Petro dollar monetary system is a ponzi scheme (an extension of colonialism) which not only helped the west to print trillions of dollars/euros/pounds out of thin air despite poor growth rates but also to export high inflation to so called "third world countries". The Federal Reserve Note needs some form of support to remain a viable option in World Trade exchanges. The Saudi Petro Dollar arrangement provided a percentage of the profits from the USA buying Saudi Oil, to purchase Treasury Notes. That was one method of providing external support for the US Dollar. The Colonies that were acquired from the Spanish Empire in 1898 we some more places that were required to support the US Treasury. Today Latin America has joined the other former Victims of US Foreign Policy that was providing support for the US Fiat Currency, as they and others now seek shelter from US Policy, in the BRICS Trade Group. The former Colonial Empires of all the G-7 Nations appear to now have gone behind a BRICS Wall. All the G-7 Nations now face Currency Issues as their Fiat Currencies no longer enjoy the support that Colonies provide to the Empire that rules them. India seems to be aware of how colonial exploitation works.

Liberals have been preparing the ground work since 2008 financial crisis (first nail in the coffin of the dollar) for the currency reset. It is only wishful thinking . Most of countries would not prosper internationally without USD . Everybody takes a shot at USD but their own currency is much worse . All these countries use USD because they need to . I remember when 1$ was equal to 8 Rupee and now about 84 Rupee and other currencies are much worse. Indian Rupee has lost over 90% of its value against USD in last 50 years .

USA is producing more oil than ever before , more than Russia and Saudi Arabia . The cost of oil production in US for Existing well is between $31 to $45 and new well $59 to $70 . Shale based oil is cheaper to produce than conventional oil . Shale oil is cleaner and sold at much higher price and very profitable . These oil companies are not going bankrupt left and right . There were some bankruptsy during covid when oil consumption was down worldwide . On other hand Saudi production was down 900000 barrel per day in 2023 due to OPEC cut . Saudi might be just trying to get some of that volume back . Saudi Arabia need $95 per barrel for their future commitments . Lower price will likely hurt more to SA. USA is now producing 13.3 million barrel per day and Saudi Arabia does not even have capacity to produce as much as US . American unemployment is lower now than when Trump was president .

"US contributed 25 to 28% world's GDP"? How? GDP growth rate of the US is less than 2% but still they printed trillions out of thin air so that they "contribute to GDP' of other countries? What they really contributed was export of high inflation to so called third world countries every time they printed trillions of dollars out of thin air. Saudi already ditched USD since it has already started accepting local currencies for its oil.

There is not any other currency to replace USD for oil trading . Saudi can do bilateral trade with other countries but it can only be limited to import from that country . For ex. If Saudi accept Rupee for oil and India buys 100 billion Rupee worth of oil . What Saudi are going to do with Rupee , they might import 20 billion Rupee worth of goods from India but other $80 billion Rs. is useless . If Saudi needs oil equipment from USA or Europe then Saudi will need USD or EURO . Saudi could sell Rupee to buy USD at market price and Rupee could plummet due to lack of liquidity . Eventually all excess currency gets converted to currency that is stable and highly liquid . Most recent example was trade between Russia and India and it fell apart in few months . Russia is holding lot of useless Rupee . Russia can only import so much from India ,so Russia stop accepting Rupee . Saudi Arabia can accept any currency for its oil , there was never any restriction but they mostly trade in USD. By the way Saudi Riyal is pegged to US dollar.

China is the only country who exports way way more then imports and every country on this planet is in trade deficit with China including USA and whole Europe. But interestingly China also not pushing for it. China will at her own time when it will finish US in such a,way that US will not be a threat or a super power.
