get but I usually play as DAK so stug is not really a viable option.
Yep The pintle shooting at the planes and revealing itself is 100% a problem. Also, I don't think the MG34 and MG42 can damage planes. The StuG spam got hard countered by the AT spam and sometimes 17pdr. The StuG D's pintle used to get the extra range from its firing position ability, and could somewhat snipe the AT guns. Now I stopped using StuG as DAK because of these and also the USF's chaffee seek and destroy spam.
Yes, but it got diluted by other factors like burst duration, burst frequency, reload, RNG, and accuracy. So, it increases the total DPS but not by much. My guess is that the 20% extra fire rate wouldn't make much difference, but that's just my guess. I will make a DPS table and post it in my discord when I have time.
