Pokornyi has had intellectual property stolen by many ali express sellers who sell ready made wheels and ali express has refused to take action, PLEASE support PE directly buy building one of their wheels, they are cheap for the quality you get and its great fun to put together and customise (having built the f1 pro myself), Mr Pokornyi himself has been incredibly nice and helpful when it comes to suggestions for new designs, amendments to things i have already purchased (such as adding new features), and when troubleshooting the very few issues i had whilst building my wheel, It's so amazing to see one of their fantastic designs get the recognition it deserves PS ~ Dan please pin this comment if you see it to share PE's IP theft as due to the lax laws in china means many of the sellers continue to sell hundreds of their wheels illegally, its a shame to see their hard work go underappreciated... thanks!
@@zq3yp Capitalism isn't the same as stealing intellectual property and promoting said theft. Telling people to cry more for calling out a valid problem says you have zero character. I hope all the wheels you buy off AliExpress crap out the first time you use them.
I've built a couple of poko projects now and it's immensely satisfying. A group of us built them together - everyone buys the plans then we bulk order parts and ship to Australia, which reduces the costs significantly. Can highly recommend finding some others to build with (we just had a discord channel) so you can problem solve together, share ideas and knowledge and maximise the quality of the final result.
I built mine last year and i love it honestly, the look of it matching real GTP cars is priceless to me, and it's more special when you build it yourself, Would definitely recommend if someone is interested to go for it. I also have a Cosworth sticker on top of the screen which makes it look more authentic ;)
I am building the FGT as we speak. I am doing the soldering today on the board. took a while to get everything delivered from aliexpress. I feel the Pokornyi wheels are the best in DIY space.
Well done. The three part build was excellent. I genuinely hope you decide to sell the “Dan Suzuki QR.” It would be perfect for so many of us, especially with bases like the VRS DFP.
Nice overview. DS QR FTW! Being able to pop it on and off like that without cable changing is great! I've ordered my 3D Printed parts and will print a few of the other smaller pieces myself. I also ordered the CF Plate from PE with Silicone Grips.
After your DIY project here I am definitely tempted to do it as well! It looks amazing and I would love to build one on my own. Off topic question: Do you already know when and how it will be possible to get your QR system?
Dan did you ever get the led's for the button's to work with LMU? The screen and REV LED's work, can't get the LED's behind the button's to work. They all work fine on iR, AC, ACC.
@@DanSuzuki so after finding my brain, I had some sort of “default” profile loaded for LMU. Opened up the profile I have while LMU was selected in Simhub and it works fine now. 🤦🏼♂️
@@DanSuzuki Achso also mänlich von NRG, was auf weiblich von Simagic passt? Ich nehme an der Connector kommt nicht mit? Ist das ne selbst gebaute Platine?
Hi Dan, I think everyone wants to know about your plans for this QR system, especially for Simucube owners. Do you have any plans to develop this further, and make it available for purchase?
I bought the files but it was extremely hard to source the Front glass (with the etching) and some other smaller things from The Netherlands that would make it to much for what it's really worth.
